Personality:
Maxxie is a gay teenager who also has status as 'one of the lads', being gay is only incidental to his character. He is open about his sexuality, and basically doesn't care what people think of him being gay. Homophobia is gay.

Maxxie is overall a happy chap. He is friendly to everyone, unless they make it totally clear they will punch his lights out if he even attempts a 'hello'. The opposite to shy.
He loves to help others, and thinks he is a very good listener; although maybe not quite so good on the advice.
He is something of a comedian, but his idea of funny is usual sarcasm.
Background:
When I was a young boy;;
Maxxie was christened Maxwell Richard Oliver, and was brought up by his parents who are very religious.
He went to an all boys primary school, {you know the ones with cute little church choirs and everything}, so that may be one of the reasons he is gay. He never spent time with girls, and doesn't really see the point. You can live without them, right?
His parents, Howard and Alice neglected Maxxie. He went to a boarding school {all boys} and hardly came home to visit.
His deprivation of normal things, of course, made him rebellious, and Maxxie started dancing lessons without his parents consent.
Teenages scare the living sh** outta me;;
He'd been dancing for years, and when his parents found out, they practically disowned him. They did not like the idea of their precious son dancing, and being openly gay.
Maxxie didn't care, he wasn't going to change for his parents. Dancing was a part of his life, and he couldn't help it that he liked boys over girls. He got involved with drugs and alcohol at a very young age, and this turned his parents even more against him. But that was the point of his actions.
Maxxie was sent to boarding school {nothing he wasn't used too} when his parents moved over to America. They live in Texas, and he goes to school in Miami.
He knows his parents can't accept him for who he is, but thats fine, Maxxie will continue being Maxxie all the way through education @ Watson academy.
