Reagan watched him silently as she finished her lunch, whatever he was thinking about he was definitely involved, she had to control herself and stop herself from laughing at the look of deep thought and concentration on his face. She thought he looked quite cute. She placed arms in front of her on the table and looked at him. “Who said I was worrying?” She joked, although she actually was, this was very strange coming from the chatterbox beside her. Reagan tapped him repeatedly on the arm, trying to annoy him so he would say something, “Whatever it is, must be quite important to steal your lovely voice” She said with a slight pout, and she acted disappointed.
She smiled widely at him, her white teeth showing, she thought over and over in her head of how she was going to explain about Holly. For once she couldn’t think of anything, it was like she didn’t want to tell him. But that would make her a bitch; she couldn’t go back on a promise. Was she jealous or something, she sighed, not realizing she had done it out loud. She took a leap for it, “By any chance are you thinking of a blonde girl?” She asked, sneakily, meaning Holly off course, although she knew she had been way too obvious. Reagan hoped she didn’t just embarrass Holly or anything.
ooc; go me i made second page haha.

Liam pretended not to feel her tapping his arm, and hearing her laugh, and compliment him. He just wanted to turn to her and scream his head off, but he knew he never could. Nevermind would. He wasn't mad at her, even though he kind of was. It wasn't her fault, and not that he would acknowledge it but it wasn't his either. It was the fates. But, for things like this, Liam felt it was only right to blame himself for how he felt. Feelings are a possesion and these were his, after all. He wanted to turn to her and just yell about everything. Everything she made him feel, everything he loved about her, which at this moment were also the things he hated about her, everything that he wanted to say to her, everything that he wanted to do to her, just everything. A sort of plea, hoping she could stop being so amazing and he could stop being so hooked on her. But he knew she couldn't stop being amazing, it was just who she was. And it was his fault that he was incredibly drawn to that...
He tried so hard to let the adorable smile slide off his back as it was thrown at him, hitting him in the heart like a soccer ball hits you in the face. Fast, unexpected and painful. He heard her sigh and looked at her expression, not moving his face out of his hands. Before he knew it, the question had passed. If he hadn't been so good at listening he would have missed it, but he heard her loud and clear. And he couldn't believe that this was happening to him. As he saw it, this was the end of the world, of this friendship, of his love life, and basically of his life in general. Was he thinking of a blonde girl. Duh. He figured that he was in too deep by now so there was no point in trying to lie. She knew, he knew and it was over. What did he have left to lose, right?
"Yeah. She's the most amazing girl I've ever met, she makes me weak at the knees, the thought of her makes my stomach do flips, she makes me laugh, she's so pretty, when I'm around her I'm lucky if I can remember my name, and I hate it." He said, stumbling across words and just sounding as if this was the worst news ever. He had meant Reagan of course, and that's why it was bad. He knew her history, and, sadly, he also knew his.

Reagan put her head in her hands and watched him, something was up and she wanted to know what was bothering him so much. She had the random urge to hug him, and make him feel happy, because at the moment he looked slightly lost, confused and sad, and she hated seeing Liam like that.
She watched him closely, watching his eyes as they focused on the table in front of him, and hardly blinked. He face seemed tense as if he was holding back the urge to do something or say something. Reagan was slightly surprised when he answered after a long while of silence. She went over what he had said inside her mind, ‘amazing’; Holly could be amazing, ‘funny, pretty’ it fitted the description of her best friend perfectly. For a moment she felt upset, jealous and she could have sworn her heart rate had slowed down. She blinked stupidly for a second, then realised she hadn’t replied, she smiled falsely and said, “Well Holly feels that way about you too” She said, struggling to get the words out. She felt like so much like walking away right now, and not seeing the triumphant look on Liam’s face that the girl he liked felt the same way.
She stayed put, her head in her hands, looking up at him with her blue eyes, waiting for him to say something. “I mean apparently, she’s liked you for ages” She continued, not being able to stop herself, “she told me earlier” She bit her lip for no particular reason, and made herself stop rambling.

As soon as the words left his mouth, Liam regretted it. He saw the goofy smile on her face. She was going to laugh at him... just what he needed, a kick to the throat when he was down. He almost felt like crying, and he hadn't cried since a video shoot went horribly wrong two years ago... broken collarbone, ribs, and arm lets just say that. He really wasn't ready to be ridiculed and messed with and just terribly torn up inside but what was done was done and it was all up to Reagan now...
Then the words hit him. It was another soccer ball to the face moment, but worse. Like the pointed end of a football in your eye, flat edge of a frisbee to the bridge of your nose, a baseball to your throat and a tennis ball to the jewels; Clearly much worse. He felt like he had had the wind knocked out of him, like a punch to the chest. He could feel his heart wrench at the news, he couldn't believe this. Just when you think you can't fxck something up more, he managed to mess it up so bad that neither of his friends would ever talk to him again... great.
She put her head in her hands and he felt horrible. Holly was going to be heartbroken, if this was true. Reagan wouldn't lie to him. It had to be. He couldn't even think about Holly's reaction, now more than ever he wanted to just run out of the caf and into his dorm and lock the door and live on cheetos, reality TV and chocolate milk for the rest of his life all alone. He looked at Reagan, his heart breaking a little more with each second the glance lingered. There was a smile played across her lips, but her eyes looked so sad. Almost like betrayed. But he knew it was only a trick of the light, as far as she knew, he liked her best friend back and as far as he knew that would make her happy. He decided that he had to say it sometime and so he closed his eyes, took a deep breath and spit it out.
"I'm not talking about Holly..." He swollowed hard as he blinked a little. He felt so embarrassed that he couldn't even look at her...

Reagan blinked, as her eyes stayed fixed on his emotionless face, she tried to hide her feelings, and she felt it was working. After a minute of nothing, she felt slightly strange; if he liked Holly and he had just found out he liked her back just as much why wasn’t he happy, why wasn’t he smiling or showing something other than a blank expressionless face. She almost felt like he was unreadable, she couldn’t understand why he wasn’t cheerful. As far as Reagan had noticed, once she had told him about Holly, well it seemed to make him worse, he looked as if he was going to cry and she hated it.
She reached out to put her hand on his arm, and opened her mouth to ask what was wrong; why was he acted so weird, it was starting to worry her, frighten her.
I’m not talking about Holly The words slipped out of his mouth as if this was so obvious to figure out. Then Reagan realised, if he wasn’t talking about Holly than who was he talking about? For a moment she felt butterflies in her stomach for the first time in her life, but with a lot of effort she ignored this feeling. This couldn’t happen, What about her best friend? What was she going to say to her later? Who did Liam really like?
It took her a while to gather the few words she said next, her face was plain, her eyes showed a mixture of confusion, sadness but she was the tiniest bit pleased. “Well” She said slowly, blinking, “Who are you talking about then?” Wondering if the person she had in her head was the correct answer.

Liam's breathing staggered when Reagan touched his arm. His heart skipped a beat and it felt like electircity coursing through his body, his veins, he felt electrified. It seemed like she was going to speak, but nothing came out of her mouth. This confused him a little as he gathered enough composure to look her straight in the face. He looked into he eyes, they were green and they were deep and right now they were full of mixed emotion, something he couldn't even come close to putting his finger on. They were burning a hole in him, and it felt like all sense of reason and logic were pouring out of the hole. He didn't know what to do, one time in his life when words didn't seem like they would be enough. And they wouldn't. They couldn't. This was something more profound that what he could put together with words, indefinable.
She spoke and he knew what to do. He knew it was risky, and it would make her hate him, but he knew that he had to do it, he had to be honest. He couldn't lie to Reagan, hadn't he already comfused her enough. Plus, soon enough this would all be over, when Reagan got so mad at him that she would never speak to him again. Once again, going for it just for the sake of going for it. What has he got to lose, right? Not his best friend, that's for sure. She was already as good as gone. Liam bit the inside of his lip as he leaned toward the girl. He slid an arm around her neck and pressed his lips against hers softly. His eyes closed and something inside him wanted to scream. He wanted to cry, Reagan was gone and he didn't know if he could deal with it...

As Reagan looked at him the only thing she could think about was what was going to happen next. What was going to happen? She sat there frozen still, aware that many people on the next two or three tables were staring at them, and most likely listening to every single word each one said. This was going to be round the school in the next hour or so, and Reagan felt so bad for humiliating Holly. What would she say when she found out Liam liked someone else?
The many questions swirling around in her head almost made her forget Liam was looking right back at her. She shook her head slightly, trying to collect her thoughts and turned around properly to face him. In the next second she felt Liam’s arm around her neck, she flinched at the goosepimples she received, she couldn’t think straight. Before she had enough time to even blink she could feel Liam’s lips against hers. Her arm instantly drew itself up to Liam’s shoulder, and she lent forward, but then reality hit her. He liked her?
She couldn’t say she wasn’t surprised; she’d never of thought it. The funny thing was Reagan had the strange feeling she liked him back. But she couldn’t, Holly did. After the things he had said to her a minute ago, even when she was thinking he meant Holly, she had the tiniest bit of hope that those words were meant for her. And they were.
She was still frozen, and she held Liam’s chin in her hand, she looked away not wanting to look into his eyes. Her hand dropped beside her and she pulled away slowly. The more she wanted to kiss Liam, the more she wanted to hold his hand, she couldn’t.
Quietly she sat, in front of him, looking down into her lap. She didn’t know how long she was silent, for this time even Reagan had nothing to say, which was a world record. She would have thought Liam would have left by now, but she looked up and he was still sitting there. What should she do?
ooc;; omg that was so hard to reply too.

ooc; sorry x.x i can't think of much for this either but i have a spark, it'll get going... GOT IT!
Once Liam had had a split second to realize what was happening he got really scared. He shuddered as Reagan seemed to be kissing him back, but as soon as it had started, it had ended. And it left him wanting more, almost needing more. He was like a junkie at this point, and Reagan was his drug. It was a sick addiction that he wanted to beat so bad. He knew if he didn't it would kill him, but he didn't know how to get out. He was sinking in further with every thought about Reagan, every thought about what they could never be.
He set his elbows on the table, and just shoved his face into his hands, hiding it from the people watching and mostly from Reagan. He could feel his face become hot, the moisture behind his eyes building steadily. He couldn't think of what to say, there was nothing he could say and there was nothing he could do. It felt as though he had just been diagnosed with a terminal illness and told he had ten days to live, except that would have been better. He was dying of embarrassment anyway, what would the difference be? A drop trailed out of his eye and he felt it trickle down his cheek. he rubbed his hands over his face and stuck his forehead back in his hands. His gaze was fixed on the table and he felt so bad. He was a bad person, and no one could tell him otherwise. His breath came out in irregular shudders and he had no interest in trying to keep his cool at this point. "I'm so sorry, I really am... The crookedness of his breathing caused this to come out in quiet, sharp fragments, two or three words each.

Reagan began picking at her fingernails awkwardly, she looked around her, noticing almost everyone was now interested in their particular table. She wanted to shout at them, tell the to fuck off and mind their own business. But she couldn’t find her voice; she wasn’t sure if Liam had taken it away or if she was just too scared to say anything. It was most likely both, she thought.
She lifted her head up slowly, pushing her blonde hair back from her face, and looked at Liam. She couldn’t see his face, as he buried it in his hands above the table. Reagan swore she could hear very silent sobs, and she knew Liam was crying. She had made him cry, she didn’t mean too. She had so many different feelings at the moment she didn’t know what to do. Taking a deep breath, and not at all sure at what she was doing, she reached out to pull Liam’s arms from his face. He was crying. She couldn't even begin to imagine what he was feeling right now. She frowned at him, and she concentrated on acting like her normal self, not the Reagan she was now; surprised and confused.
“Don’t cry you big girl” She said, adding a forced laugh at the end, and before she knew what she was doing, she lent forward and returned the awkward kiss from before, pushing Liam’s hair out his wet cheeks. Holly was going to be so upset.
Ooc; gah. I have to go now ;[

ooc; lmao that is exactly what it is XD
All that Liam could remember, was the feeling. The feeling of losing someone, it was almost as if she had died, because he had genuinely thought that he had lost his best friend. He really wasn't close with anyone else, she was as good as it had gotten. He just felt so bad for ruining it. Not bad for her, she had Holly and that had always been her best friend, but for himself. God, selfpity is contagious.
All Liam could remember was the feeling. The feeling of Reagan's lips crashing into his, gracefully, awkwardly, almost perfectly. He lost it for a second and just kissed her back but then he remembered it all. It came back like a boomerang, the situation that they were both in and what the heck was happening. He liked her, she didn't like him, her best friend did, he only liked the best friend as a friend. What a trainwreck. But wouldn't it just be so much easier to keep kissing Reagan and think that that would make it all okay. The real answer was no, as much as Liam wanted it to be yes. He forced himself to stop kissing her, it was definately easier done than said. He stayed in the same spot, their faces mere centimeters from the other and he just looked in her eyes. His crying had stopped but his eyes were still sad. He had good reason. "I can't. I'm sorry."[/i]

Reagan nodded her head slightly, “You can’t what?” She replied softly, trying to stop herself from looking into his eyes. He looked so sad, and it made her feel so awful.
She finally blinked and broke the gaze, her head dropped again to look at her red converse shoes. She couldn’t help but think of Holly. She didn’t know how much she liked Liam, but she was sure that because she did like him, as a best friend she should keep her distance from him. She sighed to herself, thankfully no sound came out of her mouth, what was going to happen now? She was slightly frightened, she could lose either one of her best friends at any minute.
ooc; its not much better haha.

Liam saw her shift her gaze away from him, he knew it. She didn't want to be his friend anymore. Because of what he had done. But it didn't matter, he had to be straight with her. He reached over and grabbed one of her hands in his own. "Look at me, Rea." He struggled to look into her forrest green eyes and say what he would and not feel bad about Holly, but love like makes you do crazy things. "I can't go out with Holly. It wouldn't be fair to her. I like you, more than you know. And it wouldn't be fair to Holly, you wouldn't want to be kissing someone who isn't thinking about you. And the only person I can think about is you, Reagan." He surprisingly said all this at a normal pace, looking at her, understandably and not crying. Score one for team Liam (:

Reagan tried to clear her mind of Holly, maybe she wouldn't be bothered, and maybe she'll encourage Reagan or something. That thought soon vanished, but it was good while it lasted, she looked up as Liam spoke.
She listened carefully, moving her mouth into funny positions as she took in his words. Reagan couldn't help but smile, she had never had a guy tell her this before, she felt special and happy that someone genuinely liked her and not just because she was hot and 'up for a laugh'. She looked into his eyes, they seemed to have changed throughout the past minute or so, it made her smile wider.
Realising that she was smiling like an idiot, she straightened her mouth, and with difficulty muttered, "Why do you like me?" She asked, not really understanding, because no one had properly liked her before, she was regarded as some sort of slut in most peoples eyes. Amongst all of this, she still couldn't help but think, what will Holly say? What will she say?

Liam looked at her as he talked and as he finished talking. And as this was happening, she smilied. A lot. Like a maniac. And that made everything better if even for a second. She wasn't mad at him and that was enough. 'I'm sure as hell the happiest i've ever been...' He thought. He watched her as she smiled crookedly and couldn't even try to supress the laugh that bubbled up from inside of him. He would like to think he wasn't laughing at her, but he was. he was also laughing at her question. How could he not like her. To him, she was perfect. "Because you're real, and you don't lie to your friends. And you laugh so cute and you just make feel this thing I've never felt before. And I don't know what it is, but I think I like it..." He too smiled, this seemed like it was too good to be true. It was true. "You make me think about stuff, and about people. And about myself. I just always have a good time around you, and you just get it. I don't ahve to explain stuff to you cause somehow you just know, and I love that. You're just... I don't know why I like you, Rea. I just do..."
