Holly had walked from the courtyard to the park, it was her favourite place to come and she came here alot, just sitting in peace until she spotted somebody she knew.
She was waiting on Reagan coming to meet her. She had sent Reagan on a hunt to find out if Liam liked her as much as she liked him and Holly wanted to know. She knew she didn;t have a chance, but it was worth a shot...right?
She was quietly spinngin herself on the roundabout with her feet draging along the ground while listening to 'Porcelain and the Tramps' on her Ipod and she had it really loud as usual...she was waiting for Reagan to meet her. |

Reagan swung her small lime green shoulder bag over he shoulder, checking she had her phone, ipod, keys and purse.
She fixed her orange t-shirt as she stood up, and began to walk towards the park to find Holly. What on earth was she going to say?
She thought over many ideas in her head, not concentrating on where she was going, by the time she had looked up she noticed Holly was only a few metres away.
Reagan shook her blonde hair, and ran over, jumping up onto the slowly spinning roundabout, "Hi" She said, with a fake smile.

Holly continued to sit on the roundabout, not really noticing anybody around her, the park wasn't very busy. The song she was listening to had just finished and she felt somebody else jump onto the roundabout with her, she turned around to notice Reagan smiling at her.
"Hey Regz!" She half shouted happily and gave her a huge best friends forever hug.
"So..your smiling" she said slowly
"good news?" she asked intrigued

Reagan's face dropped, the smile fading from her lips.
But still she tried to look happy, as she hugged Holly back, much tighter than usual, as if she didn't want to loose her.
She shrugged, "I don't know" She muttered, sitting down beside her. "I think he likes someone else but I'm not sure" She said, making something decent up as she went along, not wanting to hurt her best friend. But would a lie hurt more than the truth?

Holly looked at Reagan a little confused, she didn't understand why her best friend was being so hessitant, this was not like her at all.
"What do you mean you don't know?" she asked slowly
When Reagan to told her that he liked somebody else she felt heartbroken, it felt as if somebody just sucked the air out of her and she couldn't breathe. They only guy she really loved in the 2 years she had been to Watson liked somebody else.
"oh" was all that could escape her mouth
Holly hung her head slowly as a slow teardrop rolled down her face.
"I knew I had no chance" she said quietly to herself

Reagan closed her eyes for a split second, wanting the ground to just swallow her up, maybe it would have been better if she had stayed at home and behaved.
She fiddled with her hair nervously, "Well.. he.." She stopped, not physically being able to say anything more. She looked away. "Of course you had a chance" She said, positively, trying to be optimistic.

Holly sighed as she tried to wipe the tears that wouldn't stop rolling down her face, she swore to herself after her last boyfriend broke up with her in Canada that she would never cry over a boy again, yet it didn't seem to work.
"well he...what?" Holly asked loudly as she jumped off the roundabout and stood in front of her best friend
"A chance?...yeah I had a chance Regan..don't make me laugh" Holly said with slight mock

Reagan watched as her best friend fell to tears. She got down of the roundabout, feeling slightly dizzy, but that wasn't because of the spinning.
She stood infront of her, "Look I didn't know.." She began, then she looked to her left, and repeated herself rather quickly; "I didn't know he liked me!" She said rather loudly, she so badly wanted to disappear, "and I didn't know I liked him.." She said quietly.

Holly managed to clear up her tears as much as she could with the odd one or two still running down her cheeks.
Holly was really confused at Reagan's comment, she couldn't really understand.
"what do you mean he likes you?" she asked slowly and confused
Holly thought about it for a minute and she heard Reagan say that she liked him.
She slowly slightly understood and she felt dizzy and she began to get a headache.
"Oh..I see how it is!" she shouted
"I tell you that I like some guy and you just have to go after him...well forget it Reagan..some best friend you are" she said as her tears started to flow again
She turned around and attempted to walk away but found that she was in shock and her feet wouldn't move.

Reagan hated seeing Holly like this, "Holly its not like that!" She yelled, walking closer to her. "I've known him just as long as you have, I just didn't know how I felt..." She explained, she had expected her reaction to be like this.
"It's not my fault" She said quietly, then she looked up again, "You were the one that wanted me to go and talk to him!!" She snapped suddenly.

Holly didn't want to be angry at her best friend, but she couldn't help it. Holly had a side to her that she didn't show much but she felt like bringing it right out and screaming her head off, but she remained composed.
"yeah..not like that" Holly said with a mocked tone as she crossed her arms in front of her chest
"Not your fault..huh?" she asked
"well you know what Reagan?, your welcome to him!" she shouted as she began to walk away slowly as she put the hood on her purple hoodie up over her head. She just knew that she had lost two of her best friends.
occ: I am a dramaist or what? hehe, I do wite my own novella's so I'm used to drama haha
