Maxxie was sitting alone on one of the empty swings in the childs play area. what an emo. His iPod was turned on full blast as per usual, he wasn't even aware of which song he was listening too.
Looking around, the park today was pretty empty, maybe it was the weather or something, because on Saturdays the park was often full of children with their parents, or couples on benches. Max didn't even know why he was in the park alone anyway, he should have invited someone to come with him, he was bored, and hadn't seen half his friends in like forever. Jude. He hadn't spoken to Jude for ages, he was one of Maxxies closest friends, they'd got along as soon as they met.
Fiddling for his phone in his pocket he tapped out a text message and sent it to him, wondering why the hell he had left it so long since they'd last met up. He hadn't even been that busy.
ooc: haha. doesnt make sense. and i cant actually be bothered to type out a text from maxxie on judeys phone. so ye.

well if you don't know where you're going
Jude had actually slept until noon that day, how unlike him. He'd been up late last night with the music class kids, drumming like crazy. Then he went to the studios to record some stuff. He ended up being there till 3am. They really should close that place at night. He had dragged himself home and collapsed into his bed and woken up and ben like "oh god, it's noon" so then he made pancakes and got a text. He read it. It was from Maxxie. Oh god. He hadn't seen Max in so long, he missed him. He decided to hang out with Max and texted him back. As he was getting dressed, he realized how bad this could end. Max confused him. Because Jude thought maybe he liked guys. Espically Max. And so being around Max just confused him. He couldn't be bothered with it normally but it sometimes bothered him. He threw on jeans, a polo and a jacket and grabbed his iPod. He turned it on shuffle and Any Road by George Harrison (Beatles guitarist) came on. He loved that song. He walked and before he knew it, he was at the park. He walked up and took the swing next to Max. He looked so cute. He didn't bother saying anything because Max wouldn't hear him over his music and he knew that.
any road will take you there

Maxxie turned to see Jude sitting there. That was quick, he thought. It had made him jump, ad he hadn't heard him appear. Grinning hugely, he took out his white headphones, and wrapped them around his black iPod. "Alright dude" He said with a smile, for some reason he felt a lot happier when he saw Jude. Maybe its because it had been so long, or maybe it was something else entirely. "Haven't seen you in ages" He stated, "What you been up too?" He asked, although he knew it probably involved music of some sort.
ooc: stabs shortness. -.-

Jude smiled shyly as Maxxie spotted him. He was shy around just about everyone but Max. Max was one of the only people who could make him talk too much. Maybe that wasn't so bad though. He too turned off his ipod and put it in his jeans pocket. He smiled wider at Max's smile, he couldn't help but envy Max. He was so friendly, so unlike Jude. Not that Jude wasn't friendly, he was just shy or busy or both. "Too long, man, too long." He nodded happily. "Just music projects. Yourself?"

He wrapped his arms around the chains which held the swing above the ground. He felt comfortable around Jude, it was like they'd been friends for a long time, which was true. Max copied Jude, nodding at the statement, with a laugh, "I should have guessed" He grinned, when Jude mentioned music. "Created a number one hit yet?" He asked, his smile still on his typical 'pretty boy' face. "I actually haven't being doing much" He said with a shrug. What had he been doing, "Dancing I spose, and drawing" He grinned at the two things he did best.

Jude watched Maxxie swinging, almost staring, and having to tear his gaze away when Max looked over. He smiled when the other boy laughed, he couldn't help it. It was involuntary, he always grinned when someone laughed. It was a happy type of sound, made him happy as well. Or something stupid like that. "Don't think I have... nothing I've done lately is too good." He replied to the 'number one hit' comment, his thick british accent on every word. "Not surprised, you don't do much else. Not saying offensivly, but it's what you're good at."

Maxxie didn't know why he had missed hanging around with Jude so much, oh wait. No he did know why, but he didn't want to say anything, he wasn't sure if Jude felt the same way, and he'd rather be friends than nothing at all. But, he was sure some of his other friends knew that he liked Jude, it was quite funny actually, Maxxie always seemed to like the guys which for him, he thought the most difficult to get. First off there was Cy, whom he had crushed on for a while, but that phase was over now, he had much more in common with Jude.
Shaking the thoughts away he looked up again at the boy across from him. "Oh come on" He laughed, "Your compositions are always flaming fantastic" which was his honest opinion, only if he'd only heard a few of Judes songs, they were really good. "No offense taken" He grinned, his blonde hair flopping in front of his face as he swing forward and dragged his shoes on the floor to bring the swing to a stop. "We'd work well together" He smiled, but his eyes widened slightly as he noticed how wrong that sounded. What he meant was that, Jude had the music and Maxxie had the moves, but the other way was perhaps a perfect fit as well. Laughing nervously he got up from the black rubber swing he was sitting on.
