Eddie walked along the hallway, his bag over his shoulder, heading straight for his locker as if he had something important in there, which he didn't of course he was just in a hurry.
The day had been what is known by some people as crap he had got a detention in History for not handing his homework in and another detention in PE for not turning up to the lesson, bloody teachers. What was the point of the bloody lessons anyway?
He opened his locker and pulled out book after book of revision and work. He wasn't in the greatest of moods today, he ran a hand through his hair as he stopped to think about the next day, about the more lessons he was going to have to attend.

Ryuu - a fairly imposing student with wide shoulders and about 5’ 11” on his height - walked jauntily down the hallway. Various people waved at him, or gave him a high-5 as he walked past. Ryuu was surprisingly popular, seeming as he was pretty much the class clown and a voracious rule breaker. Surprisingly, Ryuu was in a good mood. He’d just had French, which was the one of the only things he was really any good at (other than drama, but everyone’s good at that) although you could say he cheated a little seeming as he grew up in Dijon. Reaching his locker, he threw down his tatty postman’s bag and twisted his lock to the right combination. It opened, and about ten books and a load of papers fell out on to the floor.
“Fuck!” he exclaimed, looking exasperated. Bending down he scooped them up and shoved them back into the locker without giving thought to all the papers that got crushed beyond saving into the back of the locker. After grabbing a couple of books for the next lesions, he spotted Edward Elis, and his eyes narrowed. Shutting his locker and picking up his bag, he sauntered over and smiled falsely.
“Hi there Eddie,” he said, sounding surprisingly nice. Despite his friendly façade, he was actually trying very hard not to hurt the smarmy little prick very badly.

Hearing a crash of books and papers, Eddie looked up and saw...oh god, it was the class clown and rebel of everything Ryuu James. Eddie had got to know Ryuu over IM so he knew him vagley.
Surprisingly the rebel came over to him...that was quiet a shock. "Oh heya Ryuu." Eddie muttered, smiling at the boy.
"How are you?" he asked him, watching him. He seemed abit too friendly today, but Eddie didn't say anything.

Ryuu crossed his arms, and leant against the lockers, putting his foot up.
“Oh, I’m fine. Heard you had a nice time with Holly at Sierra last night,” he was still smiling, but his bright green eyes were cold and hard. His smile was stiff, plastic and meaningless. There was a terrible anger surging in his gut, but he couldn’t lash out, not yet. He had to wait for a good reason or trigger. Just randomly beating people up wasn’t Ryuu’s thing. That was Jay’s job, and, quite frankly, Ryuu didn’t want to tread on Jay’s toes because that was like juggling nukes.

The words left Ryuu's mouth and had hit Eddie like a fire bolt. He stopped putting his books in his bag and closed his locker as if he was ready to get going, locking it without saying anything, he swung the bag over his shoulder and lent against the locker, staring at Ryuu.
"What do you mean?" he asked, staring hard at the fellow Senior. "A. How did you find out about it, and B. we didn't do anything, she got annoyed actually." Eddie really really wasn't in the mood.

Nodding, Ryuu laughed nastily. When he wanted to be, Ryuu could be a horrible person. And that’s just an understatement, but we won’t go there.
“Really?” he grinned, drawing out the word for dramatic effect, or something like that. His eyes narrowed, and in a flash he’d grabbed Edward’s collar and shoved his back up against the lockers hard. Twisting the fabric in his hand, he got right up in Ed’s face, green eyes burning into his.
“If you even think about trying to mess up Holly’s relationship, you’ll have my fist to answer to, got it?” he hissed, his grip tightening further.
“Who the fuck do you think you are? Kissing a pregnant woman! You make me sick, Edward Elis,” he spat, pushing Edward away, fists clenched. He turned, trying to suppress the anger that was fighting to burst its way out. Unfortunately for Edward, Ryuu had always had a bit of an anger management problem, and he spun on his heels, slapping Edward in the face as hard as he could.
“Don’t you dare touch her again,” he hissed menacingly, before spitting at Edward’s feet and walking away. If he stayed any longer, there’d be blood on the floor.

Edward grabbed his face as he felt Ryuu's hand hit him. He was breathing hard, watching Ryuu walk away, a smile spread across his face.
"Why do you have the right to say that Ryuu James? We are both her friends, or do you have feelings for her?" he asked, grinning.
He wasn't going to bother with Ryuu, he didn't care, he didn't care about what Ryuu thought, Ryuu was just a boy with anger mangement problems who thought he was king of the school, and Holly...yes she was lovely, but maybe he should have controlled his feelings for her.

Ryuu turned; his whole body was tense with self control.
“Because Holly is my best friend, and I’m not having some selfish little faggot ruin her relationship,” he said matter-of-factly.
“And I wish I didn’t have to keep telling people, but I’m gay. So no feelings for Holly going on here. I could easily demonstrate that for you if you don’t get the picture,” he smirked, his voice terse and he winked teasingly, turning away again. His head was down slightly, and he felt a little bad now the dust had cleared. But what else could he do? He loved Holly, yes. He cared for her like the sister he didn’t have, and he’d hate it if someone stupid like Edward ruined her relationship with PJ. He didn’t want Coli to be without his dad, like Ryuu’s own son. For this reason, Ryuu felt like he had to protect Holly, and maybe he was being too upfront with that, but he didn’t really care. Ryuu was going to make sure Holly and PJ didn’t have to go through the crap him and Claire had, and if Edward was in his way he’d just have to give him a piece of his mind. Stopping, he bent down to take a drink from the water fountain.

Ryuu jumped when PJ spoke, and he looked round. He wasn’t really sure what to say. Opening his mouth, he lost his train of thought, and shut it again. Whilst he stood there doing a goldfish impression, his mind was racing. What the fuck was he going to say to PJ? That he was yelling at Edward for kissing Holly. Where did that place him then? PJ would certainly want to know why Ryuu was concerned about that in the least. Instead of digging his grave, he just shrugged, glancing to Edward and back.

Edward looked after Ryuu, the boy was weak, not going further with the bullying side of things. He rolled his eyes and turned to go then froze once more, looking back. Oh shit.
It was PJ, Holly's boyfriend and husband to be. Eddie's eyes went to Ryuu, seeing him look at him, he wasn't going to say anything, he didn't want PJ to start having a go at him as well.
Shrugging, he turned to go, not wanting Ryuu to say anything, he just wanted to get away from here and get to class.

When Ed turned to leave, Ryuu made up his mind. Moving closer to PJ, he leaned in to mutter something in his ear. You never knew what kind of gossip people would make up over a simple argument.
“That, my friend, is a very dead man,” he said cryptically, glaring over at the retreating form of Edward. He knew Holly hadn’t told PJ yet, and knew perfectly well why. She wouldn’t have wanted to freak him out, because things like that were easily miss interpreted.
“Romeo here thought it was a good idea to kiss a pregnant woman,” he added, jerking his head towards Edward, his eyes glittering menacingly.
“Holly didn’t tell you because she didn’t want you to worry,” he added, biting his lip nervously. Would Holly be angry at him for telling PJ? He wasn’t sure but…hearing things like that second hand wasn’t a whole bundle of fun.

Elana came up and saw Eddie walking away, she ran towards him, "Edward wait up." she said running in front of him "Edward what is going on? Why is Ry giving you that look?" she said glancing back at Ryuu. She had know idea what was going on and here she was, caught between the fight between what looked like Ryuu and Edward with it looks like PJ being pulled into it as well, not knowing that PJ's girlfriend -- soon to be wife -- was part of why this fight is happening.

Edward turned to see Elena coming after him. "Elena." he said, and looked towards Ryuu, seeing him whisper in to PJ's ear. "Oh its nothing, its just Ryuu is getting a bit over protective of one of his friends. She can look after her self you know." he said the last bit slightly louder then he ment to. "How are you Elena." he said starting to walk on.

"I'm ok, I'm just watching out for one of my friends as well." she said meaning that she was watching over Edward. She knew that getting on Ryuu's bad side was not a good idea, she saw her cousin get into an arguement with Ry and that is all Deidra talks about and Elana is getting sick and tired of it. She was wondering what happened. She looked to see where Ryuu had slapped Eddie across the face, "Oh my god Eddie who did that to you? Was that from Ryuu?" she said really worried about Eddie, "and who is this she?"
