Reagan swallowed, and eventually sat down again opposite Liam, after lots of debating inside her head whether to leave or not.
You could tell from her expression she was considering forgiveness, and she wanted to 100%, but she just wondered if she could say it right now. "I want to give you a second chance" She said, sweeping her blonde hair out of her eyes finally. She sighed, "I don't know whether to or..." She continued, "What if it happens again?" She said, again much more to herself, it wasn't that she didn't trust him, she was also concerned about herself. "Would us even work" She asked quietly, she couldn't even believe she was considering this. Reagan was usually one to hold grudges for ages, it was just Liam made her feel, well different.

Reagan sat back down and he felt a glimmer of hope. Liam was nearly over the moon when Reagan said she would like to give him a second chance. It wa all that he wanted at that moment and, in this situation, at any moment. "It'll never happen again, I swear. You're the most important thing to me and I would never do anything to throw that away. I've messed up once and now I know what it's like to be without you and I never want to have to be without you again. Ever. And us would work if we decide that i'm good enough for you and you're good enough for me and that we make each other happy. If that's true, then we won't ever need anyone else besides us."

She looked over at him, her eyes seemed brighter, which meant she was feeling slightly happier. Maybe her and Liam could work this out after all. But what would everyone else say, would they judge her, or keep talking about Holly and Liam.
She smiled slightly, it was the smallest of smiles, but at least it was something. "Really?" She said, not entirely believing everything he had said, it sounded all too perfect, she never ended up in the perfect relationship. It just never happened, well Reagan was pessimistic most of the time.

"Yes, really. Reagan, I like you a lot. Actually, no-" Liam stopped abruptly. "I love you. And as long as we stay strong and both don't cheat, it'll work. I promise it will." He smiled as he slowly inched his hand across the table until it clasped hers within it. His gaze stayed in her bright green eyes, the eyes that made him weak and love sick. He smiled as she did the same and he knew that this would end well after all.

She hadn't realised that she'd shivered when he said that, no one had ever said that to her, and meant it. She still didn't understand why he did though, and sometimes she had to think twice before she noticed it was actually real.
She bit her lip nervously, as he took her hand, but she couldn't help but smile. She looked to her side for a second, thinking through all the things that could go wrong but then as she looked back into Liam's she forgot them all. She guessed she could give him a second chance, although she never usually would to anyone else. Pushing the bad thoughts out of her head, she opened her mouth, "It better" She said with a slight laugh, acting her normal self again. She just hoped she'd made the right decision, for once.
ooc; i just spent ages changing this reply. but then deleted it again because it made reagan seem too harsh. (: so ill keep it the same
