Evan had walked into school earlier than usual today, he wasn't really fussed though. Athough it was raning outside so he didn't really want to stand outside and wait for the rest of his friends, he would find them eventually. His first class of the day was English, he wasn't really bothered about English. Some of the words didn't make much sense to him but he could still speak the language which was enough for him, coming from Paris and all. Dressed in tight black jeans and a white shirt, his usual attire, he walked slowly into the classroom with his black shoulder bag swaying. He walked into the class and found his seat at the back of the classroom. Evan was never a person to sit at the front of the classroom, he didn't want to seem too eager and it was usually the geeks and stuff that sat at the front and Evan was no such thing. He sat in his seat, looked at the clock and sill found that there was almost 30 minutes left before school started, he just sat back in his chair and stared at the tiles on the ceiling.

take awaythe G L A M O U R take away the M I R R O R S the L I M O the L I G H T S see me in my old blue jeans!Avery had gotten up late that morning. She'd had no time, well some time but definately not enough. She managed to throw a bagel in the toaster and pull some clothes on in time to get to class. She'd literally grabbed the bagel and her shoulder bag on her way out the door. She was sure she'd forgotten something and she realized what it was as she walked into her Senior English class. (She was in advanced english classes because of her skills in writing.) It was her homework. She dropped her bag down by her chair and slumped into the seat with a groan. "Shit." She muttered, banging her fist quietly on the table. This was an omen, today would not be good.

Evan was broken from his reviere when he heard somebody banging on a table, he didn't even hear or see them coming in he was so lost in his own little world. He looked up to see the prettiest girl he had seen in a long time. He knew she was a girl from his class, he just never really talked to her much. he found it strange too, that a girl as young as her was in his English class, he didn't think she looked 17 or 18, just slightly younger maybe 15 or 16. He looked up quickly andstood from his seat to walk over to her desk, he sat on the desk to the left of her and looked at her curiously. she didn't look too happy. "What's up?" he asked in concern

Avery took a deep breath and closed her eyes, letting her head fall on to the desk behind hers. As far as she had noticed no one was there when she'd walked in. She was, of course, wrong. And she knew it as soon as she heard the shuffling of footsteps. She straightened up and made a point not to look round as to see who it was. It would make her seem less... desperately wanting to talk to someone. She was one of those people who vented. And she needed to right now, but she wouldn't to this potential stranger. She'd save it for her roommate. She always listened. She looked to her left as she heard a voice and smiled weakly. Great, just what she needed. That cute guy she'd noticed since the first day and never had the spine to talk to was asking what was wrong now. Yeah today was going to be reaaaaal good. Sarcasm. "I forgot my homework again."

Evan wanted to laugh when she told him that she had forgotten her homework, he was never really one for doing homework. He though it was cute though, that she fussed over not having her homework with her. He was going to laugh but decided not to, he didn't like to make people feel worse than they already were. " It's only homework, dont worry 'bout it" he smiled a little "So what's you name pretty lady?, I forget" he laughed a little. Sometimes things went in one ear and out the other with him. He wanted to cheer this girl up, he hated seeing people who looked upset. Although the charmer, he always had the wellfare of people at heart.

Avery saw a trace of a smile on his face, and maybe he was just happy, but she was cranky and tended not to think so. She thought, but only slightly, that he was taking some kind of joy from her situation. "No. It isn't just homework. If I forget it much more, I fail out of the class. And I worked really hard on that paper. I stayed up all night and for what? To forget it... And my name's Avery. Although I don't see why you really care..." She didn't catch the "pretty" bit. Normally she would have been over the moon but as far as she could tell, without the homework she was six feet under.
ooc; i apologize for crappiness

Evan felt a slight sympathy for the younger girl, maybe she felt the load of homework harder than the older students, maybe it was harder for her than the rest of them. "Don't fret about it, seriously. I'm sure you can hand it in tomorrow or something" When she told him her name it came back to him, he was so forgetful of information that he didn't find very important at the time. "Avery?, Avery Parker, right?" he asked enthusiastically
ooc: don't worry lol, I cant seem to write much haha, they're all so short

It wasn't harder for her, it was easier. She could write a twelve page story in five minutes, most people it took weeks. That's why she was so far ahead in english. She felt the pressure of it a little more because, when in advanced classes, if you get a C they kick you out. Everyone else can get whatever cause they have to be in the class, but they want underclassmen to do really well to get the credit and if you're doing not so good, you're gone. It's a lot of pressure and she was in two advance classes. "Yeah that's me. You're Evan right?" She knew she was right, she'd thought he was cute all year long. But she had to not seem like it. She pulled her bag up into her lap and started leafing through loose papers and notebooks, maybe the homework was, by some impossible chance, in there. She looked up at him. "Go on, I swear I'm listening..."

Evan looked at Avery and he felt a strong sympathy for her, he would never know what it was like- having to take a higher class than he was already in. He thought it was sweet too, thet she remembered his name but who didn't know his name? he was a popular character around the school, always with an entourage of girls follwing him, he found it quite funny. He watched as she filed through her bag, despartately looking for her forgotten homework. He had an urge to take her bag from her and tell her to calm down but he wasn't that kind of guy, most of the time. He would rather have somebody vent their feelings so that they wouldn't come out in other ways. "yeah I'm Evan" he said with a smile "what you in so early for anyway?" he asked, intrigued by the girl.

Avery didn't notice as he smiled or whatever, she didn't care. She knew she'd gotten his name right, she had that small crush on him. She wouldn't forget his name. But then again, he would forget hers because everyone had a crush on him. To him, she knew she was just another little girl who smiled too much at him. When he said something about her being early she was shocked. She facepalmed then took a deep breath. "I'm early? Are you fucking kidding me?"

Evan couldn't help it any more and he started to laugh. He knew that it wasn't very fair to laugh at her but she was being so comical without realising it. "Yip, you're just a bit early" she smirked his heart melting smirk as he leaned back against the desk behind him. "Why'd you think there is nobody else here?..I mean duh" he laughed "Although it does give me the chance to talk to the pretty girls in ths class" he smiled He used a hypothetical, general phrase. He liked to use them, he thought it was amusing to watch people work them out. He wondered if she knew that he was talking abot her.

Avery looked up at him, one eyebrow raised in confusion. "What are you laughing at..." She muttered. Giving up on looking for her paper and putting the bag on the floor again. She pulled her legs up so she was sitting with her legs crossed in her chair. She could never stand sitting like a normal person. She let his laughter go and was so close to slamming her head against the desk. "I ran out of my dorm in about five seconds because i thought i was late... Damn the clocks in my dorm. Ugh." She ran a hand through her hair, she wasn't really listening to him so she didn't catch the pretty girls bit. Not that she would have cared. Once again, normally she would have been over the moon but the homework thing and now the late / early thing just had her off somewhere else.

Evan half sat on the desk next to Avery, slightly shocked at himself. was his charm not working? was he loosing his touch? Usually every girl he saw or that saw him fell for him but this girl was completly ignoring him. Although he found it amusing that she seemed uptight about her homework. "I'm laughing at you; you beautiful, silly oversensitive girl" he laughed with a smirk "and I think it's time you fix those clocks then"
ooc: I just had to use a Twilight quote lol

Avery shrugged off his flattery. He wouldn't work that easily on her, she had her pride too. "Flattery won't get you anywhere, you overconfident, overly-goodlooking, and overly wrong boy." She smirked at him. That's right, two could play his game. She wouldn't fall for it, he did it to everyone which means he obviously never meant it. She turned back to her desk, hearing him talk about the clocks. Yeah, she probably should.
ooc sorry for shortness idk whats up with me ):

Evan Laughed again. He thought girls were strange at times, why do none of them accept a compliment? He had learned that not many girls like compliments because he had recieved so many slaps in some form or another. "I may be overconfident and overly-good looking..." he laughed "...but I'm definetly not overly wrong" Out of all the girls that he liked and had seen around the school Avery was the one that stood out the most, he thought- in his opinion- that she was the cutest girl in ths school. Sure there were lots of girls he would describe as hott but he felt like Avery was special. Although he knew that she wouldn't believe him beacuse he gave loads of compliments to other girls just like the one he had given her. " Maybe I'm wrong about the oversensitive thing" he muttered " but you're definetly beautiful" she smiled a genuine smile
