Alex moodily walked down the busy hallways, heading towards a row of tall lockers. He was certain he'd left his French folder in there, and decided he'd better get it, he didn't want another round of detention.
He didn't know why, but recently Alex had been in a foul mood, and he hadn't been friendly to any of his friends. He'd let Ryuu annoy him, and he had a feeling Dakota was still annoyed with him. No wonder he was called emo.
With a silent sigh, he turned the numbers on the padlock of his locker to the right combination. 266. Alex needed to forget about everything, or at least try to, but he had so many things going on in his head he was getting frustrated, he couldn't talk to anyone. No one would understand, and he wouldn't even let them have the chance to, as usual he would be his aggressive snappy self. He grabbed his lime green ring binder from the top of his locker, and then slammed the metal door shut with such force, half of the people in the corridor turned to stare at him.

One of the staring pupils was The Infamous Ryuu James(hell, that’s so his new name x]). He was walking down the hall, waving to various people he knew/was acquainted to, and he saw/heard Alex slamming his locker. Ryuu’s locker was right next to Alex’s, on the left, at the end of the row right by a window. He walked over, grinning, with a grey and white and black Oakley postman’s bag slung over one shoulder. “Yo, hottie,” he grinned, dropping his bag and opening his locker without bothering to look over at Alex. He was too used to being his best friend. Sadly they hadn’t been getting on so well recently, but it had slipped his mind, like most things did.

Alex rolled his eyes indirectly at Ryuu. Muttering something under his breath he remembered he'd forgotten to grab his jacket from his locker, and began fiddling with the code once more. "It's Alex, Ryuu" He replied, his tone of voice cold and bitter, it was obvious he was in a bad mood, if the locker slamming hadn't already given that away.
Him and Ryuu hadn't been getting on very well anyway, so much for being best friends. Alex just seemed to realise how annoying his best friend could be. And he blamed Ryuu for the argument with his girlfriend, Dakota Woods. "I'm not in the mood to talk to you right now" He mumbled, though his words were perfectly clear, he wanted to be alone. emo. Grabbing his black and white checked hoody from the hook inside the metal locker, he slammed the door shut agian.

Ryuu rolled his eyes; did Alex think he was really stupid or something? Actually…he probably did, and this annoyed Ryuu even more. Alex was being so petty and it was really wearing on his nerves. “I know that, doofus,” he muttered, grabbing a few books and dropping them into his bag. He glanced out the window, and smiled. A shaft of warm light hit it and warmed the area around it. Today was going to be marvellous. Unless Alex had anything to do with it. “Oh really. Why’s that? Did I hurt your ego?” Ryuu was surprised at how harsh his own words had been, and he made a motion to say sorry, but then stopped again. Alex could go cry about it if he was so hurt.

Alex kept his eyes narrowed; he knew he was being completely out of line, and harsh for no particular reason. Well there was a reason, Ryuu had kissed Alex, Alex had kissed him back, now Dakota knew about it, and they had fought about it. He hadn't spoken to her since. Alex could only blame himself; he would never blame himself, thats just not Alex.Sometimes he did live up to his expectations; the rich emo snob, who only cared for his ego and reputation. So, it might be true. "Ha, your funny" Alex hissed, at Ryuu's remark. He hadn't actually planned on what he would say to him, he'd just decided to act all moody. "You just piss me off!" He snapped, "Deliberately trying to ruin the one relationship that is working for me, just because you can't handle your own!" He was talking about that night in the club, when Ryuu had attempted to kiss Alex. Yes, Alex was still moping about that.

Ryuu bent down and scooped out unwanted books, papers and used gum wrappers from his bag, before shoving them as far back into his locker as the mess in there would allow. He then slammed the locker shut and picked up his bag, slinging it over one shoulder. Stepping closer to Alex, his brow tense with anger, he pointed a finger at him accusingly. “Cry me a river, emo boy,” he growled, his eyes boring intensely into Alex’s. He was so pissed off with Alex right now, it wasn’t funny. “I’m having enough trouble as it is, without you getting all Emo Snob on me, so go fuck yourself somewhere and get over it!” his voice rose, his vulgar language drawing attention to their confrontation. Several students that were milling around the hall turned to stare, and speculative murmuring broke out among them.

Alex adjusted the strap on his black satchel, whilst glaring back at Ryuu; he was currently wondering why the two were best friends at all. Or, more recently, had been best friends. "Oh boohoo" Alex mocked as Ryuu mentioned that he had problems of his own, probably involving his brother.
He ignored the emo comment, he's grown so used to that insult it didn't make a difference nowadays, although his temper was probably at the highest level it could be right now anyway. "Just because your brother has come here as he is fed up of taking care of all your mistakes" He spat, probably not making sense, but like he cared. "Why don't you fuck off back to Dijon back to your precious family" He continued, hoping this would really get on Ryuu's nerves, "Thats if they still acknowledge your existence" He finished, flicking his black fringe out of his eyes, and with one last glare turned to walk off. He was so tempted to hit Ryuu, but they'd already attracted far too much attention.

Ryuu had turned and was just about to walk away from the confrontation, when Alex brought in his family. He spun round, face like thunder. “Don’t you fucking DARE bring my family into this, you pathetic FAGGOT!” he yelled, and grabbed Alex’s collar with a strong arm, pushing him so hard against the lockers they shuddered and books fell down inside. “You have no idea what you’re talking about. You’re a pathetic excuse for a human being, Alexandre Bradley, getting all emo about every little thing. I’d like to see you have a day in the real world, then you’ll have something to moan about! People like you make me sick. You’ve got the most expensive fucking car in the parking lot, you have every little trinket you’ve ever wanted, and yet you’re still MISSERABLE!” Ryuu had completely lost his temper now, and with out a moment’s hesitation, he swung his fist at the side of Alex’s face, praying to God that he’d smash the pathetic emo whiner’s jaw to pieces.

"Hit a nerve did I?" Alex said simply, raising an eyebrow in some sort of perfected manor. He was taken aback as Ryuu grabbed his collar, swinging him to the side, his back slamming into the steel lockers to his left side. Despite that, a smirk was still visible on his face. He was surprised that he hadn't completely lost his temper yet. As usual, Alex didn't take anything Ryuu said into account, so what if he had one of the best cars; that really had nothing to do with the situation. Before he could even think of a witty reply, he felt Ryuu's fist hit the side of his nose. Shit. That hurt. His right hand was automatically drawn to his now bleeding nose, but he definitely wasn't going to let Ryuu get away with that. Raising his free hand he pushed his fist with all his strength into the stomach of the taller boy, hoping he'd keel over. "Oh what, so everyone must feel sorry for Ryuu James because he's had such a terrible life so far" He jeered. "So what, you got one fucking girl pregnant!" He added, and with the sleeve of his jacket wiped his bloody nose.

Ryuu felt his temper flare again, but somewhere in the back of his mind he knew what he was doing was very wrong. Alex didn’t know, it wasn’t Alex’s fault he’d made a mess of his life. He was only his friend…or he was. Ryuu realised his anger was fading, and he tightened his grip on Alex’s shirt, seeing and feeling Alex’s warm blood trickling over his hand. His fist was still bunched, and he was poised to hit him again when Alex’s fist made contact with his stomach. Ryuu grunted in pain, and stumbled back, bent over double and clutching his stomach with his eyes shut in pain. “Don’t make assumptions. Please,” he hissed through clenched teeth, trying hard not to retch up. Straightening up, he stumbled forwards, glaring angrily at the icy cool Alex. “Why are you doing this, Alex? I thought we were friends! Okay I fucked up, but you don’t have to hold a stupid grudge against me. I said I was sorry,” he pleaded with him, even though it made him sick to think that he was being nice to Alex. He knew deep down that he would never make the same mistake again, he had Jared now. He certainly wasn’t going to fuck around with him. Turning his gaze down at his bunched fists and sure footed stance, he wondered if he should hit Alex again, just for the kick. For now, he held back.

Holly had just come out of her art class for the day, it was her favourite class and it always cheered her up and mad her feel happy. She walked down the corridor carrying her art folder, full of her drawings, close to her chest with her blonde hair flowing about as she walked with a smile on her face. She had so many things to be happy about these days. She walked into the locker hallway and noticed alot of other people staring about, whispering to each other and a few people in a crowd nearer the bottom of the corridor. She wanted to know what was going on and she walked down to the small crowd and being as small as she is she managed to fit easily between the people in the crowd. What she saw made her cringe, feel really angry and want to scream. Her two best friends fighting like cat and dog, shouting at each other. She threw her art folder over to the window sill and was glad that it landed and never fell to the floor. She ran in between them, looking up at Ryuu and her back to Alex. "What in the hell do you think you're doing!" she shouted

Alex looked rather smug as the force of his punch had ended up with Ryuu doubled over in pain, he didn't even seem to realise what he'd done. They were best friends. He kept his eyes narrowed as Ryuu spoke, to be honest he really couldn't care right now, he'd even forgotten what started this huge argument. Oh yeah; the kissing incident, and falling out with Dakota. "I have a perfectly good excuse to hold a grudge against you" He spat, folding his arms, his sleeve covered in blood.
He was surprised to see Holly walk over, what a coincidence. But he was actually pretty thankful, he didn't really want to fight with Ryuu physically. Deciding not to say anything, he kept his arms folded, and looked away from her accusing eyes.

Ryuu snorted, and spat to the right. “What, your girlfriend’s insecure because you can’t control your actions after two pints?” he sneered, conveniently leaving out that it was him who had started the whole thing in the first place. If Alex had been smart, he’d have just told him no. Plain and simple. Ryuu’s mind didn’t seem to comprehend that he couldn’t just go snogging every guy he liked. Life didn’t work like that, but Ryuu always bent the rules. This time it appeared he’d bent them a tad too far.
The sound of people grumbling indignantly about getting pushed aside made Ryuu look round. ‘Fuck,’ was all his mind could come up with. He relaxed his stance, and looked shamefully at the blood on his hand, then up at Holly. “I…Um…” Ryuu wasn’t really sure how to explain himself, and he looked away, feeling incredibly stupid.

Holly looked up at Ryuu, looking for an explanation. If there was ever anybody fighting she would always break them up, especially if it was two of her best friends. She couldn't even figure what this was about, they always seemed like good friends to each other- obviously she was wrong. "Well......?" she asked with an authorative tone. She may be small but she could some across as quite scary when she wanted, sometimes she even thought that if it came to it she could intimidate Liam and he was a giant compared to her. She turned around to look at Alex to see if he would say anything. He was just standing against the lockers with a smug look on his face and she had an urge to wipe it off of him with a smack across the face. Athough she noticed his bloody nose and she bit her lip slightly, who could Ryuu do that to anybody? She walked over to alex and placed a hand on his shoulder and looked up at him. "God, Alex, are you alright?" she asked sympathetically

Alex kept his arms folded and his mouth shut, he was definitely not going to explain himself, he had decided to leave that to Ryuu. As Holly came over to him, he didn't know whether she was angry or not, the look on her face seemed ready to bite his head of, but when she asked him if she was okay, he sighed, and smiled. With his right sleeve again, he wiped his nose, which was incredibly painful, but he wouldn't show it. "I'm fine" He muttered, not meaning to sound so harsh, but he gave her a thankful smile back in return for asking. He turned his gaze to Ryuu, should he feel bad, because to be honest he did, but what had happened had already happened now.
