Delaney thought it would be easier if she did it in the reverse order of how she wanted to. It would made more sense. "Well, I was talking to Dakota about all of this and she said that if I ever did end up actually going out with you... that I should keep you on a tight leash. And... I kind of don't want to believe that, because I really like you." She got up on tip toe and kissed Ryan on the cheek.

"Well, Dakota knows me better than anyone and she's probably right." Ryan said. "I mean, I really like you but I do tend to .. stray away from girlfriends." He blushed slightly. Something he hadn't done in forever. He kissed her nose and grinned at her.

Delaney listened but couldn't help her face dropping when he finished. He kissed her but did it even matter? He admitted that he's a cheat, and sure she could jump into this thing head first but that would be stupid because now she even knew he would only end up hurting her. "I just worry a little bit that you see me as more of a little sister than a romantic figure..."

Delaney swooned at Ryan's touch, somehow it made her feel a lot better. Comforting. She closed her eyes and just spoke, somehow it made the next move a little easier. "This is the part where, against all my better judgement, I agree to go out with you. Because I like you and you like me and I just want this to be simple..." She opened her eyes and saw him right there and something in that moment just felt so right to her... like another piece of the puzzle was in place.

Delaney smiled back up until he kissed her. This just made her laugh out loud, not because she wanted to make him feel bad but because... well she didn't know, she was just so happy that laughing seemed like the only way to express it. "Come on, you can do better than that." She rolled her eyes a little bit and grabbed the neck of his shirt, pulling him toward her until their lips met. That's better.
