Back down in Brooklyn, I'm so hard Naked with the lady, crashed my car Maxed out all of my credit cards, black out in Brooklyn Brooklyn!
Ryuu smirked, plan B all ready to be put into place. “Okay then. I can still buy you something though, right?” he asked hopefully, glancing at the shops thoughtfully, which one would Bill like? Hopefully the least expensive one…His eyes rested in horror on Tiffanies, which was having a ‘sale’. Glancing back at Bill, he wondered weather he’d like that sort of shop.

Bill looked at Ryuu, "If you want to," he shrugged and looked around, "I don't know why you's want to."
He wasn't quite sure what he wanted. As they walked, he saw the makeup store and his eyes lit up. He was in desperate need of new eyeshadow and eyeliner. Turning to the older boy, he grinned and motioned to the store. "I need eyeshadow.." he said, hoping Ryuu would get the hint.

Ryuu was about to look at him in disbelief, or say something insulting, and then he remembered that he already knew Bill wore eye shadow and merely smirked. “Okay then,” he grinned, and turned in the direction of the shop, not waiting for Bill to go first. He stood by the eye shadow, waiting for him, and smiled at the assistant. She was much hotter than the girl at café Nero, and he enjoyed her fluttery eyelashes and what not, even giving her a subtle wink. He then glanced at Bill, and winked even more at him.

Bill waltzed into the store, a wide smile coveing his features. He gave turned his attention to the rainbow colored makeup. He was looking for a certain shade of black, the same he always got, but couldn't seem to find it. He bit his lip in as he concentrated, wondering if maybe he should try something different, instead of sticking to his usual color.
Placing his hands on his hips dramatically, he sighed and picked up two colors. One was a grey color and the other had a blue tinge to it. He looked over at Ryuu and debated asking his opinion, but figured he probably didn't care. Sighing, he placed the blue tinged shadow down and turned to the older boy. "Here ya go!" he laughed as he walked towards the counter, smirking.

Ryuu felt a shopping war coming on, and he rolled his eyes, smiling despite himself. “Right colour black? Or would you like a pink black, or maybe a green black…God! How many shades of black can you get? I didn’t even think there was more than one!” he looked very perplexed, having never truly been in a make up store before. The girl behind the counter giggled, and flicked her hair. He scowled at her, and passed her the $50 note. She scowled in return, and counted out the change irritably, and rather slowly as she didn’t really seem to be able to count properly.

Laughing, Bill rolled his eyes. He glanced between the girl and Ryuu. He took note of how slow she was being and let out a loud sigh, tapping his nails on the counter. It really shouldn't have been so hard to count out the change, considering the till showed how much was needed to give back. It's not like she had to do the math herself. After a minute she handed over the bag. He snatched it from he and turned to leave, waiting for Ryuu.

Ryuu laughed inside at Bill’s impatience, and followed him without a second glance at the girl at the till like a puppy at its master’s heals. Where to next, then?” he asked, his eyes twinkling with excitement. He stretched his arms up casually, glancing sideways at Bill. He had about two seconds to decide weather or not…he put his arms behind his head, and sighed deeply. Chickened out at the last moment. As he walked, his hands slid further down the back of his head, the greasiness meaning he couldn’t get a purchase. He moved them up to his hat, and glanced sideways at Bill again.

Bill looked around the mall. There wasn't anything else he needed and although he had the feeling that he could, if he chose to, get a lot more free stuff, he knew he'd feel bad about it later. "I don't know," he said, shrugging as he turned to Ryuu, "It's up to you, I guess."
He quickly turned his attention to the floor, not sure why he felt so nervous all of a sudden. It was different this time, before it had been more of him wanting to get away from Ryuu. No, however, it was like he had that butterflies-in-stomach feeling. He wasn't enjoying it.

He grinned; Bill seemed to be all done (thank god!) and sighed in relief. “Alrighty then. You won’t mind if I show you my favourite shop then?” he asked, and then turned sharply towards a narrower and much less used wing of the mall. He wandered nonchalantly towards the end, where there was a fire escape, and a man sitting on a bench next to it reading a paper. The dull thudding of heavy metal being played somewhere below them could be heard -and felt- and Ryuu turned towards a small, black fronted shop right at the end of the row. He stopped, waiting for Bill, and put his hands in his pocket.

Bill's eyes widened when Ryuu spoke; he wasn't so sure he was going to enjoy this. He quickly followed behind the older boy as he headed toward a part of the mall that he hadn't even realized was there. He could hear music and he felt the bass shaking the floor slightly. Eyeing the front of the store, he raised an eyebrow, "What.. I didn't even know this was here" he muttered as he stopped next to Ryuu.

“Sure you didn’t. Only cool people know this place even exists,” he said, nodding towards the shop, before going in. At first sight the shop looked very similar to Hot Topic, but if you dared to look closer, you would notice it had a much grungier feel, with lots of black and skulls and spikes everywhere. At the back of the shop was a stair case going down into a basement area. The music seemed to be coming from there. A single shop assistant was stood by the counter, leaning on it and smoking something that looked hand rolled, and probably wasn’t tobacco. Ryuu frowned slightly, not liking the look of it, but then rearranged his face into a friendly smile. “Hey babes, how’s things?” he asked casually as he walked towards the stairs. She looked up, her face - revealed through a mop of metal style hair - was covered in piercings and tattoos, and she smiled faintly but not appearing to want to say anything. Ryuu frowned again, and reached out for Bill’s wrist, wrapping his large hand around it firmly, before leading him to the stairs. “This is the only store that lets patrons into it’s basement area,” he said, leaning close to Bill’s ear to mutter the words above the thumping bass.

Bill nodded and followed Ryuu into the store. As he looked around, a somewhat disgusted look fell on his face. The store really wasn't somewhere he ever thought he'd end up. He felt completely out of place here, and his eyes widened in shock when he saw the girl behind the counter smoking. Despite himself, he shuffled closer to Ryuu, slightly terrified.
As they walked past the girl, he decided to avoid eye contact and glanced at the floor, which looked like it could use a good cleaning. He felt Ryuu's hand on his wrist and felt his body tense up. He didn't mind walking closely behind the boy, but actual physical contact wasn't something he wanted. As Ryuu leaned in close, he shuddered and nodded again. "Okay," he said, eyes wide.

Ryuu smelt the smoke coming off the girl’s cigarette, and instantly started to feel a stab of regret for bringing Bill here. Shrugging it off, he let go of Bill’s hand, his fingers lingering there a moment longer, before he headed down the stairs, ducking to avoid hitting his head on the ceiling of the floor below.
It was dark, and the air was hazy with smoke, but laughter rang out through the sound of pounding music. Ryuu’s eyes instantly went to the stage, where a local thrash metal band was playing. He rolled his eyes, they only looked about sixteen, and the lead singer’s voice wavered and cracked far too often for it to be a pleasant sound effect. Luckily for him, the rest of his band was pretty decent, and their monstrously loud playing sort of covered him up. A few people smiled in recognition at Ryuu, some waved and a couple winked. He waved at a group of people on the other side of the room, before going over to an empty table he’d spotted in a quieter corner. “It’s like Sierra for the more refined rebels,” he winked, his voice low.
Sitting down heavily on the dark wooden chair, he stretched out his legs and got out a cigarette, lighting it and then drawing on it hungrily. He watched Bill’s face carefully, hoping he liked it here, or at least was distracted enough by his company to not notice. “You sing, don’t you?” he asked, smiling broadly.

Bill couldn't help but frown when Ryuu let go of his wrist. He quickly wiped the look off his face and mimicked the olders boy's actions, following him down the stairs. Once in the basement, he looked around, eyes wide once again. He heard glanced up at the stage, a skeptical look on his face, and rolled his eyes. The "singer", if you could even call him that, sounded awful. The music was almost too much for him, but not wanting to come off as stuck up, he kept his mouth shut.
As they made their way to a table, he noticed that people seemed to know Ryuu. He watched the boy plop down and pull out a cigarette as he stood awkwardly. He wasn't really in the mood to sit down, but did it anyway. He started fidgeting and looked around, watching all the other people interacting, a blank expression on his face. He heard Ryuu speak and glanced in his direction. "Oh, yah, I do," he said, voice raised and laughed nervously as he motioned to the band on stage, "Not like that though."
ooc: haha, weird

Ryuu stood up suddenly, and went the short distance to the bar in the corner, and muttered to the bar maid nonchalantly, glancing at Bill occasionally. She nodded; pushing out her chest when he approached her and licking her lip ring every so often, then produced two drinks, adding something extra to Ryuu’s. He grinned, and took them back to Bill. “This place does the most amazing cocktails, you must try one,” he said, pushing it towards him, forgetting to mention how amazingly alcoholic they were. He took a sip, the alcohol burning his throat, and he made a face to depict that. “That is, if you think you’re hard enough,” he grinned roguishly, and ran a hand through his hair.
[and thus, Ryuu reveals the point of the trip >3]
