Dominic walked into the courtyard, it was a nice little courtyard, had enough benches, excilent. He sat down on one, no one was around, the sun shone down on him, he was wearing jeans and a blue top, nothing fancy or anything, normal everyday clothes.
He produced a book from his bag which was slung over his shoulder, it was called Forgotten Voices a book on the first world war.
Dom opened it and began to read.

Amber was walking through the courtyard. It was a nice day for being autumn; not too cold, not extremely warm, a nice breeze. She stuffed her hands into her sweatshirt pockets while she continued to walk. She saw random people that she didn't really know playing frizbee and a couple on a bench making out. Sercretly, she was looking for someone she knew. She didn't like being the only one in the park without a companion.
Finally, she spotted Dominic sitting on a bench, reading. Cutting off the path and through some grass, she walked directed into a game of football and had to dodge from getting it with the ball. Some guy checked out her ass, which was clung to tightly by her skinny jeans. She liked being checked out. After the scene, she got to Dom's bench and sat down.
"Whatcha readin'?"

Dom's head went up as he heard a familar voice and a figure move to sit on the bench, it was Amber, he liked Amber, at least it was someone he liked.
"Oh, heya." he said smiling, "Its called Forgotten Voices. Its about the first World War." he said smiling and showing it too her, his voice was calm and smooth and his british accent came through as he spoke. "How are you?" he asked.

Amber took the book out of Dominic's hands, though he probably wasn't actually giving it to her to look at. "I'm alright, I guess," she flipped through the pages. "Kind of bored. It's a nice day, though. I'm glad I found someone I know. It's awkward walking by yourself." She gave the book back and smiled.
"So how are you? Pick up any new chicks Mr. British Accent?"

Dom smiled lightly, "Well, not really, none, they don't seem to like me!" he said in a saddened sort of voice, "what about you?" he asked, putting the book back into his bag, he had someone to talk to now so he didn't need it.
"I'm good anyway." he said smiling.

"The chicks just don't come around like they used to," she looked down and shook her head jokingly. It was true she liked girls, too, but she never really tried to pick any up. "I dunno. I'm just kind of chilling right now. No relationships, just fun. You know, like, hooking up and stuff." She put down her hood and stratched her head through her curly, reddish hair.
"We should go out and party some time. Have you been out partying lately?"

"No I havn't, but yes we really should, it would be fun!" Dom said, nodding and smiling, "do you want to arrange a date then?" he asked her.
He hadn't been partying for ages, and it would be nice if it was with the girl that he liked alot, he smiled and looked away from her. "And no, the chicks don't seem to come round as much!" he said laughing.

Amber didn't know when she was next going to get out, when she would be able to get alcohol, or if anyone else would want to go out and party with her. "I'll let you know when I know about the next party," she said. The football from the game had landed at her feet and she threw it back to one of the guys playing. They laughed because she didn't throw the football right, but she was never one for sports.
"I'm so bored, now," she fidgeted in her seat. She could never seem to sit still...ever. "What do you want to do?"

Dom looked back up at her, nodding, "Yeah please do tell me." he said nodding and smiling, he looked down at his hands, thinking.
"I dunno, go for a walk, go and see some mates? If there are any..." he muttered, looking around, no, he couldn't see anyone he knew, people were milling in and out of the courtyard, not stopping to chat. "Its up to you."

Amber had started bouncing her leg, something she did when she was bored and needed to move around. Quickly, she jumped up and stretched. "We need to take a walk. Sitting is boring." She started skipping away, towards an empty spot on the grass, springing into a cartwheel. After she regained her balanced, she motioned for Dominic to come with her.

Dom rasied his eyebrow even higher as he watched her, then nodded, grabbing his bag and getting up. "Alright you win, lets go." he said coming towards her and following into step with her, he put his bag more nicely on his shoulder so it didn't cut into his skin.
"What do you want to talk about?" he asked.

"Uuuummmm..." Amber spun around while walking, looking up into the sky and biting her lip. "Oh my God! You know what I haven't done in forever?" She jumped up before laying down on her back in the grass. "Watched clouds go by." When she was laying down, it was apparent how skinny Amber was, her zip-up hoodie spreading to show her undershirt, which clung tightly to her body.
"Come lay down with me," she passed her hand over a patch of grass next to her.

Dom shrugged again, seeing how skinny she was, she was extremly skinny, he hadn't realized this for ages, but now that he looked closer...
"W-what?" he asked, not paying attention to her, "Oh right, alright." he said, smiling and lying down next to her staring up at the sky, the clouds passed by, slowely, he laughed, looking at her. "I havn't gone this for ages either." he said smiling, his eyes travelled down her body then back to her eyes, he was checking her out.

Amber was too interested in the cloud to notice Dominic giving her the up-down. She studied them hard for any shapes resembling things she knew. This kept her occupied when she was a child. Sometimes she'd lay out for ages. Doing this now reminded her of how little she'd actually grown up on the inside.
"Once I saw a dolphin above a lake at sunset," she said. "It looked like it was jumping." She traced the outlines of clouds with her finger, her arm pointing straight into the air. She must have seemed crazy to the people walking by, but the thing about Amber was she was never embarrassed for being her immuture, goofy, nerdy self.
"Do you see anything?" she asked Dom, frowning. "I don't see anything."

Dom looked up also, seeing the clouds whiz past, he watched her hand as it moved, seeing the shapes she was drawing. "I don't see anything either." he muttered as he stared hard, "No, no I don't..." he shrugged and looked back at her.
