Despite the strong winds blowing her hair over her face, Reagan sat on the cold rocks by the shore. She had her iPod in her small green bag, but she preferred the natural sound of the waves.
It made her concentrate, she had a lot of things still going on in her head, that she wanted to figure out. They of course, were mainly about Holly, Jay and Liam.
Reagan was glad she had finally sorted things out between her and Holly, they were finally back to normal. Best friends. She sighed out loud, to the beach in front of her, bringing her knees up to her chin and zipping her purple hoody up, she looked up and down the beach, it was deserted. She wasn't surprised, it was quite early in the morning and not many people would be out of their dormitories.
Maybe if she took at a dig at her evergrowing homework pile she would have something to do, or she could always practice her bass guitar, but instead she had decided to take a walk down the beach. She'd go back to school in time for first period.

Liam was walking down the beach alone on this particularily windy morning. He normally wouldn't be out of bed this early but lately he'd had a lot to think about. Reagan and Holly. Well, mostly Reagan. He'd asked her out then cheated with her best friend when he was drunk. But he didn't mean it. He loved Reagan for sure for sure. But she didn't trust him anymore. Which sucks because he would have apologized in a heartbeat. Except now apparently she was with this guy who had beat him up, Holly's ex. He didn't want her with him. With anoyone but himself. It was selfush but love makes people do crazy things. He pulled his jacket tighter around as the sillouette of a person appeared before him. As he got closer he saw it was Reagan. Well, now or never. He walked up and sat beside her. "Hey."

Reagan pulled the sleeves of her jumper down so they covered her dainty hands. She was about to check her mobile phone for the time, and decided she might want to head back to school. But as she looked up she noticed Liam, it was definitely him, his height was unmistakable to her. She hadn't spoken to Liam, since the day in Starbucks which was incredibly awkward, and she had left him hanging anyway. She still wasn't sure whether or not to forgive him, although she was technically over it. Her and Holly had made up. But she could trust Holly, it was just easier. She was sure Jay wouldn't be pleased if she just snapped back with Liam, the had become good friends now, and he was in a similar situation to her.
She looked up, her hair a mess from the wind, "Hi" She replied quietly, not sure what to say with him. She sat for a moment, contemplating what to say next, "Look I'm sorry I've been really immature the past few weeks" She said, it was true, she had avoided Liam, on purpose. She thought it was childish, but Reagan did it anyway. Her comment didn't really mean anything, she had just wished she'd spoken to him sooner, because leaving it makes in worse usually.

"It's okay." Liam replied simply. And it was. It gave him time to think. If she'd been like 'okay whatever' he wouldn't have thought about what he did and known it was wrong. Her not talking to him made him wake up and realize he can't be a manwhore forever. That eventually the cherade had to stop. And it would stop with her. Right now. "I shouldn't have ever done what I did, drunk or not. I was totally out of line and I just hope you can forgive me." He looked over at her, her not looking back. He shoved his hands in his hoodie pockets and looked out to the ocean. The sun was barely begining to rise.

Reagan listened to his reply, he’d said it before, and she knew he was sorry. She knew deep down inside that it hadn’t meant to happen; Liam wasn’t the kind of guy to ask someone out then deliberately screw it up. Regardless of his reputation, she should know he hadn’t meant it, and she did, she just needed to convince herself to believe it. "I shouldn't have ever done what I did, drunk or not. I was totally out of line and I just hope you can forgive me." Knowing his response was an honest one Reagan felt slightly happier. She had been over the topic of forgiveness over and over again in the past week or so, the subject had been on repeat ever since the incident with Holly and Reagan. Reagan was usually a bitch, she never let guys get to her, she could easily dismiss anyone; love didn’t mean a thing to her. Until she met Liam. She’d never felt love, not for anyone apart from her mother. “You shouldn’t have” She agreed, “But its not like my reputation is clean, I’ve done it before, and I feel horrible...” She replied, remembering the way she used to be with guys, and was glad she had become more sensible mature. “I should have forgiven you much sooner” She explained, “Its just, I felt… well it’s not like me Liam, and no one has ever made me feel like this, I thought if I ignored it for a while I could get over you…” She finished, half her words not making sense, as she slowly lifted her head to look at him.

"Yeah well. I do, I feel horrible about this. More than you know." Liam shook his head, still staring out at the crashing waves. He listened as she talked again. That almost hurt him a little bit, but it was reassuring that she wasn't telling him to leave. It meant she still felt that way. She still liked him, because he sure as hell still liked her. He hadn't slept barely at all since the night in Seirra. He had to make things right, he just had to. And now he was. He was inwardly excited, he would finally be able to get some sleep. And she wouldn't be mad at him anymore. Things were looking up. "I've never been like this over a girl, either. This is totally new to me, and to be honest it scared me a little. I think that's subconciusly why I did it. I'm bad at relationships. I was born without the gene that makes people stay together, and me and you were working out. I had to screw it up... But now, because of the aftermath of all of that, I guess I do have the gene. Because I want to be with you and never break up..."
ooc; sorry for short replies.

“You and me both” She replied, a hint of laughter in her voice, those it wasn’t clear. Her and Liam were similar in the fact they both were scared of commitment, it was pretty frightening, you had to stay true to one person. Otherwise you could really hurt somebody. “I guess we’re both pretty hopeless” She admitted, crossing her arms trying to keep the warmth that was left in her body with her. It sure was cold this morning. Hopefully, it would brighten up later. She froze at his last comment, her reaction the same as when he had told her he loved her, it just wasn’t something she was used to. She wanted to be with Liam, but it would be hard to stay together, although she was sure it was worth it. Reagan pushed herself up from the rock with her hands, and walked slowly over to Liam who was still staring out at the ocean, the sun would be rising soon. It was early, and that triggered the thought of why Liam was out here in the first place. She smiled slightly, the height difference still made her laugh, “Well you’re forgiven, I shouldn’t have acted all bitchy over some drunken night right...I can't keep ignoring you” She said quietly, uncrossing her arms and looking over at the orange glow of the sun.

Liam listened to her talk. Her voice was melodic, he could listen to it forever. It commanded attention, like when she talked you just had to listen. Or, at least, he did. She had him hypnotized but he loved every second of it. He heard her tense up at his last comment, and what she had followed it with made him chuckle slightly. "We should be hopeless together." He grinned, out at the ocean as he took his hand out of his pocket and draped his arm over her shoulder. He looked down at her. Damn, she was pretty. She left him breathless each and everytime he saw her. He listened to her talk again and he smiled. "You had every right to, what I did was wrong. But it's good to know I'm forgiven." He said slowly, pulling her a little closer to him.

Reagan laughed, she couldn’t hold it in any longer; they were a hopeless pair. But she wouldn’t have it any other way.She instantly felt warmer as Liam put his arm around her shoulder, it felt nice even if it was just that little bit awkward. “I like hopeless” She then said after a minute of silence as she listened to him speak. She felt him pull her nearer and didn’t resist, she couldn’t bottle up her feelings up anymore. It wasn’t healthy. Shrugging at his last comment, she looked up at him, she didn’t want to say anything else on the subject, and she just wanted to put it behind her. “I would never have forgiven you” She began, “If you were someone else” She added, “But I can’t seem to forget how I feel for you…” She added, letting her head fall gently so it was resting against him, she felt slightly embarrassed, having never truly had feelings for a guy before.

As she laughed, a song popped into his head. Time After Time, by Quietdrive. The lyrics played through his head. If you're lost you can look and you will find me, time after time, If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting time after time... It made him think of her, and he decided right there that that was their song. Corny, to have a song when she wasn't really his girlfriend, but he didn't care. He loved her, he really was begining to think he did. "Me too, hopeless seems to be good for us." He listened to her talk and he swooned. She was making him feel so much better. She rested her head on him and he smiled. This was so perfect, to him. He wanted nothing more in life than for this to last forever... He looked down at her, so looked so peaceful. "Hey, can I ask you a question?"

Reagan had seemed to have completely forgotten every bad thing she had recently thought of Liam, how she had promised herself she wouldn’t run back to him no matter what he said or no matter what she felt about him. So much for that. She smiled at his reply, the word fitted them perfectly, hopelessly perfect. She didn’t think forgiving him would be this easy, she had convinced herself it would be the hardest thing she would have to do. So far. Looking up at him as he asked her something, she replied with a small nod, “Sure” she said with curiosity visible in her voice, as she breathed the smell of his aftershave. It made her smile, as she put her hands together, wrapping her sleeves over her fingers.

Liam was slightly in shock. He knew Reagan and he thought there would be no way she would forgive him this easy. There had to be something else he had forgotten to say, or a loophole or something. He shrugged it off, for once something in his life could be perfect. Or, as close as possible. And to him, Reagan was perfect. He smiled as she leaned on him and answered. "Well, this is-" He stopped. He'd never done this, but he had to suck it up, be a man, and spit it out. "Would you like to be my girlfriend? Like, properly this time." He looked down at her with a nervous smile on his face. He knew he liked her, he hoped she wouldn't say no but a little bit of him thought she would.

Reagan watched him as he started to ask whatever he had planned to ask, he seemed nervous and she found the look of concentration on his face cute. She couldn’t help but smile, she knew that he had probably never done it before, you could tell from the tone of his voice. It was funny, but adorable at the same time. She nodded, “Who could say no” She replied with a small smile, finally plucking up the courage to wrap her small arms around him.Things were so much better once you learnt to forgive and forget. She should have done that so many times in the past, things would have been so much easier, and ended up happily. Like this. The answer she’d made seemed to come without any thought to it, and Reagan was finally glad to be with Liam properly, it had felt like ages since they hadn’t spoken, although it was more like three weeks. She was determined not to screw this relationship up, and hoped Liam felt the same.

ooc; yess three of my charries are committed XD
Liam wass abseloutly flipping out when she nodded and said her witty little answer. He chuckled, everything seemed to be going in slow motion. She put her arms around him and he hugged her back, kissing her forehead. Haha cause she's so short and he's a giant. He bit his lip as he looked out at the sunrise. It was red and orange and purple and gorgeous. But not as pretty as the girl who was clinging to him. To Liam, nothing was as pretty as she was. "Yess..." He laughed, taking a deep breath. He had a girlfriend, a real girlfriend. And it was Reagan. The girl he'd liked since sophmore year. Isn't it great how things just work out for you sometimes...

Reagan smiled; this morning had taken her by surprise, only half an hour ago was she sitting in the freezing cold feeling pessimistic at the early hours of the morning. She’d been getting up abnormally early the past few days, she woke up and couldn’t fall back to sleep. Of course the homework was forgotten, and she often just walked around campus, not wanting to wake up Holly or Delilah; her roommates. He felt so strange that her and Liam were finally going out, strange in a good way of course. She smiled to herself as she looked out to the sun rise, it was extremely pretty, and hadn’t a sight like that before, not that she remembered. “I have a question” She then asked, after a minutes silence admiring the view’s, she laughed, “What were you doing down here, at like well six in the morning?” She finished, although she could have asked herself that question as well.
ooc: mines two outta three (:
