Running out of the Starbucks, coffee cup in hand, was Tyler Keller. He heard an unbearble sound outside, and wondered what the hell was going on. He saw a motorbike and a car, practically demolished. Ty figured they must of collided into each other.
Tyler ran up, closer to the scene. He noticed that Holly was the one that was driving the crashed car. "Holy hell." He yelled, as he ran his fingers through his shaggy hair. Tyler placed his coffee cup on a bench nearby. "What happened?" He asked people walking by.
"That car and motorbike went boom!" A little kid with bright red hair answered Tyler back. The boy's mother replied with, "Yeah, that motorbike ran into that car. Poor girl... I think someone already called the ambulance." "Oh, thanks, I guess." Tyler replied, his voice rushed.

Reagan's heart was racing ten times its usual speed, she didn't bare open her eyes to view what was going to happen. She could feel the force of the car collide with the froint of Jays motorbike, and the force caused both of them to fly over the bonnet of the car.
Reagan felt herself being flung of the vehicle, this was all happening to fast for her to find her voice, she couldn't even scream. She fell sidewards onto the concrete floor below, her head hitting the curb so hard you could hear the collision. She tried to open her eyes, as she heard the muttering of passers by. "J-Jay?" She asked, her voice quiet. She tried to sit up, her legs seemed fine but it felt like her head was ablaze. Once again she struggled to open her eyes, coming face to face with the result of the situation. Was that really Holly she could see behind the wheel of the car?
She lifted a weak hand to the back of her head, and tried to forget about the matted blood that covered her hair like a helmet. If only she'd been wearing one.

Do you even care if I die bleeding Would it be wrong Would it be right If I took my life tonight Chances are that I might Mutilation outta sight And I'm contemplating suicide[/i] Hearing Reagan’s voice, he sat up as quickly as he could, and pulled his helmet off, his neck and shoulders screaming in protest. Setting it aside, he twisted himself round to see the state of her head. His stomach dropped, and he bit his lip, brow creasing in worry. “Reagan! I’m so sorry! Oh no oh no,” he shook his head, gasping for breath. What had he done? He’d only ever crashed once…well, taught him a lesion not to be cocky, didn’t it? He tried to turn over, reaching out for her with a shaky hand. In the distance, he heard sirens. “It’s okay, help’s coming,” he murmured, more to comfort himself than anyone else. She had to be okay…but what if her skull was smashed? He’d never forgive himself. He glared towards the person in the car, who was slumped over the steering wheel, and recognized Tyler. He clenched his teeth. What was the deal with Holly? She just got a whiplash, what about Reagan who, probably, smashed her head in. He turned back to her, and put a firm, but quivering hand on her shoulder. “Have you hurt anything else?” he asked, barely above a whisper. People around him were muttering and shaking their head in disapproval. Disapproval of him. He wanted to tell them to fuck off and mind their own business, but he couldn’t see. He panicked for a moment, before he realized that he was crying, actual sobs breaking through his throat. He bought his hands into his chest, clenching his jaw and trying to stem the flow. Shaking his head, he turned so his leg was straight out, still bleeding.

Holly slowly started to break from her unconscious state but she was still dazed. She still had her eyes closed and still hanging over the steering wheel. She could hear muffled sounds that made no sense to her, she could hear faint shouts and screams of people but she couldn't make anything out. She attempted to lift her head but found it heavier than a bowling ball. She lifted her right arm up slightly and pressed it against the steering wheel, not really knowing what she was doing. She pushed herself up slowly from her position until her head hit the back of her seat. She didn't know what had happened and she felt confused and alone. She tried to breathe but she found herself in shock and that she was shaking and her whole body felt like jelly. She opened her eyes slightly and founf her vision slight blurred, she couldn't make out much apart from shadows and the shape of things, no details. She felt something strange on her face, something she hadn't felt before. It was a weired sticky but wet feeling. She brought her hand up to her face and found the side of her face wet, a strange hot feeling. she pulled her hand from her face and looked at it, her hand was covered in blood, hers. After a few seconds she realised that it was her blood, even in her confusion and panic. She opened her eyes further and screamed as loud as she could from shock and panic. She tried to breathe slower but found it impossible, she began to hyperventilate and it hurt her, she had never felt such pain in her chest as she tried to breathe, she was unaware of her two broken ribs. She started to panic more. She still didn't understand what was going on, but in her panic she automatically reached for the handle of the door. She tried to pull it but nothing happened, she tried again and nothing. She tried several times at the door and nothing worked, the crash must have broken the mechanics for the handle. She started to cry and she didn't know what for, she was still confused and she couldn't breathe properly and she continued to panic.

The sound of the sirens grew louder as an ambulance turned the corner, followed by a police car. Obviously someone had phoned them. Reagan struggled to sit up, but found it was impossible, she could hardly think straight. She could just about see Jay, moving her hand away from the sodden patch of her hair she tried to smile, but that was difficult to do as well. "No, I'm fine" She replied to him, her voice still quiet, but you could tell she wasn't fine. "It's not bad" She said, "I'm sure its n-nothing" She winced, as she placed her arms by her side to try and heave herself up, although she was soon stopped by a paramedic, who had flew to her side in the last few seconds.
Reagan could hear muffled sobs, but she wasn't sure where they were coming from. Was Jay crying? She hoped that he was not hurt badly, and hopefully Holly was okay. She had to compose herself, determined that she wouldn't let the tears threatening to spill leak, she convinced herself it wasn't that painful. "A-are you oka-y?" She stuttered slightly, not realising her voice would be that shaky.
"Just stay here" the paramedic told her, "Don't try and move" He glanced over at Jay, "You're the driver" He stated, rather than asked, he eyed the motorbike and then his gaze was back on Jay's blooded leg. He bent down, undoing his green plastic case, ready to clean up the blood on both of them.
Looking over to the car where Holly sat panicking, you could see a young police officer trying to open the jammed door. "Calm down miss" He was telling her, "We'll get you out, just stay still"
Regan closed her eyes, she felt slightly dizzy when she had them open, but she just thought it was shock, so she didn't want anyone to worry about her. Besides, the knock on her head was most likely nothing.

Do you even care if I die bleeding Would it be wrong Would it be right If I took my life tonight Chances are that I might Mutilation outta sight And I'm contemplating suicide[/i] Jay hissed a cuss as a paramedic knelt down next to him and pulled his trouser leg up to get to the wound. “Fuck off. Help her, don’t mind me,” he growled angrily, through his tears. The paramedic stayed silent, but nodded gently, pressing a piece of wadding to his wound and securing it on tightly before turning to help his colleague with Reagan. “She’ll need a neck brace, that looks pretty bad,” he muttered to the other paramedic. Jay’s eyes widened in horror, just how bad was it? Jay tried to move closer to her, but the paramedic blocked his way. When he looked back to his bike again, he saw a couple of police officers trying to take it away. “Hey! That the fuck do you think you’re doing? That’s mine!” he yelled, trying to get up and stop them. They glared at him, and shook their heads. Jay didn’t wait to hear the rest; he was feeling faint, wretched and worried. He bent his head, and submitted to letting the paramedic tend to him.

Holly continued to panic when she couldn't get out of her car, she had never not been able to get out of it before. She stopped herself for a couple of seconds and tried to control herself but it never really worked. She calmed down a little and started at the steering wheel, something to focus on, but what she saw made her scream again, the steering wheel was all bloodied from her head wound. She still couldn't make sense of much. She saw somebody approach the side of her car, it was a police officer. He was a tal, kind looking guy in his late 20's. "Calm down miss" He was telling her, "We'll get you out, just stay still" This only made Holly panic more, she could hear faint screams and sirens but she still felt like she was in her own world. She started to bang at the window as hard as she could which wasn't very hard in her condition, she was trying to smash the glass but to no avail, she didn't know what else to do. The police officer started to panic for her too, he had never seen a young girl in this situation before. "please calm down miss, you'll injure yourself more if you continue!" he shouted through the glass. Holly was oblivious to him and started to bang at the window loudly with her elbow. She stopped for a second to look out the window, she could see a huddle of people about 20 ft from her car, she could make out sombody with dark blonde hair lying near the sidewalk with people around her and a smaller crown next to her. She tried to focus on the smaller crown, less for her to take in. She realised it way Jay lying half on the ground. She started to cry again, what had she done?, was this all her fault?, she held her palm up to the window in a defeated measure and she tried to shout but nothing came out. "Jay" she whispered croakily She meant for it to come out louder but that was all she could manage.

Reagan chose to ignore the paramedic, but the other woman was consistent on keeping her on the ground. "A neck brace!" She repeated, sounding horrified, "I don't want one" She refused, "I'm fine" She insisted, as she tried to move her head but found it extremely excruciating.
"No you're not" was the reply from a voice she didn't recognise, "I'm afraid you have no choice" as the first paramedic moved over to her, after fixing Jay's leg with a bandage; someone else was attending him now.
She scowled at him, as he moved her head gently in his hands, and tried to clean her up. She bit her lip, her reaction to the pain, but she continued to winge, "I'm fine".
Looking over at Jay she could still he was still in tears, which wasn't helping her, seeing over people cry usually made her cry as well. He didn't look to impressed that the police officers were taking his bike away, but they weren't listening to him, as the carried the damaged vehicle away to be examined.
Reagan nervously looked up at the car window, it was quite difficult, concerning her neck, and she couldn't see due to the people around her. She heard the banging on the door, and the young police officer seemed pretty panicky himself. Eventually he managed to pull the door open, after many unsuccessful attempts. He held out his hand for Holly to grab, and helped her out of the car, placing her on the ground. "Are you hurt?" He asked her, which was rather stupid, as he could see the blood on her face. You could tell he was new to the job.

Tyler was the scene play out right in front on him. Everything was happening so fast, almost too fast. He watched in terror as the ambulance turned the corner. Holly had blood running down her face, as far as Tyler could see. Which wasn't very much, considering that there was a large crowd watching. Ty listened to the paramedics talking to the two which were riding on the motor bike. The senior inched closer, relizing who was riding on the bike. Jay Farr. Life was ironic. Behind Jay was Reagan Swan. When Holly finds out that Jay hit her or vise virsa, she'll be crushed. He shook his head and continued to watch, wishing he could help in some way.

Holly hated the situation that she was in, she didn't understand a lot of things and had no clue what was going on, you could say she was semi-conscious. As she banged at the window with her elbow she managed to make a small crack but nothing else. She watched as the poilice officer tried to get the door open from the outside and still nothing. This made Holly panic again, she felt that she could hardly breathe and was slightly short of breath. She held her hand to her chest and could feel herself wheezing. Her thoughts were interrupted though when she felt and heard the door open loudly. Before she could even say anything the police officer had picked her out of the car and placed her in a sitting postition, her back against the side of the car. Are you hurt?" He asked her loudly, so she could hear. If Holly was fine she would have probably answered back with a sarcastic comment. Although, the question stumped her, was she hurt? she couldn't quite tell. She held her hand to her chest again, she knew she couldn't breathe properly and she started to cough a little. Within a couple of seconds the police officer had grabbed a paramedic to help her. The paramedic was a guy in his early 20's, if Holly wasn't in the stae she was in she probably would have told him he was cute. He knelt down in front of her carrying his medic pack. He held her face upwards with both of his hands to keep her neck straight. "Can you tell me your name honey?" he asked in a comforting tone Holly looked at him like he was from Mars. "H..h.h" she started to cough a little. "h..Holly" she muttered "That's great Holly, where does it hurt?" he asked slowly Holly didn't know how to answer him, she felt like very pain receptor in her body had shut down, apart from the pain in her chest. She couldn't string a sentence together but she held her hand to her chest again. The paramedic understood quickly and brought out a small oxygen mask from his pack. he tightened the elastic strap behind her head and let the mask fall over her nose and mouth to try to help her breathe better, the mask was attached to a small portable ventilator. He checked her arms and legs to see if they were fine, nothing to be concerned about, just some bruises and grazes. He focused on the large cut on her forehead, he pressed about it with his thumb and Holly winced, it was stinging and she could feel it. "that looks pretty nasty" he said more to himself than Holly "we'll get you stitches in that when we get to the hospital, okay Holly?" he told her in a promised tone Holly wanted to look around again, but there were too many people about for her to see much. She noticed Jay again and tried to call out to him but she wasn't loud enough for him to hear, so she thought.

Do you even care if I die bleeding Would it be wrong Would it be right If I took my life tonight Chances are that I might Mutilation outta sight And I'm contemplating suicide[/i] As soon as the paramedics were done wadding up the wound on his leg, he tried to jump up. They stopped him, and the only woman paramedic knelt down beside him and put a firm hand on his shoulder. He glared acidly at her, but didn’t say anything. “Please stay here, we don’t want you to fall over and hurt yourself again,” her voice was level and calm, and usually had a good effect on patients. Jay was having none of it, “Will you please let me see her! She could die and it’ll be my entire fault! And where are you taking my bike? It’s not damaged! I can walk fine, I’m not mortally wounded, she is!” he raged, and pushed her away, getting up and stumbling over to Reagan. He knelt down, making his leg scream in pain, and he felt the blood start to run again. He took one look at her, and his eyes brimmed over again. The paramedics were in his way though, so he got up and went to where Holly was. His heart twisted when he saw the state of her, but then it turned to stone, as icy as his eyes. “Happy now!? Maybe you should pay more attention to the road! She could have died!” his voice rose, till he was shouting, his fists clenched angrily. The police officer that had helped Holly out the car got up, and raised his hands defensively, “Please sir, would you mind getting in the ambulance to wait?” he said calmly, and Jay gave him a death glare, before hobbling towards the ambulance. The driver helped him in the back, and he sat waiting impatiently for Reagan. He couldn’t really care less what happened to Holly, as long as Reagan and his motorcycle were alright.

The paramedic tried to stop Jay from moving, but she was brushed away roughly. "She'll be fine" She called quietly after him, but sighed and moved over to Reagan who was getting frustrated with the younger man. "Get off me!" She complained loudly as the ambulance assistant tried to get her to lie still, struggling he managed to put the foam neck brace around her.
Reagan gave up eventually, as she had no more physical strength left in her arms as she let herself be helped up from the floor. She grimaced at the pain and dizziness she now felt. She heard Jay shout something at Holly, she guessed as she was supported by the female paramedic., not by her own choice. She could walk perfectly fine without any help, or so she thought, but she was usually this stubborn.
She felt so stupid wearing a bright yellow neck support, and she was moodily lifted into the back of an ambulance, and seated beside the wall. She tried to ignore how much pain she was feeling right now, and wiped the blood off her arm with her t-shirt sleeve. Reagan hadn't noticed Jay was in the van at all, and she sniffed, trying to stop herself from crying, she hadn't so far. She hoped no one else was tragically hurt. She hadn't seen the outcome.

Holly watched as the paramedic pulled his walkie talkie out and muttered something quickly in it but he got no response, the other paramedics were too busy. He told her he'd be back in a minute and told the police officer to try to watch her carefully. She watched as he walked away and the police officer bent down beside her and tried to comfort her. She pulled her head up as far as she could and looked around a little, she saw somebody approach her, she focused more and saw jay standing in front of her, the police officer looking cautious about him. "jay!" she tried to shout as happily as she could but was muffled by the mask on her face, she was greatful that he wasn't hurt like her, that's what it looked like anyway, she could only see a bandage on his leg. But her slight lifted mood disappeard when she heard jay speak. “Happy now!? Maybe you should pay more attention to the road! She could have died!” Holly just started at him and started to cry, she knew he meant Reagan. She almost killed her best friend. Holly slowly convinced herself that this was all her fault, unknown to her it was because of Jay's reckless motorbike driving. She watched as the police officer told him to go elsewhere and leave her alone just as the paramedic came back with a wierd looking stretcher bed type thing and with another paramedic, a woman roughly in her late 30s.

Tyler watched frantically as the paramedic put a yellow neck brace around Reagan’s neck, while Jay has a swearing match with the paramedics. What was his problem? All the paramedics were doing was their job. For all Tyler cared, they should have just cared for Reagan and Holly. Jay was just being an idiot. Poor Holly needed a breathing mask, while Jay got a tiny puncture on his leg. Tyler was fed up with the scene which was unfolding, so he fought through a crowd, rushing up to Holly.
“Holly, it’s me, Tyler.” He said, in a hurried tone. He pushed her dyed blonde hair away from her eyes. “I saw what happened.” Tyler sighed, “You’ll be alright.” After he said that to his friend, the female paramedic came up to him. “Excuse me sir, please step aside.” Tyler shook his head and replied, “I think it would be best if I stayed with her. She needs me.” Tyler smiled down at Holly and told her, “I’ll stay here with you, okay?” He was obviously very protective of his friends, especially Holly because of her situation.

Holly watched as the paramedic came with a stretcher thing, Holly knew she didn't need it, she knew she could probably walk fine, it was just her top half that was broken. She looked around a little and saw somebody coming through the corwd of people watching. She would have told them to get lost if she could find the voice or energy. She watched as somebody push their way out of the crowd. She looked up and saw Tyler. She felt a bit happier that somebody she knew was near her. “Holly, it’s me, Tyler.” He said, in a hurried tone as he knelt beside her She looked up at him with her bright blue eyes and tried to smile, but it was only little. "Ty" She whispered behind her mask "W-w--w-w-w wh-what happened?" she asked quickly when she heard him say that he had seen what happened She never got an answer from him when the paramedic told him to move over. She wantd to panic again, she didn't want him to go- she needed somebody to be with her, she hated being on her own to fight her own battles. She started to shake her head slowly but she heard him say that he wanted to stay, she felt relieved. “I’ll stay here with you, okay?” Holly tried to smile again and nodded her head slightly. She tried to rip her mask off, it was annoying her but the paramedic held it back down for her. "You need to keep this on honey" she said slowly and comforting She never really had time to look at Tyler again when she felt somebody trying to pick her up from under her arms. She looked up and saw the male paramedic trying to help her stand. She turned to look at Tyler with a pleading look in her eyes, she hated to look this vulnerable and helpless. The paramedic helped her to her feet, she stood fo a second or two but collapsed again onto the ground. The paramedic then lifted her completely up in his arms and placed her on the stretcher he had brought over, she tried to jump off of it but he held her down..Holly could be really stubborn sometimes.
