Okay, So the scenery was somewhat relaxing... wouldn't that be the perfect reason to spend your day here. Now for Nathaniel. His reason was to get away. Get away from the nagging voices of his parents, who frequently called his cell to see what he was doing. Make one mistake...He would never live it down. It was official.
A soft sigh escaped his lips as he stepped along the sandy shore. It was a quiet, a bit too much for his comfort, but void of his parents criticizing his every step. A smile broke his expression as the water lapped up around his ankles, wetting them. This however was no change. By the looks of it, Nate had already been swimming. His black hair was stringy and tousled about, water dripping from each strand. His chest was bare, yet glistening with the salty liquid and white trunks with red flames on the side covered his middle.
He had Taken a dip or two. A step to relieve himself from the Miami heat. It wasn't like he wasn't used to it though, he had grown up in Miami after all. Stopping, Nate looked down at his things: a towel, sunglasses, t-shirt, and his cell phone. Picking up his cellphone, he opened it. Three missed calls, all from his parents. Just as he suspected.
{{Gah.. its horrible... i'm so... messy today}}

Candice was walking along the beach. Her hair was pulled back. Unlike most girls, she liked to swim with her bikini plus her daisy duke blue jean shorts. She was contemplating on getting in the water when she noticed someone she recongnized. She walked over to him and smiled.
"Hi I am candice." she said, holding her hand out for him to shake.

Rose was walking on the beach. She stared off into the waves just wondering about random stuff. She sighed and shook her head. She had no idea that there was anyone else on the beach today. Even though it was hot out she still wore jeans. But a black halter top to even it out. The water had soaked the bottoms of them. Her mp3 was at her dorm charging. It made her mad that she didn't have it
She looked back out to the ocean. Next thing she knew her shoulder hit something...no, it was someone. She stumbled back a few paces and came back to reality. "I-I'm sorry." She said stuttering a bit. Her hair whipped around her face. She smiled. "I'm Rose" She said akwardly to Nate. It took her awhile to realize that it was Candice she ran into.

He hadn't really noticed that someone had walked up to him, and when he glanced up, he was slightly startled. The girl standing there was familiar. He had probably seen her around the school, but she didn't look like the type of person that would conversate with his type in school. Being the gentleman that he normally was, Nathaniel took her hand and shook it gently, then nodded to Rose. " Hey.. I'm Nate" He said with a half smile before releasing his grip on her hand and resting them on his knees.

Rose smiled. She felt more comfortable with Candice there. Either way she thought Nate was really cute. She dug her bare heel into the sand. "Hey Candice." She said not taking her eyes off of him. She was praying that Candice knew him. She just hoped that his personality could back up his looks.

Nathaniel gave a gentle smile before Looking at candice, then over to Rose. Candace looked dressed for swimming, But rose still wore jeans and a tank top. What did it matter, To each his own. He glanced up, looking at her facial expression. Her Eyes... they were, for a lack of words, beautiful. Startling actually. A greyish blue color that struck him and stuck in his mind. "Wow. you've got beautiful eyes" He said lightly giving a smile. before looking down at his phone, which was vibrating on his towel. He picked it up opened it and closed it, knowing exaclty who it was. "So.. " He added, glancing at Candice then at Rose and back to the ocean.

Candice smiled at Rose. "Hey Rose." she said. She then felt slightly akward. Candice was sort of like friends with Rose, but she didn't really know Nathaniel. "How about I leave and let you two talk?" she said.
OCC: I can leave if you two want your characters to be alone..I'd hate to..intrude..or something like that...

OOC: your choice
Rose blushed a bit. "Why, thank you." She said. It was all to formal but then again so was his compliment. She smiled sweetly. She looked anywhere but at him. She couldn't help but laugh at Candice's comment. She smiled but didn't reply. She decided to leave that question to Nate. She watched as he got his phone. From the look on his face she guessed it was his parents. She didn't want Candice to feel left out but she did want to get to know Nate.

Nate looked up from his now sitting position, looking from Candice to Rose. He was never one to turn someone away, Company was good. " Would love for you to stay, Candice... but its your choice." He gave a smile before pushing the wet strands of hair from his eyes, they tended to fall there more frequently once his hair started to dry. " I was actually gonna start surfing here soon, once High tide comes in, if you would like to join me..." This question was directed at both of them. He could grab a couple of boards from the rental place.

Rose nodded in agreement. Having Candice there would make it 1. less akward 2. less embarassing. "Sure...but I haven't really surfed much or at all." She said sort of laughing at herself. She had been living in Miami for four years and didn't know how to surf. The wind whipped her hair around so she pulled it back into a bun that was loose but would hold well. She shook her head to test it and smiled.

Candice smiled. "Okay then I will stay." she said. Candice liked meeting new people and talking to new people and these two seemed like interesting company to her. Which was good cause she need someone new to talk too. "Surfing? That sounds fun. I haven't been in a long time. Where I moved we didn't live near water you could surf, only fish at." she said. "I guess I am up for it." said Candice.
OOC: wrong account..my bad..

{{Wrong account *cheeky smile*}}
Nate smiled at Candice "Wonderful... So you know how to surf for the most part. I've always lived here, so I've had plenty of time to learn." He smiled before standing up and pointing over to a small shack on the beach "We can get our equiment there" Then, he glanced at Rose. She didn't know how to surf? No problem, He and Candice could teach her easily. " You'll learn... promise" He gave a smile and moved towards the shack "But you'll need a shorter board that me and Candice.. it's always good to start on a short board.. a lot easier too"

Candice nodded, agreeing with Nate. "Yeah it took me forever to learn so I was on a short board for a long time." said Candice. "Hopefully you are more graceful then me." she said. "That way, you won't be on a short board as long as I was. So I might be a bit rusty, I haven't been in a long time." said Candice, looking at Nate. "I warn you guys, beware cause if I haven't done something for a while, I tend to have to learn all over again sometimes. It one of the many flaws I have." she said smiling.

Rose laughed a bit. She was a bit weirded out by the promise part. "Okay." She said making the word longer than it needed to be. "I learn quick so we'll see." She said. She walked toward the shack next to Nate. She was exited and nervous at the same time. She'd always wanted to learn to surf but never really went out and did it. She guessed it'd be fun.

Candice followed behind the two. She hoped she wasn't too bad at this. It had been a while since she'd done this. It was the last time she went to the beach in Texas which was like a year ago. "You'll do fine." said Candice to Rose.
