Alex felt.. well he didn't know, he had never really felt this way before.
"Oh." He said again, he had never known himself to be this unusually quiet, "Right" He added.
He sat there, directing his gaze elsewhere, trying to think of an actual structured sentence to reply with.

Dakota sighed and said "I'm sorry."
Dakota put her hand on his face and moved his head to face her. She smiled at him slightly and said "I really am sorry."

Alex shook the thoughts out of his head, he shouldn't be feeling like this, I mean he and Dakota were going out, hopefully for a while longer. If she liked Tyler, it didn't matter, not right now.. .he decided.
He smiled back at her, "You don't have to be sorry" he said slowly, reaching out to play with her long hair.

Joe thought about what Alex had said, and he went over to where he was meeting Dakota. He hasn't seen or talked to her in a while. He put his cellular device into her pocket and walked straight towards Dakota and Alex, who were sitting on a bench.

Alex randomly had the urge to kiss her, a part of him eager to prove he was better than Tyler, but that was just him being a normal guy. He lent forward and kissed her on the lips, he pulled away with a smile, and lent back against the tree.
Alex shrugged, "Ive been good, apart from the fight with your cousin" He laughed, "I've had detention the last few days..." He sighed, which explained the reason he hadn't been around to hang out.
He noticed Joe heading towards them, "Hiya" He said simply.

Dakota grinned when he kissed her. It still gave her butterflies in her tummy. She kissed him lightly on his lips and smiled at him. "Ahh.. Detention's no fun."
She noticed Joe and said "Heyy."

"Hey guys." Joe said as he stood in front of them. "How have you been Dakota?" Joe asked her, talking about the fight that she and Rachel had, and since he hasn't he in a while.

"Indeed" Alex said, he hated detention, it was pointless anyway, it only made him realise how much he hated the teachers even more, meaning he was definitely not going to co-operate next time. "Less time to spend with you" He said cheesily and smiled.
Alex looked up at Joe, it was slightly awkward, well... he and Joe were best mates, and roomies, he was going out with Rachel, the ex-best friend and new found enemy of Dakota, who was Alex' girlfriend... he wondered where this conversation would get too.

Dakota blushed slightly and said "Awwww. That's like.. really cute." She kissed him lightly and grinned at him. "I have detention next week for the fight with Rachel. I have 6 days of it. Not gonna be fun." Dakota said, shaking her head and frowning slightly.
Dakota squinted up at Joe and said "Hey buddy. Pretty good. Yourself?"

Alex smiled sympathetically, "Well I'll probably still be in for at least a few more days" He explained, "Guess we'll be stuck, alone in a room together" He shrugged, a smirk on his face. "I was never one for lines" He laughed.

Alex laughed, "It would be a change to actually enjoy detention" He said, pressing his back against the tree, and moving his legs so his knees were near his neck.
He smiled, and looked up at Joe, "Heard about you and Meadow's beach bash thing" He continued, "Who's going?" He asked, he hadn't been to a decent get together in a while. And it would be the first party where he would be on his best behaviour.

Dakota laughed and said "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've never enjoyed detention."
"Oh, yeah. I heard about that. Me and Claure are planning on having a masquerade ball soon." She said, grinning. She loved to host parties.

Alex grinned, "Awesome" He said in reply to Dakota, "I've never been to a ball" He continued, "I get to dance properly like a Prince" He said with a wink at Dakota, was today just Cheesy comment day for him.
