"Yeah. I went to the beaches when I lived in New York, before I moved here." Dakota said, leaning against a locker.

"You lived in New York?! I love it there. Broadway is the most amazing district of the world." She smiled even bigger, if that was possible. "I was born and raised in this tiny town in Canada that had like 1,000 people in it. It was nice. Then I went to California up until the beginning of this year. I think I really like it here." She smiled, this girl had a lot in common with her.

"I love Broadway!" Dakota said. "I would die if I ever lived in a small town." Dakota said, laughing.

"Small towns are actually pretty nice, I was young when I lived there but one day i would love to go back." She shrugged, remembering her bag was on the ground. she picked up the strap and slung it over her shoulder. It was considerably lighter from before she put her book in the locker. Thank God for lockers. "Broadway is amazing, that's what I want to be when I 'grow up'." She put 'air quotes' around grow up.

"Really?" Dakota said "I'll go see you. I want to go to the Olympics. And honestly, I have no idea what I'm going to do after that. I'm not all that smart. Well, I could be. I just concentrate on tumbling too much."

Delaney laughed, Dakota was being realy nice to her and she liked it. "Sounds like a fair trade, you come see me on broadway and I'll come cheer you on at the Olympics. I have good grades. I guess, I'm blessed because I'll never have to worry too much about that." She smiled.

"Same, kind of. I wish I could do my work when I wanted, kind of like college. So it's on my schedule, not the world's." She smiled.

"Yeah, that would be so much easier." Dakota sighed, then continued "I wish you could go to school for what you wanted to do."

"So you basically just wish you were in college!" Delaney laughed, this girl was like her mental twin, she kind of liked it. She had only just met her but she felt close to her because they shared the same ideals.

"Me too a little bit, I'd be old enough to do a lot more of the things I want to do." She smiled, Delaney liked the idea of college and she mostly liked the idea of freedom. She hated schedules and the way that they tie you down, she is one of those free-spirited people who just need to do their own thing. Maybe that's why she's never been part of a proper couple...

'Like what?" Dakota asked, curious. "I wish I was old enough.. to.. I don't know.. I pretty much can do whatever I want.. Well, maybe not for long. My parent's are threatening to cut me off cause they don't like my boyfriend."

"To work summers in Orlando at Disney. You have to be 18 to be in parades or dance there." She tried to think of more but nothing came. Sometimes Delaney was.... simpleminded. "That's not good. Your boyfriend's Alex, right? I can't see how anyone could not like him. He's a little weird but he's so nice. And he must be great to you." She smiled.

"Oh, that would be fun. I would love to be Cinderella." Dakota said, smiling.
"Yeah. He's wonderful. My parent's aren't very accepting. They don't really care if I'm happy as long as I'm dating a pretty boy and I'm still winning trophies." Dakota said.
