Ryuu’s comfortable in most clothes. He doesn’t go out of his way to get dressed up, but most of the time he’ll wear a green t-shirt and a pair of jeans. He doesn’t fuss much about labels and will be just as happy wearing a jacket from Wal-Mart as one from Hollister. He always wears trainers, and his favourite pair is white with black stripes (but they’re so dirty you can’t really tell what colour they are)
Personality:
Ryuu is a bit of a man whore. He doesn’t tend to care who he wakes up with, and he enjoys going out and drinking till late into the night. He’s a happy drunk, and has a terrible, childish sense of humour in this state. He’s prone to getting completely smashed, and then waking up on the pavement the next morning. He used to smoke crack a lot as a young teen, and he is over all pretty negative about drugs these days. He smokes a lot, and even more when he's mad. He can smoke about 8 or 9 in a day.
Over all, Ryuu’s a fairly decent guy. He is concerned about his companions, and he will do what he can to help, but he rarely does a favour without something in return. He can be a bit full on, especially in romantic relationships. His outlook on life is a bright one, and not much can get him down. He hates being a bystander, and always gets involved in everything weather or not it’s the right thing to do, or if he is wanted. This generally makes matters worse, and makes people mad at him, which in turn makes him mad.
Background:
Ryuu is a twin (his twin is Irja), born in Dijon to a wealthy family. His parents were from California, but they moved to France with his mother’s parents. When Ryuu was 3, his brother Kailie was born, but his mother died due to complications in birth. Ryuu’s father, Stephen, became depressed after the death of his wife, and would be angry towards his children - especially Kailie. The family owned a horse breeding business which they’d bought off of the mother’s second cousin, and it was very prosperous.
He hated Kailie. He used to do some pretty awful things to him. Irja just went really quiet for ages. Ryuu hated it. When he was in middle school, and he was about 12 years old, he had a massive argument with his father, he can’t remember what it was about now, but then he started smoking crack. It really was disgusting, but everyone thought he was really cool, and he instantly became one of the most popular guys in the school. Unfortunately, Irja didn’t approve. They would argue bitterly about it, and Ryuu just became even more distanced from his family. Through his crack smoking habit, he got into a gang of older boys who would carry knives and smash windows, slash tiers and nick cigarettes and booze. Ryuu was very lucky he didn’t end up in Juvenile, but the rest of his family probably thought they’d all be better off if he did. When Ryuu was about 15, he accidentally made his 16 year old girlfriend pregnant. People always blamed him, but no one cared to listen to his story. Ryuu didn’t want to, because they had no protection, but the girlfriend assured him nothing would happen and she eventually persuaded him. Ryuu’s now very reluctant to go anywhere near girls.
When Ryuu and Irja left school, Ryuu moved back to California after a huge argument with his father. This resulted in them being kicked out of the house, and Kailie and Ryuu had a physical fight.
Whilst in California he met Jay Farr. They were good friends for a while, but Ryuu tried to turn it into romance and ended up with two black eyes. Ryuu did very badly in collage, and so Stephen sent him to Watson in the hopes that he would be better educated at a more prestigious school. Ryuu thinks often of going back to Dijon to make amends, but doubts he’d be welcome. Leaving it to when his brother, Kailie, and his girlfriend, Amber, have their baby probably wouldn’t be the best timing, but that’s what Ryuu’s going to do.
