Alex stopped himself from shrugging, which was what he usually did when asked a question.
"Seeing as I like you so much..." He said slowly, not really knowing what to say, he had never done this properly.
"I would like you to be my girlfriend.." He finished, making it sound like almost a question he was asking Dakota.
/I'll try my hardest to not mess it up/ He thought in his head, instead of saying it aloud.

Dakota looked into his eyes and said "I'd love that."
She sighed. So much stress had been lifted.
Is that what all this fighting and crying had been about?
She didn't really know what to say after that so she took his hand in hers and slightly smiled at him.

Alex returned the smile and squeezed her hand. He just remember the fight between Rachel and Dakota, oh he hoped they'd make up. Especially now.
He stood up, noticing the time, they had to get up for school in five hours. "You want me to walk you back to your dorm?" He suggested, not really knowing if she wanted to stay or not.

Alex laughed, "Okay" He said, "You can sleep here" He added, he scolded himself inside his head, he hadn't meant to sound so suggestive. For once, Alex didn't want to go to fast.
He crossed his legs on the bed, like he always did.

Dakota layed down and pulled him down. she snuggled close to him and said "You smell amazing."

Alex shrugged, "She'll probably asleep, and it's your dorm as well" He said, lying down next to Dakota.
He laughed, "Thanks..." He smiled, "Just learned how the shower works" He joked.

"Uhhh, smacking, slurping, feet on the table, when people leave stuff in the kitchen." she thought for a minute and continued "Yeah, I think that's all. What annoys you?"

"You'll hate me in the kitchen then" He said with a laugh, "I'm a right mess maker"
He pondered trying to think what annoyed him the most, "When you can never find a pen when you need it... that's annoying"
