Personality:
Nevada is different then her stepsister completely. Some people think they are twins they just look alike its odd because even though they arent they still rebel against that and does anything she wants like goes to parties, dances and boys houses anytime and lets her parents know where she is but lies saying a friend is with her when there isnt. Nevada is a bitch and has ignored a lot of her old friends.

Other times she could be a nice girl in retaliation of how she feels about everything going on with her though she doesnt like telling anybody. She tells her sister amanda anything and everything no secrets between the girls since the day they started highschool. The girl is a super secretive person unless amanda gets her alone she spills anything she is thinking of or wanting to tell anybody possibly about it. Shes nice at times unless something she doesnt like happens she will say or do something about it.

As for now her mood swings kind of catch her sister of guard such as they would be doing something they both wanted to and liked and then amanda might think of something or say something and they'd get pissed off at each other though amanda wouldnt really understand what the hell was going on with Nevada. Nevada is very different really from her sister, she will say something when it comes to mind and she definitely isnt afraid to speak her mind and say exactly what she thinks needs to be said and people need to hear. Still her mood swings are one side effect she got from having her disorder, incidently now her parents and sister make sure she eats breakfast, lunch and supper so she would gain weight.

Background:
Nevada Lavigne Tompson was born as Nevada elaine Carter into a world of hate, despise, of Manhattan, New York and the unwanted much like herself. Nevada's life began really bad, the biological parents Markson and Robyn didnt want a baby interrupting their highschool lives but figuring she was a money ticket from welfare they quickly signed up for it pretending they loved the child and were keeping her. She grew up in a small one bedroom apartment with the young couple since being kicked out when robyn was pregnant with Nevada. During the first 2 years of the baby's life, she witnessed many fights most of them Markson nearly killing Robyn. Finally after Nevada's first birthday Markson and Robyn began to blame her for their year of arguing claiming "we were the greatest couple before her" and so on. So finding the closest adoption agency in Manhattan and placed Nevada elaine Carter a precious one year old girl up for adoption only preference her name stays Nevada at least and she goes to a good home. Well from the time she was one years old until Nevada hit two years old she was a child of unwanted parents stuck in an orphanage with other unwanted babies older then her most often.

The time came for Nevada to finally enter into a foster home in New Jersey because a couple thought she was just to "adorable" to leave at an agency. She hit the three year old mark in that same foster home and thought she was having the best time until her foster father started getting angry at the littlest mistakes Nevada did and would beat her whenever her foster mother wasnt home and lie when she showed up. Speaking up to her foster mother she was accused of lying and the foster mother would never believe her. After a few months of the three year old accusing her foster father of abusing her, the couple couldnt handle it anymore and decided to take her back to the orphanage in manhattan from NJ. She was just a young one but landed in another foster home in Upstate New York and steered clear of the foster father thinking he was the same though she was just hours from the orphanage celebrating her fourth birthday she was still a rambunctious, bratty, stuck up girl and and feared men but reached her fifth birthday in the foster home as well. Entering into kindergarten at the prestigous school she feared going home to her foster house. Living in the foster home and going to school in Upstate New York she was raised getting whatever "Nevada wanted" to keep her quiet because the foster father started beating her the same to the five year old little girl. Becoming a brat more each day the couple realized they werent ready for a five year old much less one as active as her. They kept her an extra 7 months to reach her sixth birthday but sent her back to the orphanage and keep her quiet with just the suitcase of clothes and few toys to shut her mouth.

Finally Nevada reached another foster at 6 years old in Malibu and loved it for the first time in all her foster homes, she had siblings in this foster home but was still, stuck up, bratty and thought she got whatever she wanted. She was wrong because the family that took her in which pretty rich but had 2 other children to take of and the old was 9 years old and the youngest was 3 years old at the time Nevada entered the home. After celebrating her 7th birthday with the family known as Alanis and Jacob Tompson they discussed adopting Nevada into the family. Speaking up Nevada revealed the information to her foster mother Alanis just after a few months of grade 2 because she was scared of Jacob doing the same which never happened because he had two of his own children to care for and he didnt hurt them Nevada realized and stopped fearing of hugging her foster father at night. After Nevada turned 8 years old the Tompson couple adopted her into the family agreeing to the contract of keeping her name Nevada and changing the middle and last name so she was now known as Nevada Lavigne Tompson. Being 8 she knew they werent her real parents but didnt know who her birth parents were and didnt want to because they never wanted her anyway.

As a 9 year old she was helpful with her younger adoptive brother jason who was just turning Five years old and entering into Kindergarten in the prestigous elementary school in south beach. Reaching her 10th birthday Nevada was excited because she had tons of friends to bring to her birthday party Alanis and Jacob planned and set up for the young girl. Though as she started the fourth grade children at school started wondering why her last name was Tompson but she didnt exactly look like them much. Nevada's friends started teasing her and became her worst enemies by the end of fifth grade and she had turned 11 years old and entered into the sixth grade while amanda was entering grade nine Malibu High School. Going through middle school Nevada hated it because people started claiming "shes different, shes adopted" and kept bugging her because she was adopted and different from any normal family some knew. Shes now a freshman in Watson Academy pulled into the scene clique which shes quite happy with her standing.
