even cold november rain...
Delilah grabbed her bag, and left her room, closing and locking the door behind her. Both her roommates were currently out, and she didn't feel like sitting in their dorm room alone. She hated being alone. She walked down the hall, and out of the dorms. She actually wasn't sure where she wanted to go.
"Uhm," She breathed, and paused outside the dorm building. It was raining; just her luck. Not that she didn't like the rain, she just wasn't expecting it. Delilah crossed her arms over her chest, and walked through the drizzle. She turned her head, and saw the gym. It was right off of the school. Why not? She walked toward the gym, and stopped again before reaching for the handle. It sounded like there were people in there.
She opened the door, and looked inside. "Oh." It was a sports team it looked like, and they were just about to leave. As Delilah walked in, then all rushed out. A few of them smiled, or said hi. She walked over to a set of bleachers, and climbed up about half way. She set down her bag, and took out her iPod along with a notebook. Delilah had happened to have an english assignment,and the gym was pretty quiet, so why not start?
Delilah put her ear phones on, putting her iPod on shuffle, the first song that started to play was 'Demolition Lovers' by My Chemical romance. She took out her pen, and opened her notebook. Unfortunately, she couldn't think of what to write, so she stared blankly at her paper.

Elana walked into the gym with her cheerleading outfit.. they just had practice outside when it started to rain... She decided to go to the gym and try to watch the basketball team practice, but they weren't in there "just my luck" she said with a frown. She noticed someone sitting in the bleachers "hello there" she said trying to be nice.

Delilah looked up, she had heard the door slam. She pulled out her earphones, letting them sit in her lap. She looked up to see a girl in a cheerleaders outfit. Hey there. The girl had said. "Hello," Delilah said in return, "If you were looking for the basketball team, their gone." She smiled. "I think practice was over, or something."

"Of coarse you can." Delilah smiled, turning off her iPod, and putting it back in her bag. She also shoved her book and pen into her bag. "I'm Delilah." She put her bag on the bleacher in front of her. She knew she would forget it if it wasn't in sight. Thats just how spastic she was. "What brings you here, well besides sports?"

"I think we all like the watching of the guys." She laughed softly. This, was true. Her smile slowly turned to a frown, when she realized the girl was crying. It must have been something horrible, if just a memory could trigger it. "Oh, whats wrong?" Delilah asked, with sympathetic eyes.

"my boyfriend from my other school cheated on me.. that is why i am looking for a guy. You don't know any guys that are single do you?" she said looking over at Delilah. She realized that she was frowning at her so Elana stopped crying, she didn't want to be known as a weak prep

Delilah tried to make her frown a smile once more. She managed to, even if it was sort of a half hearted smile. She hated seeing people cry, it made her feel terrible. Emotions period made her feel terrible. If you felt something for someone and they didn't feel that same something back. Or if someone felt something for you, and you couldn't return that something back. It was horrible, just thinking about it. "Oh, um," She thought for a few moments, "I dont really know a lot of guys."

"thanks anyways" she started laughing as one of the basketball players ran back into the gym. He looked up and smiled at the two of them. Elana waved at him as he ran out he was cute she said laughing

Delilah looked down as a boy ran in and out of the gym. "i think I may have dated him." She laughed, turning back to her, "You'll find someone, trust me." She knew this for a fact, "They come easy here." She forced out a laugh, but really, this was no joke. It was incredibly true. Man whores, and sluts. Occasionally you'll find a caring boy, or girl to share your feelings with, but the rest were all just lies.

"you dated him?" she said with a laugh "I hope I find someone" she said not knowing what she got herself into when she enrolled into the school "you know, you are a really nice girl, and I would be happy if you became one of my friends" she said with a smile. The girl wasnt a punk so she wasn't bothered by the young lady sitting next to her.

"I agree," Delilah smiled softly, "Maybe I could show you around one day, you know, get the insight from a girl who's witnessed the majority of the drama." She laughed slightly. "Where did you move from?"

{{I dont mind at all :] The more the merrier }}
Delilah turned her attention from Elana, over to a boy who was walking through the gym from the locker room. He was on the basketball team, most likely. The whole lot of them had left just ten minutes before. She recognized him, probably from the cafeteria or something. He walked over to the bleachers, and she got a good look at his face, "Ouch." She mumbled, glancing at his face. "I mean, hey." She smiled at him.
"What happened to your face?" Delilah exaggurated the word 'face'. She was a huge big mouth, and couldn't help but blurting it out. "Oh, sorry." She said almost imminently after.
