Distant, blue eyes stared down at the black words that seemed jumbled against the off white of the paper. He had not even bothered to read up on the many excrutiating theories that were strategically placed within different sections of the book. It would take him hours to read it all. Quite frankly, he didn't have hours that he was willing to spend on such a daunting task. Leaning back in his chair, he lifted it onto only two legs. He was trying to occupy himself with anything, something to get him away from the books, the projects, and the papers. Anything. With a rather loud "ughhhhh" He was given an evil look at promptly told to shut-up, even though the librarian said it in a nicer, yet far more annoying type of way. The enlogated SHHHHHH. God he hated that. He was simply getting more frustrated and annoyed by the second. Turning his attention back to the book, he slammed it shut and pushed back his chair to stand up. HE wasn't planning on reading, but perhaps he could make it seem like he was doing something productive. Stepping away from the table, He shuffled down the isle, Placing the book in a random spot on the shelf and pretending to look for a different. It was the least he could do, he had nothing else planned for at least another hour. ((Wrong account.. I know...))[/ul]

With black painted eyes and a deathly glare, Jay walked quietly into the library. He had a whole lunch hour to kill, and he’d finished eating in about two seconds flat. The idea of actually eating the school’s tuna pasta casserole made his stomach churn. He had his headphones in, and was listening to his iPod on full volume. He took it out of his pocket to see what was playing as he wandered down the rows of books. When he was sure he was in a secluded spot where the librarian couldn’t see him, he stopped, dropping his backpack carefully and getting out a drinks bottle. It looked like any other bottle, opaque and with a sports drinking nozzle. Jay unscrewed the top and drank from it thirstily. The air around him became tainted with the musky smell of alcohol. Putting away the drink as quickly as he’d got it out, he headed towards the Science section. He needed a book for his course work.
Not looking where he was going, Jay barged into Lyric. “Fucking hell! Look where you’re going, jerk,” he hissed, shoving Lyric aside, and giving him an acid glare.

It wasn't the words that caused him to do what he did next, But more the shove he recieved into the book case. Without bother to turn and see who had done such a thing, Lyric Spun around quick, fist raised. He delievered the punch, Straight to the guys face. He wasn't in the mood to play around with anyone, and this guy had just got on his bad side.[/ul]

Jay, who had been in mid step, felt Lyric’s fist connect with his face even before his mind had registered what he was seeing. He let out a yell as he stumbled back, bringing up his hands to clutch his face with was beginning to throb painfully. He doubled up with pain, screwing his eyes shut in an attempt to block out the flaring pain in his face. “What was that for, you bastard,” he spat, his voice muffled and made somewhat less menacing by his hands. Straightening up, he brought a hand away from his face tentatively. There was no blood. Good, because if there had been, Lyric wouldn’t have had much of his own left by the time Jay was done with him. Grunting with the effort, he slung a punch at Lyric’s stomach, kicking out with his leg to trip him up at the same time. Jay had once been in a kick boxing club, but got kicked out for being too violent.

Lyric replied with a menacing smile as he watched the kid press his hands to his face, squenching his eyes shut to eliminate the pain. Lyric was plaeased, He had found someone to release most of his annoyance on. Lyric had seen the fist coming his way, But as he went to take a step back, the kid's foot jutted out behind his own and he ended up taking the punch anyways. He doubled over, Both arms on his andomen as he tried to catch his breath. As he finally did, Lyric laughed. The kid was laughing at the whole situation. Lyric finally straightened back up before sending his own fist hurtling at Jay's abdomen. [/ul]

Jay smirked in satisfaction as Lyric stumbled and got a blow to his stomach, just as he’d hoped. Standing looking pleased with himself, he left his own abdomen open for attack. Lyric laughing was the first sign that this wasn’t going to be an easy fight. He got attacked, a mirroring punch to the stomach. He winced, doubling over again and clutching it with an arm. “Dude, you punch like a girl,” he smirked, trying to keep his cool. If only he’d left the beer he had in a glass bottle. He would have loved to smash it over Lyric’s head right now. Straightening up again, he cracked his knuckles, the sinewy muscles on his arms flexing and making his tattoos convulse grotesquely. He launched a punch for Lyric’s face, with all the force he could muster. Just then, the librarian came down to see what the ruckus was about, and let out a cry of horror. “Boys! Stop that this instant!” she shrieked, but Jay paid no attention to her and punched at Lyric again.

If it hadn't of been for that Damn librarian, Lyric might have been able to Dodge the punch a bit quicker, but as her shrill voice wretch his anger, Jay was already throwing the punch. Lyric had a bit of time to dodge the first hit, but it caught the side of his Jaw bone and he stumbled, managaing to avoid the second punch being thrown at him. Just then, two male teacher appeared behind the librarian. Before Lyric could jump up and land another punch, One of the teachers had grabbed him by his arms, pulling them behind his back and pulling him out of punching distance. damnit. The other teacher moved behind Jay, Draping his arm over the boy's chest in an attempt to hold him back.[/ul]

The librarian had obviously called for back up, because a couple of male teachers had appeared and proceeded to restrain Lyric and himself. He struggled in the surprisingly strong grip of Mr Baines, who taught Physics, he narrowed his eyes venomously. His face was still throbbing, and he was sure he’d get black eyes, and his stomach was churning in pain. He spat at Lyric. “You dickhead,” he growled, and was rewarded with having his arm jerked by the ever helpful Baines. “That’s quite enough Jay,” Baines said sternly, “Go to the deputy’s office. She’ll want a word with you two, now hop to it.”
Baines released his grip on Jay, and the other teacher let go of Lyric. Rubbing his shoulders irritably, he followed the teacher who had grabbed Lyric out of the library, glaring back at Lyric. “If we get kicked out, it’s your fault,” he hissed, “Boys, quiet,” the other teacher said. Jay muttered an obscenity, and occupied himself by trying to figure out who the teacher was. [/sup][/blockquote]

He muttered back. He absolutely hated this school. He only came because his aunt had fucking spies around every corner. Leaning in once more, he smirked "And if you hadn't been so Damn rude this wouldn't have happened" He added before standing upright again "Lyric!" Mr. Reynolds scolded and Lyric hushed once more.[/ul]
