She blinked, shocked that Jay Farr was crying actually crying. It took her a while to walk after him, she wasn't just going to leave. Although a minute ago she just wanted to run back to school and find Liam. Quietly she walked over to where he know sat, head in hands. Reagan placed herself next to him, "Don't cry you idiot" She said, her tone light, trying to force a smile, although it was very difficult. The past few months had been tough, but not as tough as this moment right now. What was she supposed to say to him?
They sat in silence for what seemed minutes, and then Reagan finally looked over at him, he still hadn't looked up. "Look Jay, I don't know what to say..." She began, feeling awkward, "I'm sorry, but Liam...I can't like..." She muttered. She couldn't help but think of Liam right now, they'd just got together, she didn't want that to end. But she didn't want to lose Jay either.

He muttered something under his breath, ignoring her don’t cry comment. He knew he was an idiot, and didn’t need Reagan to remind him. Already he was plotting out the quickest way to kill himself in a motorcycle accident. He was fed up, at the end of his tether. Everything he loved got taken away from him, to love was to destroy. This time, it was himself that had been destroyed. Unsure how much worse this could get, he looked up, and stared at Reagan with bloodshot eyes from pressing the heal of his palm into them so hard. “I know. I’d never ask that of you. You two are…just…right….for each other,” the words caught in his throat, and he realised how stupid he was being. He was crying over a girl for Christ’s sake. “I’m just…Pissed off with myself…” he bit his lip again, glancing at the floor. He’d promised himself he’d never think about his mum and sister again, and he just did, breaking his promise. Jay wasn’t one to go back on his word, and it was a second knife in his heart.

Reagan hated this, she didn't like seeing Jay upset, but she couldn't hug him or anything; after what he had just let out she was afraid to give out the wrong impression. She didn't want to take the risk of hurting Liam. "Jay, please, please stop crying" She said quietly, as he looked up at her, his eyes scarily bloodshot.
She fought the urge to look away from his face, it would be so much easier to talk to him if she didn't have to see the pain in his eyes. "Why are you pissed off at yourself...?" She asked, not understanding this either, she often found him quite a complicated person to understand. This wasn't helping. "You haven't done anything wrong" She told him, stopping herself from physically comforting him once again. Reagan had never liked the word love.

He smiled weakly, wiping his face with the hem of his shirt. “I have, silly,” he said quietly, feeling the knife twisting again. How could he be friends with her ever again? It’d be too…awkward. He glanced at the motorbike, wondering how long it’d take to get into a serious crash. Perhaps…if he got up the right speed, he could ‘loose control’ of it. Yeah, that’d work. Smash into a wall. It wouldn’t take long to kill him. Then he’d be with his mum and sister again, and he wouldn’t have to worry about anything. There was nothing left for him. “Because…I…I just mess up everything. Look, I’m going to go for a ride,” he said, standing up and going to put on his jacket. He turned to look at her wistfully. “Bye,” the word was so final and…beautiful. He felt adrenalin coursing through his body, like it knew what he was about to do. He mounted the bike, and turned the key in the ignition, before kick-starting it to life. The engine sprung into life, roaring like a ferocious animal. His animal. It’d be a shame to ruin such a beautiful bike, but he wouldn’t need to use it anymore…He revved it up violently, before wheeling it round and trundling out of the parking lot with increasing speed. He got onto the road, and let it go, speeding at about twice the limit, his head bent against the wind. He had left his helmet on the wall.
The bike was jerky in his hands, and it seemed desperate to kill him before he made the decision consciously. He closed his eyes for a moment, and took a steadying breath, before he swerved violently. The rear wheel of the bike slipped onto its side, spinning the bike and crushing Jay’s leg underneath it. He swore violently, he’d not done it right. He let go of the bike, and kicked it away with his good leg, and it smashed into the wall of a near by building. He struggled to sit up, and touched the back of his head, breathing a sigh of relief when he found no blood. The same could not be said for his leg, however, and he tried to move it. There was a crunching sound as the fractured bone splintered, and he swore again, fiery pain shooting up his leg.
[Ha-ha oops x3. Stupid Jay D=]

She shook her head, trying to make him understand she wasn't annoyed at him, but she couldn't bring herself to say anything. Nothing she would have said would have helped the situation. He smiled weakly, wiping his face with the hem of his shirt. "No Jay wait!" She said when he turned to climb onto his black motorcycle, but he wasn't listening to her. She didn't understand why he was saying Bye to her, it sounded as if it was the last time he would ever see her. "Jay what..." She called over the loud noise from the engine. She watched him drive off down the road, it was much to fast for her liking. He was going to get himself hurt. Standing there watching him, she felt the tears wedge behind her eyes, but she was not going to cry. She'd see him in school, things would be fine tomorrow.
Slowly turning around, Reagan caught the image of Jay's helmet from the corner of her eye. It was still sitting on the wall, Jay never rode without it, he'd made her wear it last time. She grabbed it with on of her shaky hands, and looked around quickly to see if Jay had vanished from sight. Deciding he couldn't have gone that far, despite the immense speed he was travelling at, she started to run down the road, not caring about the strange looks she received from people arriving at work.
---
Reagan dropped the helmet, and it landed with a clash on the concrete below her. All she could see infront of her was Jay and his motorbike, it was like the past car crash happening all over again. She ran over as fast as she could without falling over, "Jay, What the hell did you do!" She yelled coming to a stop beside him, herself nearly in hysterics. She couldn't tell if she was overacting or not, as she bent down to see if he was hurt. "Shit...Are you hurt?" She asked frantically, fiddling around in her jacket for her mobile phone.
She had to get over her feelings and concentrate on getting help. This time Jay would definetely need a new motorcycle. Thank God he wasn't hurt that badly.
