A first of many things. William Maddox sitting in the courtyard, not playing his guitar. Today was the day that he felt…creative. It was a song writing day. Okay, so he was working on music, but hey, it wasn’t the guitar, which was what he normally had. But of course, baby steps. There would be the day that he rarely did anything music related out in the courtyards.
Anyways, so here he sat, being bored out of his mind, his muse gone off to the Bahamas or somewhere else. Wearing skinny black jeans and a white V-neck long sleeved shirt, he sat on one of the benches, his pencil tapping annoyingly at the spine of the book before he slammed it shut, throwing it next to his feet on the ground beside his bag. Sighing, he ran a hand over his face. Today obviously wasn’t his day.
Crossing one leg over the other, he rested his head back against the back of the bench, closing his eyes slowly. He was pretty drained; not that he didn’t get enough sleep, but he probably got too much sleep. It happened to him at times. Too much sleep wasn’t exactly that great, but it wasn’t his fault; he just hadn’t had his daily coffee in a long time. That was the only reason he failed at keeping awake on days like this.
The sun was shining above him, and he closed his eyes tighter, trying to keep it out of his eyes. His eyes were just really agitated with the sun. Why couldn’t it go away and let him sleep…
OoC ;; I’m sorry that sucks! My muse is like shot…

Walking out of the big front doors of Watson and into the courtyard, she frowned slightly. She hadn't been able to draw in her room, so now she was trying to find a spot in the courtyard where she might be able to draw. She was holding her sketch book in her notebook, and a pencil in the other.
She crossed the courtyard, all the way to a the tree she always sat under. Someone was already on the bench, so she just sat down on the ground, not wanting to get in his way. He looked kind of aggravated. And that was something that was no fun. She opened her sketch pad to a black page, and tapped the eraser on the edge of her pencil on her sketch pad, still not able to think of anything.
She was wearing bright purple skinny jeans, a black v neck shirt, and black flats. She hadn't really paid much attention to her outfit today. She had a project due for art, and she hadn't even started it. That wasn't good at all. Her teacher would kill her if she turned in another assignment late. She ran a hand through her hair, frowning.
OOC:// It's okay. Mine sucks too. DX

He could hear sounds that were going around the courtyard, but none really stuck out to him. None that he knew, really. It there was the voice of someone he knew, then he would be happy. But of course, no such sound make. He thought he heard someone walking, but he couldn’t be too sure.
Raising his head, he looked down, seeing a girl sitting under the tree that was pretty much right next to the bench. He wondered why she would sit there; it wasn’t like he was taking up room on the bench. Looking at her, he tried to recall if he knew the girl. But his mind seemed to draw a blank; he didn’t remember her at all. He ran a hand over his hair as he glanced down at her.
He watched her open a…sketchbook. Apparently he wasn’t the only one having difficulties with creative things today. He cleared his throat; he’d have to be direct. “Um…hey. Do I know you?”

Hayley looked up, slightly surprised. She had been lost in her own world. She usually never payed attention while she was drawing. She shook her head. "Nope. I don't think I've even seen you before."
She squinted her eyes slightly so she could get a better look at him. She was pretty sure she hadn't seen him around before. But she could have been wrong. She closed her sketch book, giving up on it for now. She'd have to remember to do it later.
She set her sketchpad on the ground next to her, her pencil sitting on top of it carefully. She looked back up at him, squinting slightly. "I'm Hayley. "

He couldn’t help but chuckled as he caught that startled look on her face; obviously she was out of her mind in La La Land or something. HE listened to her, and he nodded. “Yeah…that’s what I thought.” He scrutinized her appearance, but he didn’t seem to recalled seeing her at all anywhere.
He watched her close up her sketchbook as she squinted at him. Either the sun was brighter than he thought, or the girl was just blind. Listening to her introduce herself, he nodded in his head. Stretching his hand out to her to shake, he said, “Will.” Simple, short, and to the point.
He looked at her as she saw down on the ground, and he looked at the bench next to him. “You can sit on the bench if you want to, you know. I don’t bite.” He gave her a smirk as he said it, wondering if she would

She nodded at him. "Not many people know me." She chuckled slightly. That part was true. She really only hung out with Stori, and Parker. And she didn't hang out with them very often. She usually just stuck to herself.
Seeing him extend her hand, she took his hand in hers shaking it. "It's nice to meet you Will." She pulled her hand back, as soon as she finished talking. She smiled up at him, laughing softly.
She raised one eyebrow at him. "Oh, well that's a shame. I like bitters." She winked at him as she stood up. She bent over, picking up her sketchpad, and wiped off the seat of her pants. She walked to the bench, and sat down next to him. She set her sketchpad on the ground by her feet, and turned back to Will. "So, what are you doing out here all by yourself?"

He nodded. “Then make yourself noticed. Go around singing the Barney song, and people’ll definitely know you.” He smirked at her. Sometimes he could be a bit of a goof ball.
He shook her hand as she took it. “Nice to meet you too, Hayley.” That sounded way too formal. He’d need a nickname for her later on. Hearing her laugh, he raised an eyebrow. “Something amusing you?”
He looked at her as she said she liked biters, and he gave her a smirk. “Well, if you get lucky, you might get one.” Okay, he could be a bit of a flirt. Watching her sit down beside him, he listened to her. “oh. I was planning on dominating this school by kidnapping the principal and forcing him to watch Britney Spears music videos until he let me take over. You know, the usual.” He shrugged as though it were no big deal, even though he had a smirk playing on his lips.

She rolled her eyes at him. "Oh yeah cause that would get me loads of good attention. People would just love me then." She smiled at him.
When she heard him ask if something was amusing, she smiled at him and said "Your face." She flashed a quick smile at him before turning towards the courtyard, and looked around. Not many people were outside today, but she didn't know why. The weather was quite nice out today.
She raised one eyebrow at him and said "If you get lucky, you'll get to bite me." She knew she was a flirt, and it didn't really bother her. Flirting was fun. (: She nodded at him. "That's a wonderful plan. But I suggest to use someone besides her. He might get a bit horny, and who knows what he would do. I'm guessing he doesn't get much."

He laughed. “Course they would. They’d know you aren’t afraid to look awkward.” He grinned at her as she said it.
Hearing her retort, he rolled his eyes at her. “Well, I am glad my face can make you laugh.” He watched her look around the courtyard, and he let his own eyes follow. It seemed the courtyard wasn’t that popular today; not many people were there. Even with the better-than-good weather.
Hearing her response, he smirked at her. “How lucky am I, exactly, eh?” watching her nod at him, he listened to her, and he nodded. “Hm…got any ideas? Anyone who draws more attention than attraction than Britney Spears?” He couldn’t help but laugh. “Obviously. If he prefers Spears over anyone else in the world.”

She laughed and said "Oh, but then they'd be like 'Oh look it's that weird girl Hayley. Let's walk away really fast before she starts singing the Barney song again.'" She smiled at him, laughing softly.
She crinkled her nose at him, smiling. "Well, your face is really funny looking." She smirking at him, but it quickly turned into a laugh. She really hoped he knew she was joking. XD
She raised one eyebrow at him, saying "Right now, your chances of being lucky are pretty high." She winked at him, holding back laughter. She thought for a moment at his next question. "Hmm.. Maybe.." She put her pointer finger on her mouth like she was thinking hard. "You could always use me!" She made an excited face, and held back laughter.

He listened to her before he let out a laugh. “Well, I doubt they would do that. They might ridicule you and throw stones and hiss at you, or mock you by singing the song in an obnoxious voice, but they won’t walk away really fast.” He smirked at her; sometimes he could be cruel.
He pretended to be insulted. Clutching his heart, he said, “And I thought I was one gorgeous man.” But he couldn’t hold it up; letting out a laugh, he grinned at her.
He raised an eyebrow at her. Was she really serious? Well, he wouldn’t wait to find how. “How high are they?” He watched her as she thought for a moment or two. Hearing her talk, he burst out laughing. “Oh yes. That’ll work perfectly.. He could just picture that; okay, he couldn’t. But it was a hilarious thought, really.

She rolled her eyes at him. "Oh yeah. 'Cause that's way better." She paused, giving him a look. "I mean, cause it's wonderful when people mock you and stuff."
She shrugged. "I guess you're alright looking. Not the cutest, but decent enough." she smiled at him, holding back the laughter.
She shrugged. "Maybe high enough, maybe not." She smirked at him, laughing slightly. She raised one eyebrow at me. "Yeah. It definatly will work perfectly." She smiled at him again, still holding back laughter.
OOC:// Very ick. Sorry : /

He laughed as she rolled her eyes. “Course it is. What did you expect them to do? Just ignore you without doing anything?” He grinned as she gave him a look. “Hey, I get it sometimes, and I got over it. You will to.”
He raised an eyebrow at her, leaning in a little closer, a look on his face. “Now, now. Is that anyway to talk to someone who is older and can squash you?” He gave her a smirk.
He gave her a playful smirk. “Hm…then I guess that’s a good high.” Hearing her laugh slightly, he chuckled. Hearing her say it would work perfectly, he tried to hold back laughter. “And how would you help me in dominating the school, eh?”
OoC ;; Very ick. =\ I’m sorry!

"Yeah. They could do that." He grinned at him, hearing what he said next. "Oh really? Do people call you not funny a lot?" Of course, she was kidding, but it was still fun to mess with him.
"And what makes you think just because your older, you can squash me?" She raised one eyebrow at him, smirking at him slightly.
She shrugged at him. "Maybe, maybe not." She grinned at him when he asked how she could help. She thought for a moment, her finger to her lips like she was thinking. "I really have no idea. But I could help you."

He rolled his eyes at her. “Course they could do that.” Hearing what she said, he fake-laughed. “Ha ha ha. As a matter of fact, I get the opposite of that.” He gave her a smirk. “Jealous?” Okay, so he was having fun messing with her. Who wouldn’t?
He pretended to think about it. “Because I am older, I am bigger, and I have more muscle than you. And I’m better looking, so I have that over you.” He smirked right back at her as he said it, waiting for her to say something.
He rolled his eyes. “Course it is.” He watched her strike the ‘thinking’ pose that a lot of people did. Hearing her say she didn’t know, he rolled his eyes. “Having no idea doesn’t really help me, you know.” But he shrugged. “Unless you can torture him in a more amusing way than forcing him to watch Britney Spears.”
