"Okay well it looks like there's no way around this one." Delaney laughed. She was happy to hear that Alex and Dakota weren't breaking up. They were such great contrast around each other and they seemed to really like each other, and she would hate to see that die. "He's this senior. His name is Ryan..."

"Well I guess that's good to know?" Delaney hated how she phrased this as a question. It really was good to know that he wasn't that type. She had experimented with one of them in a year passed and had her heart abseloutly trampled on by him.

"Yeah. He's actually a pretty decent guy.. except for getting in a fight with all my boyfriends.." Dakota said.
Ryan walked up behind Dakota and covered her eyes with his hands and said "Guess who?"
Shoe thought for a minute and said "Cookie monster?"
"Close. But no." He said, dropping his hands and standing by them. He noticed Delany and smiled at her."Hey."

"I heard about that little tiff with Alex... news about you two travels pretty darn fast!" Delaney laughed. It did, she had heard so much stuff about the both of them, both true and bogus that she couldn't tell which was which sometimes. "Well at least you can rule out him liking you like that Tyler!"
Just then he walked up. What a nightmare... She thought, then realized that it could be turned into an oppurtunity. Pessimistic-ism wasn't always the way to go. Actually, it almost never was... She laughed as Dakota asked if Ryan was the cookie monster. As he smiled at her, it was contagious and her smile grew a mile as well. He greeted her and she thought she would die. "Hey! How have you been? I haven't seen you in quite a while."

Delaney laughed, it was so juvinille how some people could pass judgement on someone they didn't know. It seemed so dumb to her. "I don't hate you together, you're a fine match. You fit together well." She smiled. And it wasn't just flattery, it was true. She loved them as a couple, and never could have seen him with Rachel. She's much better off with Joe anyway...
"I'm great, now." Delaney giggled, trying to supress it but failing. Her hand somehow found itself spinning the end of her hair like some lovestruck teenager.... oh wait, that sounds about right. So she had no excise for that one.
