Joe walked to the beach. It was already dark out so the moon shined over the ocean. There wasn't a cloud in the sky so the stars were bright. He walked on the beach and waited for Rachel. How am I going to say this? He thought to himself .

Rachel came running down to the beach, it was dark and hey some people didn't like going into the dark just after watching a horror film. She could see Joe down on the sand hear the water and she came running down towards him.
"Hey Joe, how are you." She said nearly running into him. "Sorry." Rachel said as she slowed down. She was so glad that she was running every afternoon.

"It's okay." Joe said as he put his hands on her shoulders to keep her from falling.Joe smiled down at her. She looks so beautiful.

"Watching a horror movie, scared the hell out of myself." Rachel said with a laugh. "God Chuckie knows how to do that to ya." Rachel said rolling her eyes. "So what did you want to ask?" She said looking back up at him. God she hated being short.

"Didn't I tell him to leave you alone. Oh that Chuckies gonna get it now." He said through gritted teeth, playing around with her. He looked her in the eyes and let his hands fall to his side. "Yeah. I need to tell you something...." Joe said not really finding the words.

"Thanks." She said smiling. Rachel loved how Joe looked after her, no one could be mean to her and get away with it if Joe was around. "Tell me." She said with another Rachel Loves You Smile.

"Well.... I should do this after but I think you'll get the point." Joe said as he titled her head with his hand and leaned down, kissing her. His closed shut, hoping she wouldn't reject him.

Rachel kissed him back, but as soon as the kiss ended she looked at him kind of surprised. She stood there for a second and then looked back up at him and then back to the ground.
"Oh, I think I get the picture." She said quiet stunned. "I think." Rachel ended. Oh, now that was something new. Oh course it's new he hasn't kissed me before...

"I like you," he said as he put his hand on her chin, making her look at him,"a lot." He said as he looked into her eyes once more. Is this her rejecting me? He asked himself.

"OK." Rachel said. She didn't want to be rude or hurtful but the stunned part was still floating around her. "OK. I already said that. Oh." She muttered to herself.
Rachel sat down onto the sand, making sure she wouldn't faint. Now Chuckie didn't fill so scary. Without a word she patted the sand with her hand, as a small invite to sit down next to her.

Joe refused her invitation."If you don't like me then just say so."Joe said with sadness filling his voice. He didn't like to be stringed along. If she didn't like him then she should just say so.

Rachel felt a small tear go down her face, now she knew why she shouldn't go after guys. She looked up at him and tried to smile, but it failed. Everything was falling apart now.
"Please, can you just sit." She asked watching him carefully. "Please." Rachel whispered; now looking out into the ocean. God, now I know why guys don't like me. I'm a wuss and don't answer straight away....

Joe didn't want to hurt her, but he needed to know."Listen I'm going back to my dorm, I guess just call me when you wanna talk." Joe said as he turned around and headed straight for his car in the parking lot. He felt bad for leaving her there. I could've sworn I saw tears in her eyes.

Rachel bursted into tears, she wanted to tell him that she felt the same way. But being the girl she was she was a little scared.
"Please just come back." She said in a normal voice, wanting to Joe to hear her. Another tear slid down her cheek. God I'm a bitch... she thought to herself.

Joe rolled his eyes as he turned back around. Now look what I did. I made her cry. He thought to himself as he walked back towards her. Why am I even going back? He stood in front of her and then squated. He took his fingers and wiped away her tears.
"Now why are you crying?"
