Dakota signed out of her computer and crossed her room. She was still pretty mad at Alex for making out with Ryuu.. Like, if he was kissing Ryuu, who else was he kissing? And yeah, he had said he loved her, but they had just got in a huge fight. She threw on a pair of black shorts,a shirt, and her flats. She walked out the door, not bothering to lock it. Her roommates would be back soon.. She decided not to drive, knowing she probably wouldn't be able to drive back anyways. She walked in, not even paying attention to security. They knew her, she came here a lot. She made her way towards the bar, pushing past a couple making out and a really drunk guy asking her how she was. She sat down on the stool and said "A beer, please." She ran her hand through her hair. She had forgotten to do it.. oh well. It looked decent. The big bartender gave her a beer and she took a big gulp of it.

Tyler Keller parked his black Hummer in the back of the club, and got out of his ride. Today Ty had chose to wear a dark blue slim fitting tee shirt and denim jeans. The outfit was nothing special. Just a random selection for the day. He walked towards the club doors. Tyler had entered many times before, so the guards knew him pretty well. He headed straight over to the bar, next to a girl with blonde hair. Not noticing it was Dakota Woods, a girl he liked for many years, Tyler ordered the usual beer. The bartender took his order and said, “Same as the cutie next to yah.” Tyler glanced over and realized that the blonde was Dakota. Aw shit. The two were currently on shaky ground. Or at least that’s what Tyler thought. “Hey.” He said quietly, as the bartender brought him his drink. “Thanks.” Ty said, waiting for a reply from Kota.

Dakota felt her cheeks flush slightly at the sound of Tyler's voice. She turned towards him and said "Hey. What brings you here?" She took a drink of her beer, not paying attention to the bartender watching them. "And you.. here without a girl? That's shocking." She started to roll her eyes, but stopped herself. She didn't want to fight with anyone else in the next week. She had been fighting with way too many people. and now it was kind of annoying. She ran her hand through her hair, anxiously waiting for his reply.

Tyler was glad that Dakota decided to actually talk to him. He would've thought she would reply with a one word answer or just not answer him at all. "Um, nothing much. I was just bored at home. My friend Delilah told me I should really get out more. I took her advice." Ty replied to her, glancing over at her. He wondered how her and Alex were doing. Last time he checked, the two were okay, but not in the best situation. After Tyler heard Dakota's last comment, he was surprised. He thought that Kota got over what he said. Apparenly not. He sighed, and answered her question/statement. "Eh, I don't really have a girlfriend. Surprising isn't it?" He replied, kind of mockingly. "Where's Alex at?" Tyler asked, looking around the club. Wouldn't her own boyfriend come and hang out with her when she went out?

Dakota raised one eyebrow and said "You? Not getting out enough? Have you been sick?" She knew she wasn't being the nicest person in the world but she was in a really bad mood. She took another gulp of her beer, finishing it off and motioning for another one before saying "Shocking." She clenched her jaw when he asked about her and Alex. They weren't doing so well. "Well.. Me and him, we aren't really doing good. Well.. Right now anyways." She paused, sighing. "He made out with his best friend while he was drunk so that makes me wonder who else he's making out with. And he didn't even tell me. I had to hear from everyone else. And he told me he loves me."

"Yeah, shocking, whatever." Tyler replied, taking a long sip of his beer. It tasted good, and he was positive he would have oh, at least three more. Beer was Tyler's friend, especially in situations like these. "I just don't feel like going out anymore. It gets old after awhile." He sighed, looking over at Dakota. Tyler heard the little story, and told her, "Yeah, I heard. Everyone knows. Wasn't it with Ryuu?"
Tyler glanced down at the beer in front of him. He didn't understand why a guy would want to make out with another guy when he had the hottest girl in school as his girlfriend. Alex must of been dropped on his head at birth. "I doubt he loves you, no offence." Tyler said quietly. He hoped that that didn't hurt her feelings anymore. She looked really depressed anyways.

Dakota nodded and said " I know what you mean. I haven't been out since.. that party a really long time ago." She rolled her eyes when he said everyone knew "I know. That's how I found out. Not from my boyfriend. I had to ask him about it. Yeah. That boy sure does get around." She paused thoughtfully and continued "But I heard he's gay now." After taking a sip of the fresh beer that was sitting in front if her, she said "I don't know. He says he does.. but he doesn't act like it. You know?" She could feel the alcohol starting to do it's job. She had always been a lightweight.. It's not like she was wasted, but she could feel her head starting to spin. She gulp down about half of the beer that was left, sighing.

Tyler ran his fingers through his brown, shaggy hair. He really wished he could help Dakota out, but everything he thought of sounded stupid to him. “Yeah, life’s been boring lately, No drama for me. I guess that’s quite the opposite for you…” Ty leaned his elbows on the bar. The alcohol was slowly getting to him. If he kept on drinking, no doubt he would be plastered by the end of the night. “Guys can be like that. They say one thing and mean something totally different.” Tyler was referring to Alex and to himself. Like when he called Dakota slut. If Dakota was a slut, the sky has to be neon pink. Which will never happen. Dakota is a sweet girl, really she is.

Dakota sighed. "I hate drama. But I always have a lot of it." She drank the rest of her beer and stood up. "Let's dance." She wanted to forget about all the drama that had taken her life over recently, and for some reason, Tyler always made her forget everything. "Why can't guys just say what they mean? Things would be so much easier that way." She grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the dance floor.

“What do you mean? I love drama. Best thing about high school.” Tyler sneered, gulping down the rest of his beer. He really wanted another one, but Dakota wanted to dance. “Guys are too idiotic to do that Kota.” He smiled, squeezing her hand lightly. It was really nice to be around Dakota once again. They were good friends before the small fight earlier in the school year. Tyler hoped that his words didn’t hurt Kota as much as they should have. Hopefully Dakota was strong and could see past the hurt Tyler encountered when Alex and Dakota started dating. Tyler always liked Dakota, a lot.

"Well maybe guys shouldn't be idiots." She said, a slight smile on her lips. Once they reached the dance floor, Dakota smirked at him, moving her hips to the beat of the song. She looked up at Tyler, remembering why she had liked him so much. People would probably like them together more than they like her and Alex. She could see why.. It was the stupid social ladder of high school. "Hey Tyler.. Why did you wait until after I had a boyfriend to tell me you like me?" Recently she had been wondering that a lot.. But maybe it was just because of what was going on with her and Alex..

“They really shouldn’t be. It would help a lot.” Tyler laughed, swinging his hips (haha sorry that image made me laugh) to the music which was blasting over the speakers. He couldn’t recognize the song. But that was not a surprise. Unlike the rest of the teenage population, Tyler wasn’t obsessed with music. Sports were more of his thing. “Um because guys are idiots, remember?” Tyler replied, wondering why he did wait that long. “And rejection. I hate rejection.” He told her, still dancing with the beat.

Dakota nodded. "It would help a lot. I wouldn't have to wonder." She watched him, listening to what he was saying. So rejection.. "Didn't you know I wouldn't have said no to you?" She paused, moving closer to him so it would be easier for him to hear. "Everyone knew that I liked you. A lot. Except for you of course. Cause all guys are idiots."

Tyler continued to dance to the music, but closely listened to Dakota. “I thought we were just friends… really good friends.” Ty sighed, feeling like a complete idiot. He should have known that Kota was into him. Why didn’t Tyler just ask Dakota out? He was fine asking any other girl out. In fact, he was quite good at it. Maybe because Tyler actually had feelings for her. The other girls, he just thought were hot. “You could have asked me too. That would have been amazing, Dakota.” He smiled, imagining the girl ask him out. Now that would have been incredible.

"Wel"We were really good friends.. But we could have been more." Dakota smiled at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. Dakota laughed and said "Right. Cause I was really gonna ask out the guy who could have almost any girl he wanted. I didn't think you liked me." She paused again and then continued, "I thought you just thought of me like.. a little sister you could hook up with.."
