Astoria shut the lid of her silver laptop, which autmatically put it on standby. After deciding to meet up with Parker at the movies, she was happier than she had been in a long while.
She hadn't really been out in a long while. Nerd as she was, she'd been stuck in school, doing music homework, afraid to bother her friends. The fact that she was meeting up with Parker was something else, she was totally crushing over him. But hopefully no one knew.
She checked her outfit in the mirror, her faded grey drain pipes and 'Spongebob' t-shirt should do fine. Running a brush through her flaming red hair, and checking her extensions didn't look tacky, she decided she was ready to leave. Astoria had told Parker she'd be there in an hour, which was a lie, she'd most likely be early. As always.
Her small black bag was slung over her shoulder as she happily made her way out of the school building. She reached the cinema in record time. Crap, she was too early. Now she'd have to wait around, oh well time to check the cinema schedule. She walked over to the large board showing all the films, and traced her finger down the suitable times.

Parker had been talking to Astoria on IM, they always had the most random conversations. They were talking about Jack Black, and movies, and vegetables and the last name Shneebley. He loved talking to her, she always seemed to laugh at his jokes and always seemed to want to talk to him. Which was a change from his other friends, who normally got really fed up with him and ended up continually ditching him. He shut his laptop, plugging it in by his bed to charge. He walked over to his closet, which looked like it could explode, and pulled a random shirt off a hanger. It was dark green with a collar. He pulled it over his head, pulling a belt out of a random pile of stuff. He put the belt in the beltloops of his jeans and fastened it, pulling a grey sweatshirt off a hanger. He stuck his arms in the armholes of it at the same time as he slid his feet into a pair of black and white checkered vans. He shoved his keys and his cell into his hoodie pocket as he walked past the table where they lay, checking his hair in the mirror fleetingly before he walked out the door. He drove from the student parking lot to the theatre and parked there. He walked up and looked for Astoria, finding her rather quickly. Well, it wasn't like he could miss her. Who else had hair like hers? He loved it... one of the many things he loved about her. He walked up behind her as she stood at the times board and put his head on her shoulder, "Hey princess."
ooc; sorry i took so freaking long i got distracted XD

Astoria smiled and couldn't help but laugh, Parker was such the charmer. Or he tried to be. "Hey" She giggled. Tucking he long red hair behind her small ears, she turned herself around. "See I'm not that much small than you!" She said to him randomly, after noticing his head was only just capable of resting on her shoulder.
Smiling proudly she looked at him, she couldn't help think he looked cute. But she wouldn't say that; that wasn't Astoria. She'd only ever had one proper crush, she wasn't an expert on this kind of stuff. "How are you then?" She asked, after checking the time on her phone, "Not to disappointed about missing Mean Girls?" She laughed. She couldn't even remember what film they'd decided on in the end, even though it was roughly half an hour ago that the two were talking on IM.

Parker smiled slightly as Astoria laughed. He loved her laugh, it was so girly and delicate like her. He moved his head off her shoulder as she turned, and smiled at her greeting. "No, you're growing. Good job!" He laughed, she had said something about him being almost as tall as her or something. They were midget buddies. Self-proclaimed dwarves for life (: "I'm great, your lovely self?" He asked as she checked her phone. He looked slightly mad as she laughed at him, but play mad he couldn't ever get mad at her. "Shut up, okay? It's a great movie!" He smiled, Astoria and other pretty girls made him smile like every other guy in existance.

"I've been eating my vegetables, as I said" She grinned, which wasn't exactly true, because she did anyway, and they hadn't helped her grow much in the past. Useless.
"Yeah I'm super, well now that I'm out of the school" She laughed, she hadn't been out properly in ages, she felt like some kind of social reject. But that was just because she had a large music project to get done, and she studied extra hard on it. She nodded, "I was joking" She said defensively, with a huge grin on her face. "So what have you been up to, since I saw you last? Which was like what, forever ago..." She asked, part of that not even making sense.

Parker would never see why anyone would want to grow. As he saw it, he had a perfect view of the world from where he was. There was nothing wrong with being smaller than most people, it was actually pretty cool. Parker nodded as she spoke. As she smiled something inside him twisted. He kind of realized how much he loved to see her smile, like more than other people. But he dismissed it. Whatever, she was a girl. He loved when they smiled. Who didn't? "Just parties, the dudes, and just hanging out I guess. What about you besides music?"
[sorry its short and bad. idk whats up with me today ): ]
