To be honest, Alex didn’t even know why he was always trying to deny that one night involving 'the kiss'. Knowing Alex, he probably didn’t want to ruin his reputation or give out the wrong impression. Alex had his arms folded still, which didn’t really help when he tried to argue against being called ‘Mr Whiney Emo’. “Fuck off” He said simply, “I’m perfectly ordinary” He said with a smug smile, “Compared to you anyway, and leave out the emo comments already” He added. It was easy to annoy Alex.
Looking down at his red and black checked vans, Alex didn’t see the strange look Ryuu had given him yet again. He looked up eventually as the boy next to him spoke. He couldn’t keep a straight face, he thought Ryuu was joking, even if he had his serious face on. Alex let out the loud burst of laughter, “I know you’re a greasy whore Ryuu” He replied with a smirk, but he was joking. He didn’t think Ryuu was being serious, it was sometimes hard to tell.

Back down in Brooklyn, I'm so hard Naked with the lady, crashed my car Maxed out all of my credit cards, black out in Brooklyn Brooklyn!
Ryuu pretended to be offended, and pouted in a similar way to Alex. “I’m soooo sorry, Mr. MCR,” he laughed, and stepped away, in case of a punch to the arm. He nodded in agreement when Alex compared himself to Ryuu. It was true, not many people out did Ryuu when it came to weirdness. Ryuu was in a league of his own.
He scowled as Alex tried not to laugh, and told him quite plainly he was indeed a whore. Sighing heavily, he seemed to become deflated, and stared at the ground. He looked up just in time to spot a news agent, and grabbed Alex’s wrist and dragged him in. Feeling himself blush when he realised he was holding Alex’s wrist, he quickly dropped it and meandered to the cash register with the cute blonde he knew. “Hey babes, how’s things?” he purred, leaning on the counter and winking at her. She giggled, and thrust out her chest in an attempt to make herself look a couple of cup sizes bigger. He glanced back and gave Alex the ‘I did this one’ look, before turning back to her and glancing up at her through his eyelashes. “What’ll it be honey-bun?” she asked in a giggly, high-school cheerleader kind of voice. Ryuu almost gagged, he hated nicknames and giggly high-school cheerleader voices. “Pack of golds,” he said casually, nodding to a row of the cigarettes he liked. She giggled again, and handed one over. “Have a nice day,” she said, and Ryuu winked again, leaving the shop as quickly as he’d entered.
“Sorry ‘bout that. Haven’t had a smoke all day,” he winged when they were back outside, lighting one and drawing on it hungrily.

Alex opened his mouth to say something to defend his favourite band, but decided it wasn't really worth it. So he left it at that.
He was too busy staring across the road at a funky looking clothes shop to realise he was being dragged into a newsagents by Ryuu. He wasn't paying attention to the wrist grabbing either, and he didn't think anything of it. He took in his surroundings, wondering whether to buy anything. Alex had to stop himself from laughing again as the girl behind the counter giggled, Ryuu was such a flirt, and he wondered where the rumours came from about him?
He rolled his eyes at the look on Ryuu's face and turned around to flick through the pages of the latest 'Kerrang!' magazine. He found it more interesting, and was just about to flick to the latest 'Madina Lake' news when Ryuu turned to leave.
Sooner than he knew it they were both back on the streets heading north down the concrete pavement. Alex shook his head at his friend, "Oh dear, how would you have survived?" He said sarcastically. Alex smoked, but not heavily, he rarely did compared to Ryuu.
"Hang on" He said, with a smirk, "You didn't pay for them" he said, just realising. "Nice one" he added with a laugh, and another roll of his bright turquoise eyes.

Ryuu shrugged, twirling the cigarette in his fingers and tipping his head back to blow a trail of smoke. Someone behind him moaned about it, and he turned and stuck his middle finger up at them. He suddenly remembered that buying cigarettes had distracted him from being mad with Alex. “Oh…right…where was I…Oh yeah…God! You never take me seriously! No one does. It really pisses me off,” he moaned, glaring at the pavement and kicking a stone onto the road, crossing his arms huffily. He hated it that no one ever took him seriously. He was just everyone’s sex toy and the free entertainment on the side of every party. No one ever listened to him when he really wanted it. Unless you counted Irja’s nagging, but Ryuu didn’t.

Alex laughed at Ryuu's sudden outburst, "Sorry dude" He said, with one hand up defensively, "How am I supposed to know when you are being serious?" He asked, which was a fair enough question. It was sometimes difficult to tell whether Ryuu was joking around or not. "You give out the wrong impression, thats why" He laughed shakily.
He glanced over at Ryuu, he could tell now that it was pissing him off. "Why all this sulking now?" He said with a grin, trying his best to be... comforting. "What's bugging you?" He asked, there must be something to bring this on all of a sudden.

He shook his head, reaching out to push Alex’s hand down again, his fingers tingling at the touch but he ignored it. “No, don’t stress it mate. I’m sorry. I wait till these things…explode, if you know what I mean,” he frowned, raking his brain for what to say. The whole truth or the surface? He wasn’t sure. But telling him on the street might not help, so he opted for the surface of his problems. Alex asking why he was sulking made him laugh faintly, but he wasn’t in the mood for running around guffawing at every little thing. “Well…Bill called me a greasy whore the other day. I’m just…I dunno, it really got to me,” he sighed, biting his lip, “And when my brother gets here and finds out what I’ve been up to. In a nut shell, I’m fucked.” Irja was a force to be reckoned with when he was mad, and Ryuu was positive that Irja has a nice big lecture for him waiting. Joy of joys.

Alex continued looking ahead of him, he seemed more interested in looking where he was going. He wasn't too good at the comforting kind of thing, but it was worth a shot.
He put his hands back in his jean pockets again, and turned to look at Ryuu, his piercing blue eyes on his best friends face. He held back his laughter again, that wouldn't help, "When have you ever cared what people call you?" He asked, when Ryuu said Bill's insult actually got to him, "Well..." He began, with a small grin on his face, "It looks like Bill likes you now, so what's it matter, maybe if you invested in some shampoo?" He joked. Alex couldn't let that one slip, he thought it was too funny, an old joke, but still.
Alex rolled his eyes, "He's not going to find out if no one tells him" He replied simply, to the comment about Ryuu's twin. "Besides, what's he going to do?" He asked, not seeing what the big deal really was.

Ryuu almost laughed at Alex’s joke, but he didn’t ever find that funny to begin with. “You of all people should know I don’t show my emotions very well. I don’t let people know they’ve got to me but …” his brow furrowed thoughtfully. He’d never been good about talking about his feelings or emotions. He preferred to just have a laugh all the time, but life didn’t work like that, unfortunately. “And as for Irja… Arguing with Irja’s no small thing. He gets really worked up. I hate seeing him pissed. Then he tells…dad…Dad’s not as forgiving as Irja. He’ll take my car away or something this time. Last time I did something bad he kicked me, Irja and Kailie and his pregnant girlfriend out the house. We had no where else to go. They still blame me for that,” he sighed, and continued glaring at the floor sulkily. He almost forgot the turning to go towards the mall, and he turned sharply, walking right into Alex, grabbing his shirt to stop himself falling. Swearing under his breath, he had to force himself to let go of his shirt, and didn’t look at him. “Sorry … Wasn’t looking,” he mumbled, drawing on his cigarette embarrassedly.

Alex gave a small smile, "You shouldn't let people get to you" He said plainly, to Alex it didn't matter what others said about you, the people who cared about you know the truth. He didn't really know what to reply with next, Ryuu and him never really talked about these kind of things. Guys didn't discuss personal things with each other, they just had a laugh most of the time. He opened his mouth to say something, that ought to be helpful but yelped as Ryuu grabbed his shirt and made him jump. His sudden outburst made him sound like a girl, and he was sure that if Ryuu was his usual self he would have been teased about it.
He covered his shock with a laugh, and straightened out his bright t-shirt. "Look, it wasn't your fault" He said, even though he didn't know what happened. "We'll just make sure Irja doesn't find out anything you don't want him to, got it?" He added, sounding quite stern, and his tone showed that he was prepared to stick by Ryuu whatever.

“I know, I know, but I still do,” he laughed at himself, and rolled his eyes, flicking the cigarette away and hoping it landed in someone’s hair. Ryuu felt embarrassed. He knew guys ‘weren’t supposed to’ talk about these kinds of things, but Ryuu really felt the need to get some things off his chest to Alex who was his best friend. Tom was a good friend, but Ryuu didn’t feel comfortable telling him things, especially if they were to do with Bill. Irja was also a good option, but he wasn’t sure if they were on those kinds of terms anymore. His brothers had all been very pissed with him before he left home/got them all kicked out. “Sorry I’ve just dumped this all on you but it was bugging me…You can moan to me about what ever you like, promise,” he grinned, hoping Alex would let him cheer him up in his special way next time he was a bit down.
Ryuu was glad Alex had laughed, instead of thrown a fit about grabbing him inappropriately or something. He blushed anyway, and looked away, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “Yeah, Irja’s not a bright spark. I’ll cover up somehow,” he laughed “Any guy that plays the violin can’t be hard to fool,” he snorted, and mimed playing the violin in a silly, girly way, before falling about laughing, releasing his nerves gladly.

Alex continued dragging his scuffed up vans, and turned his head to face the buildings ahead of them. He laughed quietly, “I don’t mind dude, you can tell me anything right” He answered simply, “Its not like I’m much help anyway” He grinned.
He frowned slightly as he watched Ryuu’s actions, why was he acting all embarrassed? Surely it wasn’t the fact of discussing something close to home, no it was something else. But Alex couldn’t work out what it was. He decided not to question his friend; it was probably nothing, whatever it was anyway. Alex ignored his observations and laughed at the last comment, “Violin?” he repeated, his eyebrows raised in a slight unbelieving way.
He turned his head; they were nearing the mall now, “Right, lets hurry and get the drinks in” he said with a smirk, hoping to cheer Ryuu up.

Ryuu snorted, punching Alex in the arm playfully, “You’d make a crap shrink,” he grinned, looking down and picking his fingers absent-mindedly. Ryuu was feeling distracted, and Alex seemed to be cottoning on to his strange behaviour. This was bad. Luckily, a couple of hot girls walked past and he eyed them hungrily. “Heeeey ladies,” he purred, and they giggled, waving at him and fluttering their eyelashes. Hopefully Alex’s doubts of his sexuality would be cleared…but then again, that wasn’t likely after he’d told him about Bill.
Ryuu punched the air, and grinned, his bright green eyes sparkled excitedly. “Fuck ya, I’m parched!” he exclaimed, coming up to the front doors of the mall. He skipped inside, blasted by the freezing air conditioning, and started heading towards the west wing of the mall.
[can’t be bothered to make a new thread at the mall >_<]

Alex had stuffed his hands into his pockets again; it was becoming a bad habit these days. He laughed; he would make a crap shrink that was a fact. Shrugging, he ignored the nervous look on Ryuu’s face. He wasn’t going to let it bug him.
He was thankful when a few girls walked by, Ryuu’s reaction meant he was back to normal again. Alex rolled his eyes, and walked cautiously behind the skipping Ryuu into the crowded mall. “Will you stop doing that?!” He said with a laugh, as he watched his excited friend. He carefully dodged a screaming toddler and followed Ryuu’s lead. He was about to repeat himself, by saying he walked like a girl, but that would most likely lead to Alex being girly himself, so he kept quiet.

He turned and walked backwards for a bit, showing off by turning the corner flawlessly and winking at a girl he spotted. The wing of the mall behind him was very quiet, and the shops were dank and uninteresting. Most were tacky souvenir stores, or everything-for-a-dollar shops. Ryuu turned round again, and headed to the end of the wing where a black fronted shop stood, somehow isolated even though it touched the shop next to it. The bold white lettering above the door proudly announced the shop was ‘Underground’ and the throbbing bass under Ryuu’s feet was very inviting.
Inside, it was very dark and there was a smoky haze in the air. The clothes all looked untouched, and some even had cobwebs on them. The floor was weathered grey wood, as were the shelves. At the counter, a young girl with about fifty thousand piercings on her face and ears was leaning against the wall smoking crack. Ryuu nodded to her, and she smirked, blowing a puff of smoke in his direction.
A stair case at the back of the shop leads to the real shop. There were lots of tables in the same wood from upstairs, and a stage where a band of young boys were screaming and bashing away. Ryuu quickly went to a table at the far side of the room, near the bar. He winked at the bar maid, who pushed out her chest - which was already pushed up by the gothic looking corset thing she was wearing - and glanced at him under her thick black eyelashes. Ryuu sat down heavily and got out another cigarette. “Welcome to the Underground,” he said in his husky, ‘manly hot guy’ voice, gesturing to the seat opposite him. A few people on other tables turned and waved at him or made the metal sign at him. He didn’t return the gestures, too intent on his cigarette.
[it’s so fun describing Underground =D]

Alex shook his head but smiled anyway as he turned the corner as well. Looking at the surroundings around him, Alex could barely remember this part of the mall even existing. He swore he had been here before, probably with Ryuu, but he wasn’t sure. He couldn’t remember the place anyway. Reading the sign above him in capital letters didn’t trigger a memory either.
He reluctantly followed Ryuu into the shop, but was quite interested as to what was inside. Alex raised his eyebrows, without even realising he was doing so as he looked around the shop, it didn’t seem like it saw much business. The stock looked brand new and old at the same time.
Alex continued down a set of stairs, and he realised this is where the main interest was. The music was loud, and genuinely the type Alex listened to. He took his seat next to Ryuu, still looking around. He seemed to be slightly out of place, his clothes seemed too neat. He couldn’t help but laugh at the barmaid’s instant reaction to Ryuu, is this how every girl greeted him. It was rather amusing. “Quite the face here I see” he finally said to Ryuu, with a smirk, as he placed his elbows on the black bar table.
ooc; lol (: seems like a cool place. i can just imagine alex not fitting in... +i didn't really know what to put thats why my replys 'blah'
