The libary...a place of reading and of work...that was what the libaries in England were like, it was somewhat different here.
Chris walked into the libary, for some reason it was empty, only two people were in, sitting at the computers, working. The popular moved towards some shelves, looking for the book he wanted, Chris wasn't in to horse racing as a sport, but loved the tales of famous race horses, like Best Mate, and Red Rum in England.
He found the book by the English author, Jenny Pitman, and walked over to a table, sitting down on it and opened the paper back, starting to read.

Astoria had her black ring binder, which was covered with various stickers of bands she loved; most including My Chemical Romance, All Time Low and Madina Lake.
She entered the quiet library, looking somewhere quiet to concentrate on her composition. She noticed Christian over on an empty table. She smiled, they sometimes talked to each other, she didn't know him that well.
She walked over and took a seat across from him. "Hey" she said politely with a smile.

Chris didn't speak for a minute until he got to the end of the chapter, then looked up, seeing Astoria in front of him, yes, he knew her from around, he didn't know much about her either.
"Oh heya." he said, smiling, "How are you?" he asked putting down his book, marking the page with a bit of paper.

Astoria opened her binder, it was full with so much sheet music for her piano pieces and messy note paper with lyrics scrawled all over it.
"I'm great thank you" She said with a smile, "Yourself?" She asked, returning the question, as you do. "What's that your reading?" she asked sounding genuinely interested.

"I'm good thanks." Chris said, giving her a smile and then realized he was asking her a question, looking down at the book, he handed it to her.
"Its called Danger Over The Edge, by Jenny Pitman, she was a horse racing trainer in England, thats were I live, and she now writes books based around her experances." he said smiling.

Astoria read the blurb of the book while he explained, tracing the picture with her fingers. "Sounds cool" She smiled, handing it back to him, careful not to let the marked page get lost. "Your from England? Awesome!" She laughed, she should have known that, his accent wasn't as strong as hers and others int he school.

"Yes, I am." Chris said nodding, "The north of England mainly. Hull and Newcastle, I wasn't born there but I lived there most of my life." Chris said smiling and taking the book back.
"Are you from England as well?" he asked intrested to know as he wanted to find out about people around here.

"Interesting, did you move over here for school?" She asked with a smile, "I've always wanted to go to England, well the United Kingdom in general, I've been stuck in America my entire life" She laughed, flicking the pages in her binder.
She looked up at him, "Nah" She said with a shake of her head, "I'm from Franklin" She smiled.

"I came here after my mother...was killed...in a accident, my father couldn't cope so he sent me here and my sister to a boarding school in France, I suppose it was grief." Chris didn't mind taking about his father and mother like this, he had got used to it for some many years.
"But on the brighter side, I've always wanted to come here, America is amazing, the UK is just dull and rainy. I've been here since Freshman."

"Oh" Astoria said quietly, quite surprised he would just tell her about it, but it was good he was open about it. She smiled gently, deciding not to say the usual 'sorry' because that was what everyone would say.
"Dull and rainy" Astoria laughed, "Sounds even more exciting" She said, slightly sarcastic.

Astoria smiled, "Most people seem to prefer other places than where they actually come from" She stated, it was true, well as far as she knew, whenever she spoke to anyone, they always wanted to move somewhere else or something along those lines.
She turned the page of her folder, trying to find a certain piece in particular.

"So, whats going on with you and lover boy Danni?" Chris got to the point, he had bust in on the two of them by mistake.
"I wanna know, he seems all secertive, I can understand as he hates me." Chris said, shrugging and putting the book into his bag.

Astoria felt herself going red and she tried to hide it, she had hoped he wouldn't bring that up. She didn't even know why she always got embarrassed and nervous when it was mentioned. No one was supposed to know she liked Danni. Guess that one didn't work out.
She shrugged, "Nothing" She said simply, not knowing what he wanted to hear. She tried changing the subject, "Why does he hate you?"

"Oh yes there is." Chris said, smirking but not pressing the subject as he felt that Astoria didn't seem conftible with it. He then listened to what she said. "Why does he hate me?" Chris asked, thinking, "I don't really know, maybe cause I'm popular and he gets the impression that I hate Emos cause I'm a popular and goodlooking, why don't you ask him? He will talk more to you about me then to my face."
