Delaney is not the quiet type, she loves to meet new people and is definately the loudest of any group. She loves her friends and tends to trust people very easily. She will fall in love easily, also. She is great one on one and in big groups. She loves to go out in the sun or stay in and read a book. She lives for theatre and it is the best thing in her life. She actually likes school and finds it satisfing to finish a report or get a good grade, and so naturally she has very good grades.
But on the other hand, she tends to get jealous very easily and sometimes about almost nothing. She is obsessed with things being clean. She will feel slighted very easily. Sometimes the only way she can handle her feelings is to write it down, so she keeps a very descriptive blog of her life. She may feel shy around new people and she will most definately never be the one to make the first move or go up and talk to a guy, she would rather they come to her. She sometimes feels very awkward. She likes to be alone sometimes and at times people just don't understand her, but she's okay with that.
Background:
Delaney was actually born in a tiny town in Canada and was raised there in a quaint little cottage. She grew up knowing everyone and everyone knowing her and she became very comfortable in that setting. She had the most solid group of little friends who always said that if they "never meet prince charming, I'll marry you". Her parents had her little brother when she was five years old and that's when they moved to California, because the schools were better there. Canada to California proved to be a huge adjustment as she started school with no friends.
The only thing in her town that she seemed to like was the dance studio; so in third grade, her mother signed her up for ballet lessons and she loved it. She went to school and eventually made one very good friend by about fifth grade. They did everything together. She loved to spend time on the beach, but not nessicarily in the water. Her parents talked a lot about the enviroment and she became very inerested. She began to only eat organic food, and recycle and do many other things to help the enviroment. In seventh grade she auditioned for her first school production, Alice In Wonderland. Although she only landed the role of the White Queen, she was hooked and knew immeaditly and knew this is what she wanted to do forever and ever.
She was in every school production since then, and by high school she had amounted nine shows experience. She had the six years of ballet experience, and had been in school chorus since third grade, as well. When her parents asked her about a boarding school in Florida she was skeptical. Moving across the country was enough, but when you add in that she didn't know anyone there, she was convinved that she didn't want to do it. Her parents brought the brochure home and she looked at it and the academics looked so great and the theatre program looked so superb that her parents shipped her off to Florida for her freshman year, and she was okay with it.
