It was a long, lazy sunday afternoon, Eddie walked down towards the park, the sun on his back and the wind in his hair.
He came towards a bench, the bench was standing in the sun, it was warm when he sat on it, looking out at the park. There was quiet alot of people here, all playing in the sun, some swimming in the cold water of the ponds.

Holly had been laying about her dorm, running after her new baby. She loved him so much and he was only a couple of days old and she knew nothing could be any cuter than that. She needed to do something, she was bored out of her mind but she knew she could watch a sleeping 'Coli all day. She got dressed in her short hot pink dress and pulled her hair into pigtails, she looked like a little girl but she didn't care cause she knew she was a mommy now and nothing could ever take that away from her. She gently woke up little Nicoli and dressed him up in his tiny blue jumper suit, she knew he couldn't be any more adorable. She placed him into his carry cot, she didn't want to use his pram that she had, yet. She didn't want everybody staring at her because she was so young with a baby and she liked the carry cot, it was easier to move around than a whole pram.
She knew she wanted to go to the park with him, she knew that he was too small for any of the swings yet, not for a couple of months at least but she would just take him out for some fresh air. She finally made it to the park after walking slowly and casually through the main gates. She wandered over to the play area where the sun was shining and it was warmer there than the rest of the park, she didn't want her little angel getting cold. As she walked up to the area where the benches were she noticed somebody sitting there already, Edward. She didn't know if she should say hi to him after that he claimed that he love dher and everything, she hoped he had gotten over his little obsession and there was only one way to find out, she had to talk to him. She walked up to him, swinging Coli's carry cot gently, as she sat next to him on the bench.
"Hey Edward" she chimed happily as she looked up at him with a friendly smile. |

Edward felt a shadow pass over him and he looked up, it was Holly...Holly and her baby.
He watched her sit down, not saying anything...what was he to do...he didn't love her anymore, but he couldn't help having some feelings for her.
"Hello Holly." he muttered and looked at the baby, "Hes sweet, congrats." he said smiling.

Holly wondered why Edward was here, he didn't seem the park type to her, maybe she was wrong. She was glad that she could talk to him though because she might be able to have a proper conversation with him rather than last time in Sierra where she was started shouting at him and almost wanting to hit him for what he was saying. She couldn't help but feel bad for shouting at him, though, it was never like Holly to get worked up over something so much that it caused her to snap.
She was glad that he never seemed to ignore her like she thought he would after how she acted last time. She smiled again as he said hello as she placed little Coli by her side on the ground.
"Thanks" she smiled shyly as he recognised little coli, wide awake with his bright blue eyes, just like his mommy's.
"He's just the sweetest little thing" she giggled a little |

Edward nodded, "Yes, just like you." he said, watching the baby, she was sweet. But Edward couldn't help thinking how young Holly was compared to other mothers, pregancy age seemed to be going lower and lower no a days.
He felt slightly awkard sitting with her and the baby, after what happened after what Ryuu had said.
"Ryuu is very protective about you." he muttered, glancing at her suddenly his eyes looking straight at her.

Holly almost glared at Edward as he claimed that he was sweet like her. She didn't know how he meant it, was he still trying to insinuate that he still liked her or was he just saying it in general as a compliment, she couldn't tell with him. It seemed all too weird him saying things like that to her now, after what happened between them, she wasn't sure what she could or couldn't say but she just smiled ackwardly at him when he said what she thought was nothing more than a compliment.
His next statement made her a bit confused though, she knew that her and Ryuu were the most inseperable best friends ever but she didn't think he was protective over her, that was Aaron's job and it annoyed the hell out of her, sometimes she wished that he wouldn't be like that because she knew she was old enough to fight her own battles no matter how big or small. She looked up at him a bit confused, she really didn't know what to say about that, how did he know if he was protective or not?
"What do you mean, he's protective?" she asked calmy with a slightly confused tone |

Edward faced her, and looked at her for a minute before answering. "He found out about me kissing you the other day and had a go at me, banging me against the locker, it just...from where I was standing, it looked abit like he was protective and wanting to stand up for you, I think you are old enough for that but you know what Ryuu can be like." Edward muttered, rolling his eyes.
"I would be protective, but not that protective as you should be able to look after yourself by now."

Holly sighed in an upset tone and looked down at her fiddling nervous hands as Edward told her why Ryuu was protective over she. Why was she nervous? she didn't have a clue, maybe her unconcious was trying to tell her something, she didn't know, she was confused about most things these days but being a bit ditzy is what everybody loved about her, she had an excuse for being blonde. She just couldn't believe that he would do something like that for her, what he was? he was trying to act like Aaron would and that annoyed her even more, she just couldn't believe him but she would ask him about it later, or confront him about it depending on what mood she was in when she got back. Ryuu should have known that if she ever found out that she wouldn't be a happy bunny about it.
"Sorry....." she muttered still looking down at her forever twisting fingers as she glanced at Coli from under her think dark brown eyelashes.
She didn't know what else to say, she was just shocked that Ryuu would do that to somebody, especially Edward, he was one of her best friends and Ryuu does that to him, she would make sure she definetley had a word with him when she got back if he liked it or not. Although, when he mentioned that she could look after herself now she knew he was right. She hated that most people treated her like a typical weak girl who needed everybody to fight her battles for her but Holly had spunk and wit beyond most girls, she knew she could look after herself, most of the time. Past Events had her thinking about if she really could fight for herself, she knew she couldn't exactly fight back after Jay had almost killed her but she would have tried if he hadn't stabbed her and she could never look in the mirror anymore because of the hideous scars that her left her, she felt unwanted sometimes and more so even more because PJ had gone back to Italy for a while, he claimed that he needed "to sort things out". She didn't know what but she let him go anyway but she wished she hadn't, she missed him too much and she didn't know where she belonged anymore.
She looked up and smiled at Edward, a calm girly smile.
"Yeah, most people are protective over me these days, but I can't blame them....not after what happened" |

"No, don't be sorry about it, idiot boy." Edward muttered, he didn't like Ryuu not one bit. He watched her, what was going through that mind of hers? Was she thinking about the past? Was she thinking about Ryuu?
How ever much Edward hated Ryuu he could see why the boy had stood up to Holly, the reason being that Holly was a lovely girl and that she looked on the outside someone who needed help on the time especially with the baby now but if someone knew Holly that long then she was a tuff cookie deep down.
"Well, you have the baby and some people think you need extra help with him." he nodded to the baby watching him.

Holly didn't know what to say for almost the first time in her life, she felt that anything she might say might make things worse than they already are. She guessed that Edward and Ryuu were not exactly on the best terms anymore, why did he have to act like her big brother? She had one of those already, the last thing she needed was another one when the one she had already annoyed her so much, most of the time. All she could do was remain speechless, she didn't know what to say anymore and talking with Edward was a bit more ackward now than it had been before he came out with his feelings for her, she thought that sometimes that it would have been better for him to have not said anything. She shot him a confused but annoyed look when he said that people might think she needs help because of her baby, she tried to stop herself from laughing sarcastically as she looked down at little Nicoli who was now wide awake with his bright blue eyes staring back at her. She thought it strange that he always cried when they were in her dorm but rarely when they were outside. Maybe he was already and outside type of boy because his mommy loved to be outside, maybe he hated being stuck inside all day and liked it when they were out in the open and he tried to tell her this by not crying, she thought it was odd but she knew she would figure her little angel out evetually and that thought made her giggle a little, trying to figure out a baby, that was a funny thought. She watched as as he moved his little arms about and curled his little tiny fingers in and out with a kick of one of his little legs, she just smiled lovingly down at him, she never thought she'd be so lucky, ever. "I don't think I need help with him. I'm doing perfectly fine by myself and of course his Daddy is always here for me...." she said softly with a sligh giggle. She thought it was strange to think of PJ as 'Daddy' now but she knew she would get used to it someday. ".....but maybe not just now.......He just had to back to Italy at the perfect time" she muttered slowly as she played with her nervous fingers again. |

Edward watched her, she was in her thinking mood. He smiled and looked away suddenly down to the baby. He smiled at the little girl, she was soo sweet, jsut lying there half asleep.
He looked back up at her as she spoke, her words becoming intwaggled in his brain, they made no sense until she stopped.
"PJ is in Italy? Why the hell is he out there?" Edward asked suddenly, "And of course you are doing fine, I mean, you look well and the baby looks well."

Holly thought she had said to much now, she didn't want people to feel sorry for her now that PJ had went back to Italy for a while but he had come back a couple of days later and she was greatful that he had come back, she didn't know if he would ever come back, she was scared that he had chicken out on being a dad and went fled the country, exactly the opposite of what Ryuu mentioned not to, but he had his reasons for going and she forgave him, she was just glad to have him back in her life now.
"He claimed that he had to go 'sort things out'....." she said quietly as she looked up at him with a shy smile
"...but he's back now, so I guess that's good" she smiled a bit brighter
She thought it was sweet of him to say that they both looked well, after what she had been through she didn't feel fine most of the time, she couldn't look in the mirror anymore without cringing at the horrible scars on her shoulder, neck and back and she felt a bit embarrsed though that she woudl have to wear her engagement ring on a hand that was severly scarred too but there was nothing she could do about it now.
"I might look alright but I dont feel it a lot of the time" she admitted quietly "and I hope little Coli continues to look well all the time" she smiled, trying to lighten the situtation. |

Edward shrugged, his face not showing any emotion, his hand limp by his side as if he was a rag doll. Something strange had come over him, he didn't know what, he just was slightly scared of Holly, why tho? What was there to be scared off? Shrugging this thought away, he looked up staring hard at her, trying to work out what she was thinking inside, but it was no use.
He ran a hand through his hair, his thoughts mixing up in his head until he finally spoke, a faint whisper. "You look alright, and I suppose thats all that matters." was all he said, his dark eyes, his beautiful dark eyes staring at her, full of regret and slight sorrow.
