Personality:[/b Stephen had a bleak background, so he doesn’t really know how to act around crowds, he stays to himself, not talking, shrugging and staring hard at the person who came up to him. People stay away from him, not many know about his background, he feels alone in the world of school life, maybe it is because his brother is not there, maybe it is because he had lived on a deserted island all his life and doesn’t know how to interact with people his own age.
The way he lets his feelings out is though smoking and drugs, it sounds bad, but that was what he did back home. Going up onto the moor land and sitting and basically becoming silly like. He thought it would be a good idea to come here, but know he thinks about it more, he thinks…it was wrong…
Background: ] Stephen is the twin of his 20 minutes younger brother Harry , the two were brought up in Devon, England. They both had a ruff life, their mother being killed in the birth of their younger sister Susie, so there father was distort but more on that later.
Stephen and his twin grew up a life of knowing all the swear words, the sex terms, everything to do with dodgy things that children should not know, they lived out on an island off the coast of Devon, so technically they grew up on L’head, it was a bleak island, no one else lived there except an old lady who owned the island, but lived on the other side of it.
The two brothers did not go to school, were taught by their father who was going slightly mad two years before the mother died. The twins were both 14, so did not know about the effects that this madness would have on their lives until two years later when their mother had a child, another child. This was their sister, Susie. As I said before, the mother died in child birth as there were no doctors around to help, the father completely lost it, and Stephen had to look after the house and mainly the responsibilities of the baby sister and Harry, who was starting to leave the islands on daily outings to the main land.
Stephen’s father, when Stephen and Harry had just turned 18, said that they would be selling the house and moving back to the main land, Harry jumped at the chance to get out of this horrible place and moved straight away, living Stephen, Susie and the dad to pack up and move all the luggage.
When they reached the mainland, Stephen never saw Harry again; the younger twin had gone to Manchester, setting his own life up there, away from his family, starting a fresh. Susie and the father moved to London, Susie going to a school there, she had to stay behind a couple of years as she has missed out on so much, and Stephen travelled to America to start a fresh over here. He had saved up quite a lot of money to be able to move to America and go to school here, moving to Watson would be the mile stone turned for good.
