Joes sat at his table, waiting for frappichino to be ready and also waiting on his friend Avery. Outside, it was a nice day. There wasn't a dark cloud in the sky. Joe thought about what happened when he left the library yesterday. I didn't know a thing so that was why he asked Avery out for some coffee.

Avery walked in, walked up to the counter and ordered her usual; Chai Tea and a crossiant. She received it, thanked the counter worker and looked around for Joe. She spotted him and waved. She walked over to his table, set her food down and took a seat. "Whats a goin on?!" She laughed. She could always joke around Joe, he just... got it.

"Nothing is going on with me." Joe said smiling at her. Once they called him, he got up and grabbed his drink, taking a sip of as he came back to the table. he always got the same thing every time he went here.

"Your usual?" Avery asked, she and Joe used to come here all the time and they would always tease each other because they never got anything different. "So what did you do after you left yesterday?"

"Yeah, you know me" Joe said as he leaned back against the chair and crossed his legs. "Uh, I went back to my dorm and put on some music. Music can always help." Joe said smiling at her. And it was true, at least for him it was.

Avery laughed "Some things never do change." She shook her head with a grin. "Well I hope his gut didn't hurt your fist. Cause his face hurt my hand a bit, and his jewels definatley hurt my foot." She paused. "Oh, you missed that. It was... funny." Lie, she felt bad about hurting him but she hoped to break the news to Joe a little bore gently then right then.

"You kicked him there?" Joe said laughing now. Now that is something I should have stayed and watched. He thought as he leaned forward. "So where else did you hurt him at?" Joe asked her curiously.

Avery laughed along with Joe, she could read his thoughts from his face. "Nowhere, we talked like two civil human beings. I've got him pretty well figured out. So I heard he's rooming with you, is that true?"

"Yeah..." Joe said as he put on a disgusting look on his face. "Why did they put him the same room with me and Alex? Why?" Joe said as he rolled his eyes.

"I really can't answer that, but you don't always know. It might be good for you guys. Espically Alex, what with his anger issues... maybe he'll learn to control it. And maybe you'll learn to see the good in people. Cause there is good in him." Avery smiled. She hoped he didn't suspect it. Okay, so maybe he did. Might as well drop the bomb now, right? "Oay, I have to tell you something. But you have to promise that nothing between us will change and you won't hate me or yell at me. Promise?"

"There is." Avery said, when Joe looked at her funny for suggesting it. "You just have to dig reaaaal deep..." She laughed a little but, mostly because it was totally true, there was a whole lot of good but you had to dig for it.
"Fine then I won't tell you." She said, almost spitefully as he rolld his eyes. "I won't tell you that Whit's great. And wonderful. And that I kissed him. I just won't tell you!" Whoops... she hadn't meant to let any of that slip out. Oops...

"WHAT!" Joe yelled as he pushed the chair out, letting it fall, in anger. How could... Why would.. This didn't make any sense to him what-so-ever.

Avery watched Joe's little freak-out, a little scared about it. Was he really that mad? She got up and went over to pick up his chair. She turned to him and looked him straight in the face. She bit her lip in nervousness....
"What am I supposed to say? I mean... what's worse? The truth or a lie?" Avery asked, wide-eyed, hoping that Joe wouldn't be so mad.
