The evening was rainy, the rain spatted down on the roof tops of the city, and of the Club Sierra, the doors opening for the jolly Friday evening.
Footsteps approched the pub, trainers and jeans, a hoodie top covering the face of Stephen as he walked up to the lightened door. He opened it and went in. The smell of smoke filled his nostriles as he stepped into the dimmly lit room.
The club was already pretty crowed, Stephen took down his hood that had been covering his face from the rain and looked around, people smoking and drinking was what met his eyes.
He moved over to the bar, dodging people, he got up to the counter and ordered a drink, the bar man handed him one ruffly. Stephen payed then went to sit down on a chair, which was by a little cosy table in the corner. He lit a cigerrate like the other people around him, and started to smoke, his silence got him slightly doggy looks from the other men and women around him.

the heart can : F R E E Z E ; or it can : B U R N !Addie had sat in the bar for at least two hours already. She had busted up both of her hands ice skating the say before so she couldn't be at the piano class she was supposed to be at right now. She felt bad for canceling, mostly because she hadn't missed a piano class since she was seven years old and that was only because she had pneumonia. But one of her hands was so hurt and scabbed that opening a bottle of soda made the scabs open up and bleed again. There was no way she could play like that. So she had decided she would get dressed up and go to the bar. Too bad she was alone. She sat there, sipping a virgin strawberry daquri, since she was underage. She was surprised they'd even let her in, she wouldn't turn 18 for two more months... She was thinking about this curious turn of events when her thoughts were interrupted by someone new sitting down at the bar. She looked over at him and smiled. He was really cute. She'd never seen him around before and she wondered if he went to Watson...

Stephen felt someone looking at him, he glanced up and saw a cute looking girl staring over at him. He ran a hand through his hair and smiled weakly then looked back down at his drink. He was pathedic with girls, he had only had his sister around, she was the only female in the house back home. He didn't know the feelings of women that well.
He looked over to her again, sipped his drink, and smiled slightly. "Hi." he said quietly, as if the pub had all gone quiet and looking at them, but it hadn't, it was his imagenation.

Addie sucked with the oposite sex, too. She had no siblings, her dad was always out on a production, she had always gone to girl's schools her whole life, she'd never kissed a guy, and she was still a virgin. Now that level of pathetic just can't be beat. She grinned as he fussed with his hair. It was so cute, she was one of those people who could think the dumbest little habit was just abseloutly adorable. She just always saw the good in people, and that had something to do with it. She saw him smile, at her she guessed, and so she smiled back. She shook her hair out of her eyes as she heard the club seemingly go quiet. She got up form her barstool and walked over to the one next to the boy. He said something so quiet she couldn't really understand it. She just smiled, her pearly whites showing, and spoke. "I'm Addie."

Stephen watched as she came nearer, flattening his hair down as it started to rise slightly. At a closer glance, she was pretty, really pretty in fact. But he knew that he might not be the type for her, she probably had a boyfriend, being so pretty and cute and all.
"I'm Addie."
His face broke into a half smile as she said her name, Addie...Addie... it was a nice name.
"I'm Stephen," he said slightly louder than the last time he had spoken.

Addie had to hold back a girlish giggle as he smothed out his hair. She sensed that he had a little bit of an OCD thing with his hair, he seemed to mess around with it a lot... She forgot about it as she sat down and he smiled wider than she had seen before. His smile made hers grow as well. She didn't even have to think of what to say, it just came to her. "Well Stephen, I think you ought to smile more, because your smile just happens to be very contagious." This was a little strange, Addie normally wasn't this confident upon meeting new people espically cute guys who look way out of her leauge. Her hands rested in her lap and she twiddled her thumbs. It was a nervous habit.

"Well Stephen, I think you ought to smile more, because your smile just happens to be very contagious."
Stephen grinned sheepishly, it was a very nice thing of this girl to say, one that he had just met.
"Thank you," he said, he watched her twiddle her thumbs, he bit his lip and smiled.
"You are very kind" he muttered again, running the hand through his hair and then stopped, as if he knew he had done it too many times.

Addie smiled as he thanked her. She laughed a little. "Don't thank me for the truth." She just looked at him as he looked at her and bit his lip, the absence of words was actually not awkward at all. It was like they didn't need to say anything. It was something you could understand without needing the use of words. Then he spoke up. Addie blushed a little as he complimented her and before she could stop herself it was already out of her mouth. "Well you're very cute." She tried to laugh it off, but the laughter sounded stiffled and awkward. She blushed more and bit the corner of her lip pretty hard. Hahaha he did the hair thing again, this made her smile through her embarrassment.

"Well you're very cute." Stephen looked up at her, genially surprised, ”Thank you, you are not too bad yourself.” he muttered, slightly embarrassed and pleased, “I’ve never been told that before.” His grin was wide, his hand went to his hair again but he let it rest on the table as he knew it was awkward for her and annoying.

Addie smiled as he thanked her again. This kid liked to thank people, he was humble and quiet and shy and it made her smile. She was a little confused at why he looked so surprised. Then he said that no one had told him that before. She couldn't believe it. Someone with such a striking face as his should hear it all the time. When he called her cute, in his own manner of speaking, she blushed a deeper red than any time before then. She was happy that he had said that, even though he was miles and miles out of her leauge. She wanted to say 'you should hear that all the time, it's very true and i wouldn't mind if you kissed me' but this time managed to stop herself from making even more of a fool out of herself. She just grinned. "So tell me about you. I want to hear."

For some reason, Stephen was becoming more open to her, he didn't know why, it was a strange but nice feeling, from being so copped up and distant from the world for so long, he was...finally, coming out of his shell that was the past, the past that still haunted him.
"I have a twin." he said quietly, "But I haven't seen him for a year, he lives in England, well I think he does." the fact was, Stephen didn't know if his twin was still alive, the abrupt disappearance and strange letter he had got didn't really convince him that Harry was anywhere. "He said he was in Manchester, but I haven't heard back since his last letter, he looks like me sept he has black hair." Stephen said looking at her. He then pulled a picture from his pocket. "Here, this is the two of us, I have a sister as well, she is in England with my dad." He handed her the picture; "This was about two years back."
"He is the one with the black hair." Stephen said, pointing his twin out, "and thats me." he said, pointing at himself, sitting on the crates.

Addie listened intently as Stephen talked about his twin. Her heart dropped, he sounded so sad. She didn't like to see other people sad. Even someone she didn't know well, like Stephen. She had said talk about himself, not about his twin. He sounded pretty down about it, and she would never say that outloud anyway, but she thought that if he made missing his twin his life, he would lose himself and not have a personality. He would only be a shell of a person. Not that it isn't okay to miss someone and worry about them, she missed her parents so much she cried sometimes, but if you make it your life then you don't even know who you are. You only know who that other person is, and it isn't going to help you any. She didn't really know, maybe her thoughts just didn't make any sense.
As she looked down at the picture, her eyes became sad. She saw a younger boy, Stephen she thought, and one who looked just like him, but with darker hair. Then a young girl. She knew it was his sister before he said it, they looked very much alike. Well, at least in that picture. To see that he cared so much about people he hadn't seen in so long made her heart swell. It wasn't only her who worried about her family, and missed them so much. She thought it may have been, since most kids were actually happy to be away from their parents. Addie and her parents had been the best of friends and she longed to see them again every moment of every day. She opened her mouth to speak, but didn't really know what to say. "I - wow. Stephen, ...I'm so. Sorry..." She stammered, as she placed her warm hand on top of his cold one. As a comforting gesture.

Stephen watched her expression with slight intrest, he was wondering what she was thinking, was she thinking that it was wrong of him to act in such a way? Or was she sorry for him? Either way, Stephen had a growing crush on her, and he didn't care what she said.
"I - wow. Stephen, ...I'm so. Sorry..."
Stephen bit his lip, and then shrugged, "I don't mind that much." he muttered, "but lets talk about something nicer, sorry if I rambled on abit about the past..." he trailed off, "what about you?" he asked her.

Addie smiled as Stephen bit his lip, she thought it was so adorable. She nodded as he apologized. "Don't be sorry, I understand where you're coming from. My family were my best friends and I haven't seen them since summer. I know how it is." She smiled, her eyes looking straight into his. Her hand was still on top of his, but she had knd of forgotten, since her heat had made his hand less cold and noticable. She didn't give an ounce of thought to it and so her hand remained there. She laughed as he asked about her. She could go on forever, hopefully that didn't sound conceited. "I was born and raised in New York City. My dad was a dancer and my mom was a singer, so I grew up in the fine arts. I've gone to girls schools my whole life except when I cam here in Junior year. I play piano and viola. I sing and I have a lot of training in classical French and Russian ballet. So basically piano and singing are my life." She stopped, hoping she hadn't talked too much and scared him off.

Stephen had suddenly realized that his hand had gone warm, his eyes travelled down to it and saw, surprisingly that Addie's hand was on top of it. He smiled, thinking it best to leave it there. He looked back at her as she talked. "I was born and raised in New York City. My dad was a dancer and my mom was a singer, so I grew up in the fine arts. I've gone to girls schools my whole life except when I cam here in Junior year. I play piano and viola. I sing and I have a lot of training in classical French and Russian ballet. So basically piano and singing are my life."
"You sing piano and sing! wow!" he muttered, "I would like to hear you one day." he said grinning, he looked over the bar, and ordered a drink of water as he was hot. He took a sip from the water and set it down on the table.
