"Wow" Alex said in reply, "I guess your both pretty good then" He laughed, "Well obviously..." He said, answering for himself. "I've been playing the guitar since I was nine..." He then added, "I guess thats my.. 'thing'" He laughed, quoting with his fingers.

Alex grinned, "Thats cool" He said to both of them, stretching his legs infront of him. "I've never picked up any other instrument..." Alex shrugged, "Just the one for me" He laughed.

"Well the wood flute is a very traditional flute in Japan, so I had no choice to learn it. But they're very pretty sounding when you get used to the melody." Dontey said with a gentle laugh.

"Don't you love your gymnastics?" Alex asked, sitting crossed legged on the cold gym floor. "I never knew there was such a thing" he laughed, talking about the wooden flute. He lent back, using his elbows as support, and looked around the half empty hall.

"Yeah. In my family it was traditional to learn it. It's just one of my father many...how do you say it, expectancies." Dontey said with a large grin, moving her ankle around, trying to see how hurt it really was.
