Tom leaned forward, guitar in hand, and lost himself in his music. Out of habit, his tongue was once again sticking out of his mouth. He looked up as Ryuu started playing then quickly looked away. As much as he liked Ryuu, he couldn't see him and his brother together, even if it was just for, well, sex. Not that it was a crazy idea, he just.. wasn't really Bill's type. And in all honesty, he didn't want to have to deal with Bill when he came crying to him for whatever reason.
"No offense, but it'll take a lot more than that." Tom said, glancing at Ryuu out of the corner of his eye.

Back down in Brooklyn, I'm so hard Naked with the lady, crashed my car Maxed out all of my credit cards, black out in Brooklyn Brooklyn!
Ryuu nodded in agreement. “Yeah…you’re right,” he sighed, in a giving up sort of way, and suddenly bashed the hell out of his drums, a look of serious concentration on his face. Suddenly, his brother sprang to mind, and he scowled. Irja was just the kind of guy Bill would absolutely adore. What was it about Irja that Ryuu didn’t have? He frowned, and muttered under his breath, “Maybe I should learn from Irja…”
Heading out to Detroit, got the call the motor city's jumping Maybe I should stay Curtain calls coming, we'll have to stall, a red heads finding her way back stage I see her coming this way
I get in I get out jump in a cab at a quarter to midnight I show up we get down and the party gets started again

Tom jumped slightly as Ryuu smashed his drums and looked up. He had an almost defeated look on his face. He heard him mutter under his breath, "Who's Irja?" he asked?
((Sorry it's so short))

Ryuu laughed heartily when Tom jumped, and leant back in pride on his stool. He frowned, looking confused. “Have I never told you who Irja is? He’s my twin brother. He went to study in London…I think. He’s just the kind of person Bill would love. Such a soppy little sweet heart. He’s the one that started the pink trend,” he said, pointing to his Barbie pink mobile phone, and hoping Tom remembered his pink fluffy steering wheel too.
[no probs ^_^]

"Oh, ja, I remember now." Tom laughed and shook his head; how did he manage to forget that? He thought about what Ryuu said.
He knew that in a way it was true, Bill did tend to go for sweeter guys. He started playing again. "I don't know about that. Think he'd like someone to protect him.. or whatever." Tom laughed and shrugged, "Plus, it would be nice for me if he had someone else he could complain to."

This made Ryuu laugh. Someone else to complain to? “Well, I think Irja might just give him a taste of his own medicine. Irja’s a whiny little emo,” he snorted, remembering the moping around he used to do about that Helene woman. That had gotten on Ryuu’s nerves a lot, and it all came and bit them in the butt when their dad kicked them out the house. “Is he really that bad?” he smirked, his voice dripping with mock sympathy.

Tom laughed and wondered if Bill and Irja were really that similar. He sighed, tired of playing his guitar and put it in it's stand. Laying back on his bed, he placed his arms behind his head, yawning.
"He's not that bad, I guess. But sometimes, I honestly think he was supposed to be a girl." Tom stared at the ceiling. As much as Bill got on his nerves, he knew he couldn't live without his brother. They were really each other had.

Ryuu laughed, thinking of Irja dredged up some pretty funny memories…and some bad ones. There were all the times they’d argued, beaten each other up and what ever like brothers do, after that there were the times they’d ganged up on their younger brother, Kailie and teased him half to death. As Ryuu meandered further into his memory, bad things started appearing: The day he found out his mum had died, a few days later when they brought home the baby she’d died for, his first argument with his father, the first time he did hard drugs, Irja and he arguing bitterly about it afterwards, the first time Helene came over, the weeks that followed the devil woman’s appearance, the first time he’d slept with a girl whilst smashed, finding out said girl was pregnant, arguing with his dad again and breaking his arm punching the wall. Last but not least, the day his father kicked them all out. He sighed, pushing them back down into the back of his mind. No wonder he’d dirtied his mind with thoughts of lust. It kept the more painful ones at bay. “Hum…I think I like him better as a guy. Boobs just get in the way, you know?” he winked, and snorted in laughter again, putting his drumsticks down and getting out a beer. “Want one?” he asked, holding up another. He looked a little deflated in his ego, after his bout of remembering. He hoped Tom didn’t probe him. He’d never said anything about his home life to anyone at Watson’s, and was planning on keeping it that way. He’d even gone so far as to avoid the topic of his brother, so that he didn’t have to explain about him. What would happen if Irja came? Not if…when…He’s been talking about it for weeks, he thought morosely, and sighed.

Tom rolled his eyes and laughed at Ryuu's comment. He knew better than to say anything and just closed his eyes instead. He heard Ryuu say something and opened an eye, "Ja, please," he grinned and got up, making his way over he grabbed a beer before heading back to his bed.
After opening and taking a big drink of the alcohol, Tom grinned and laid back on his bed. He had noticed the look on Ryuu's face and wondered about whether he should ask him about his home life. "So, what was your life like before coming to Watson?" he asked as he took another drink.

Ryuu frowned deeply; Tom had the most annoying habit of bringing up things he didn’t want to talk about it. He hesitated for a long time, humming tunelessly to himself as he thought. “In a nut shell: crap,” he said bluntly, tapping his foot and sipping at his drink thoughtfully. Should he really put Tom through the whole sob story? Better not. Irja could do that. He’d do a far better job at the sobbing part.

From the amount of time it took between Tom's question and Ryuu's response, Tom got the idea that he didn't want to talk about it. However, Tom wasn't one to care about whether or not someone wanted to talk. He usually pushed people to their breaking point, where they either told him everything or told him to fuck off. He wanted to see what he could get out of Ryuu. "Ja? That's shit," he stated, deciding to go the easy way, "Why such crap?"

He shrugged, sitting down on his bed and staring at the floor. Would it do him good to talk about it? He wasn’t sure but…When had he ever worried about what did him good or not? Reluctantly, he started. “I was only a small child when my ma died…But when my father brought Kailie home, well…You could imagine I was upset. I hated Kailie. I used to do some pretty awful things to him. Irja just went really quiet for ages. I hated it. When I was in middle school, and I was about 12 years old, I had a massive argument with my father, can’t remember what it was about now, but then I started smoking crack. It really was disgusting, but everyone thought I was really cool, and I instantly became one of the most popular guys in the school. Unfortunately, Irja didn’t approve…” he trailed off, trying to gather his thoughts again. Irja had been distraught when he’d found out, and they’d argued badly…He hated arguing with his brother because he’d make him feel really bad afterwards. Sighing, he gazed out the window again, deep in thought.

Tom was silent, quite shocked that Ryuu had actually decided to open up to him. He wasn't quite sure what to say. His life definitely hadn't been anywhere near that bad, so he wasn't about to pull the usual 'I know what that's like' like most people would. "That's kinda.. awful," he muttered, turning toward Ryuu, "You're not still doing the crack thing, though, right? I'll have to kill ya if you are," he let out a nervous laugh. Drugs are something he was not into, and he'd always had a fear of losing someone, whether it be a friend or a family member, to them.

He shook his head firmly, he had hated it, the only way he would do it was smoking because he didn’t like needles and he had a strange fear of nosebleeds. “Nah, mate. It really wasn’t worth it…I was high most of the time, and I just…don’t…remember much,” he frowned, twisting his fingers together thoughtfully. He could still remember the smell. He’d gotten in with a gang at his school, and they’d started making him smash car windows and steal booze. It’d been fun, till he got caught. Luckily he only got cautioned, and didn’t get to spend time in youth correction. “I’m damn lucky I didn’t end up in a youth correction center. I can’t believe some of the things I used to do,” he laughed, laying back on his bed, staring at the ceiling, “Maybe that’s why Irja’s so … I dunno … Quick to jump to conclusions? Anyway…Enough of my moping, I’m going to shut up now. I sound like a proper emo girl,” he snorted, and rolled onto his side, staring at his pile of clothes and stuff on the floor.
[no worries ^_^]

"Ja, you're more than lucky. I've heard of so many kids getting locked up in those places," he shook his head. It was true that he enjoyed a drink here and there, but sometimes he had to wonder about some people his age. He'd heard so many horror stories about drugs, that he just couldn't comprehend why anyone would do them, but he was glad that his friend was no longer doing them.[/font]
