Dakota drove out to the beach. She got out of her car and walked out into the sand. It was probably about midnight. "Shit.." Dakota muttered under her breath. She had forgotten her phone. Oh well. This way, no one could find her. She sat down in the sand and took off her shoes. She had no where to sleep. That was not good. She didn't have a best friend. That wasn't good either. She laid down and looked up at the stars. As she went over her and Rachel's last conversation.. new tears rose. She quickly wiped them away. All of this over a guy. Dakota should have just given him up.

Meadow was driving home from a party when she say Dakota's car at the beach. Parking next to her car Meadow kicked her shoes next to her car and ran down the sand path. She saw Dakota lying in the sand. "DAKOTAAA!" Meadow yelled and she ran towards her friend. However, she tripped and skidded up next to her friend. "I'm so freaking clumsy." Then she noticed the tears. "Oh, no. boy drama?" Meadow hugged her friend tight.

Dakota couldn't help but laugh at her friend. Once again, she had cheered her up. "No.. More like best friend trouble. Well, when I think about it.. probably wouldn't have started if the boy was involved."

"Oh boys suck. That's not new. Wait why are you here?" Meadow asked. It was midnight and Meadow herself should be in bed. Her eyes began to flicker shut, but Meadow kept them open.

"Now where to sleep? That's fixed. When we're done here, you can sleep in my dorm. I have an airbed in my closet. You can have the real bed though. You're sad." Meadow said as she wiggled her toes in the sand. "My bed is amazingly comfy I'll have you know."

"I'm not leaving you alone. I've got a blanket in my car, are you cold?" Meadow wanted to go to her car to text Alex. Dakota needed some cheering up.

Damn, foiled by a sweatshirt. Meadow thought to herself. She was wearing her jacket, so she didn't have an excuse. "You sure you're okay?" Meadow asked again. She hated seeing her friends upset.

"Yeah okay." Meadow said. She knew Dakota too well. She took fights to heart. Meadow decided it was time to change the topic. "Oh my god. I was just at this party at Resden and it was craazy.!"

"Oh you know it. Sadly I was the designated driver, so I didn't get anything to drink," Meadow pouted. "But there were plenty of cute boys, and I managed to steal a kiss or two. Or three." Meadow grinned and stretched out her arms. "Next time you're coming and you're the DD."
