Maxxie grabbed his brown shoulder bag, and draped it over his chest. He had made plans to meet up with Holly; one of his really good friends. They hadn't seen each other in ages, and he had the random urge to go bowling.
There was always a few hot guys done there.
Checking he had his keys and phone he headed off into town, fixing his hair quickly before leaving his untidy dormitory. On his way he text Holly that he was on his way to 'The Kursaal' just incase she was there already.
Maxxie arrived, early as always and headed over to the small section of the building dedicated to vending machines.
He found a pound loose in his jean pocket, and bought himself a diet coke, whilst waiting for Holly.

Holly knew that she had to meet up with Maxxie soon. She was running around her room in a hurry as usual after coming back from PJ's. She had her brush running through her hair while trying to put on her red ballet pump shoes, luckily she had done her makeup before, she would never even go out her dorm without it on, she hated what she looked like without makeup, although some rare people who caught her out without her makeup on told her she looked nicer without it, she dismissed those comments right away. She finally looked at the clock and she wasn't as late as she thought she was going to be. She shrugged on her red polka dot zipper that went with her black jeans and pink tshirt.
She walked from her dorm quickly and to the bowling alley where they were going to meet up, she was never good at bowling but it was always funny to watch the ball roll down the gutter. She walked into the place and saw Maxxie standing by the vending machines looking around into space. She loved surprises so why not share them with other people? She ran up to him with a cheeky grin on her lips and just about jumped on him in a best pals forever hug.

"Holly!" Maxxie grinned, as he noticed her, at around about the same time she had noticed him. He returned her hug, and pulled away with a huge smile. Although him and Holly were the same age, she felt like his little sister. Maybe that was because he was somewhat taller than her.
"How's life treating Miss Kennedy?" He laughed, finishing his can of coke and shoving into the nearest red bin. "Seems like forever since we last spoke face to face" He grinned, and it had.
"You want a drink?" He asked, as they were near the vending machines, and he had enough change in his hands to buy another drink.

Holly smiled at the greeting she got from him. She wished that he was her big brother sometimes and not Aaron, he was a jerk but Maxxie was always fun to be around and he could always make the saddest person feel happy.
"No thanks, I'm good" she smiled
" Life's treating me great about now... she giggled
"...In lots of ways"
"Nothing disastrous so far"
"what 'bout you?!..." she asked excitedly

"Oki Dokey" He replied, in a Ned Flanders kind of way, placing the coins back into his loose jean pocket.
"Glad to hear it, wouldn't want to hear that my little Holly had broken a nail or anything" He grinned stupidly.
"Gotten yourself a decent man yet, not including that Jay idiot" He asked, he and Jay didn't get along. Well Jay didn't like Maxxie, but he wasn't bothered. Its not like he was missing out, thats what he thought anyway.
"Me?" He said whilst running a hand through his blonde fringe, "Same old, same old" He chuckled, he seriously laughed to much.
"Feels like forever" He replied to her last comment, "I guess senior years catching up on us at last" He finished, sounding relieved.
"Graduation soon!" He cheered, his hands forming the 'Rock On' symbol.

Holly smiled a giggly smile as he mentioned about a new guy, she always did when she thought about PJ. It was like they were made for each other.
"well..I don't really understand your type of decent" She laughed
"..but yeah totally, you know PJ, right?"
"I've actually just came back from his this morning" she said with a cheeky grin
What 'bout you?" she asked as she nudged him playfully on the arm

Maxxie hauled himself on top of the bin, he was tired of standing around. Lazy as he was. He frowned slightly at Holly's comment, "What's that supposed to mean?" He laughed, what was his type of decent. "I like decent guys" He said defensively."PJ..." He repeated, trying to put a face to the name, "Emo guy?" He joked, "You sound like you really like him" He smiled, he loved it when people got together, it was so cute. He cared more about others relationships, than his own.
He rolled his eyes and pretended to shake his head, "Umm" was his comment, putting on a childish tone, when she mentioned her activities from that morning.
"HA" He said quite loudly, "I'm hardly ever in a relationship, but you could say I've got my eye on a few guys" He winked. Which was true, ish. She'd never get who they were out of him though.

Holly wanted to laugh at his idea of PJ.
"Emo guy? she laughed
"There's a bit more to him than that"
She didn't like that people underestimated people just by their looks, she always looked to the personality side and that's what she loved about PJ, apart from the fact that she thought he was gorgeous too, he was sweet and romantic..she couldn't ask for anybody better for her.
"And if you like decent guys then, share!" she laughed
" I want to know!
She always liked to torment people but they knew she loved them really and that she was only playing around. |

He shrugged, "Well, going by looks only" Max smiled, "Of course he must have a personality, I wasn't expecting him to be a human vegetable Holz" He chuckled, searching for something in his pocket. Darn. He'd left his cigarettes in his dormitory.
Oh well, they wouldn't let you smoke in here anyway, and he needed to cut down. So much for new years resolution.
He shook his head frantically, "Not telling" He said stubbornly, "Besides, you probably know, you know the guys I go for" He laughed. [/font]

Maxxie rolled his eyes at Holly, but he couldn't help laughing. He'd missed spending time with his friend.
Raising her eyebrows at her stubbron expression and her folded arms he grinned.
"As in I'm not tellinh..." He repeated, with a shrug. It's not like it was anything major.
"Like I didn't know about you and PJ" Maxxie replied to her, the two were like stuck to each other like glue, well sometimes, it was cute.
"Besides, it's only a school boy crush" He said finally, laughing at his own use of words.

Holly sighed in defeated and dropped her arms to her side as Maxxie told her that he wouldm't tell her about who he liked.
"Fine then Mr...just don't tell me" she pouted with her puppy dog eyes.
"Like I didn't know about you and PJ"
" well go on then, how'd you find out then?" she asked with a slight laugh. It was never Holly to be potentially mad at somebody for something silly like they were discussing about.
"and what do you mean just a school boy crush?!"
"You need to spill...NOW!" She laughed
"you never know..I might just know them" she smirked a little. Although if he did tell her, being Holly, she would probably run to the person and tell them like a primary school kid would. |

Maxxie flashed a smile at her, his charming, perfect smile. He didn't act as gay as you'd expect, and he didn't look gay at all, thats why many girls fell for him. Well so people said.
"Well I'd heard you and him were an item from Reagan" He said in reply to her question about her and Phoenix.
He imitated her action beforehand and folded his own arms, "You probably do know them" He shrugged, he wasn't really bothered if anyone knew he liked Cy, or anyone else. He did have a crush on quite a few people, but one he was going to keep as secret as possible.
"But anyways, you should know I like Cy" He laughed, spilling a name, it was true he liked Cy, a lot, but still he wasn't worried about that leaking out.

Holly laughed a little when he told her he found out from Regz.
"Okay, okay. You win Mr" she said with a cute smile
" Trust Regz to spill the beans" she laughed
Her and Reagz could nevere really keep each others 'secrets' for long enough, They were practically sisters and that's what sisters did, tell everybody each others secrets with hope that the other didn't find out.
Holly knew the kind of guy Maxxie went for, she just loved to wind him up, he looked so cute when he was annoyed. If she could reach she would have toussled his hair but being 5ft 1 didn't get you very far.
"Cy?" she asked with her mouth hanging open a little
"I thought you'd go for somebody better than that" she laughed
"no offence to the guy" she laughed again
" and see I told you I could get it out of you" she giggled

"Well, news does travel fast around this school" Maxxie grinned, jumping down from the bin when an employee of the bowling alley walked past.
Least his distraction had worked. Holly didn't need to know all of his crushes. One was enough.
He laughed. "Ha. thanks" He said, nudging her gently with his elbow. "I know he's different to the usual" He grinned, that sounded funny. "He pretty much hates me as well" He said, but he was still smiling, because that was probably why Maxxie liked him so much.
"Holly the great" He repeated, "Of course" He laughed, with a roll of his eyes to annoy her. "So Holly the great, what shall we do today?" He asked.
