Personality:Lyric is a rather mysterious person. Mostly he keeps to himself, hiding his feeling from the rest of the world. He's a fighter, whether it be for what he believes in, or simply for revenge and he's not afraid to put himself in danger. Temper. Yes, Lyric owns a rather vicious one. He can blow up and be absolutely terrifying. Anger is no stranger to him.
Stalking around in a horrible mood is mostly common to him. He's often easy to bother and can be a bit of a headache to bother with. However, he does have a sweet and sensitive side to him. The problem is plowing through the tough exterior. He's caring and honestly just wants some help in changing his ways.
He has one fear that prevents him from truly letting someone in. He's afraid to lose them. Letting someone close means giving them the potential to strike you down when your vulnerable. Thats what bothers him most. Its the reson that hardly anyone will stick by his side through the tough times.
Deep down, he's simply a trouble child, desperate and reaching out for a new chance at life.
Background:(Birth)
A single cry blared into the world. A world that he new not the dangers of, or the cruelty he would face through life. The cruelty in which he was born into. Lyric had been unwanted. A simple product of rape, fate which could not be controlled.
His mother, luckily for him, was strongly against abortion. Despite the hurt and pain it had caused her to carry this child, this memory of the pain she endured, she would keep him, go through with it. In truth, he would probably mean nothing to her. Lyric would only be a haunting memory of that night she had spent crying over the fact that he was growing within her. A simple product, a bastard child.
(Child)
Years passed from that day and soon Lyric was having his sixth birthday. Everything seemed well, he was growing so big, but he was problematic. He spent hours arguing with his parents, disobeying them, and for what? a little self pride? perhaps. Lyric had learned that he was pushed aside by his mother, as well as his step-father. They had shown plenty of endearment to others, but he seemed to get the blunt of the cold shoulder.
His birthday had even been ignored. No parties, no friends. Lyric had grown used to such activities. He had grown particular to spending his days and nights with his sister, Januarie. Despite the lack of love that had been shown by his parents, Lyric knew that Januarie would give him the appraisal He needed.
(Teen)
Every waking moment seemed to be a disaster, whether is was constant argueing or him storming out of the house over something little. His home always seemed to a hectic one, with Januarie stuck in the middle. She was trying to take up for him, but she knew the overwhelming hatred her mother had for him, even if he was her own flesh and blood, and yet Lyric was forced to accompany them to some type of meeting. The car ride there was just as rough as the days spent at home, only he was required to stay in one place and listen to it.
" You look just like him... I can't take it!" Her words stung as she continued on, speaking about how she couldn't wait until he was eighteen and gone... only four more years. " Why can't you just get rid of me now?" Lyric had tried to get away, but each time his father would call the cops on him, telling him it was for his safety and best interest to stick around.
Feeling defeated, Lyric resorted to staring out the window. He would have never guess that his whole way of life would end that day. The thought hadn't crossed him mind that perhaps that semi- truck to the right of them would swerve into their lane, totaling their car and taking two lives, but it happened, and there was nothing he could do. The truck veered over, causing their car to be shoved against the median. Both his mother's, and his dearest sister's lives were taken away that day. His step father abandoned him and he was left alone.
After that day, he had made a note to find his real father and had taken to the streets, barely avoiding the DEFAX agency. He had traveled by hitch hiking, Traveling from San Fransisco to Los Angeles, California. There, He found Jamie, the man who had been desperate enough to cause such harm to his mother. His father, however was a prominent drug dealer and user. Lyric had been taken under his wing as 'the son he never had' He was taught the rules of the street, taught the ways of the law. Basically he was to do his father's dirty jobs.
Within no time, Lyric was hooked on various type of drugs. Shrooms, Heroine, Coke and weed made up the jest of it .
(Rehabilitation)
He had been on one of his routine dealings. Making his way just a few blocks down in the still of the night. If Lyric had expected any trouble, he probably would have stayed behind, made some other use of his time. Then again, how was he supposed to know that he was going to be caught. Arriving at the old abandoned shack, Lyric quickly made a note that everything was still, oh well. Upon approaching the door, someone opened it, slightly startling the boy of sixteen " Where's Trix?" Lyric asked cautiously.
The male before him seemed fairly older than himself, and towered an easy foot over him. " He's busy with some people in the back.. You here with the stuff?" Lyric nodded and looked around "you got the cash?" His tone was casual, as if it were just a small get together with friends. The male handed him a wad of money and Lyric took it, exchanging it for the small bag in his pocket "FREEZE" Lyric did just that before turning around, only to see a gun pointed to his face and the man holding up a badge.Falling to his knees, Lyric knew he had been caught, he was done for.
He was able to call his aunt from the jail and after a few months he was released. The only bad thing was, she decided to send him to a school for troubled children.
