The day after the Valentine's dance Holly felt really happy that she had such a good time that she wanted to go out to party again, she was in a party mood. She couldn't find many of her closer friends to go with her, she didn't mind, she would go on her own anyway, you never know who you'll meet.
She walked into the club easily, nobody really cared what age you were. As soon as she walked in she could hear the music blasting and she liked it, she was in a happy hyper moshing mood. She was clad in her baby blue and white fairy dress with her white ballet pump shoes. She walked up to the bar, even though she didn't look anywhere near 21, she bought a pink cocktail, enough of them and she would be moshing in a dress.
She walked slowly over to the dance floor, drinking her cocktail, and leaned against the wall, she was hapy and content to be in a good place to party, she just wished there were others she knew that she could party with. |

Stephen had been in there for a while now, he had not gone to the party, he had no one to go with cause Addie had run off with someone else.
It was a lively affair as he had walked in, spotting no one he knew and went over to a bar, trying to look 21 and ordered a drink. He retreated to the back of the club, a cigerrate in his hand and sat down drinking and smoking, it was the thing he did when he was depressed, to smoke and drink and forget about the last couple of days.
A group of drunken girls walked past, giggling at him and one went up and tried to kiss him, Stephen moved away from her and she giggled and then walked on after her friends. Sluts thought Stephen as he watched them go, he looked towards the door as he saw someone come into it, seeing Holly Kennedy, he didn't bother to go over and say hi, he wasn't in the mood.

Holly stood against the wall, twisting her straw about in her drink, she was kind of bored already, she didn't really like to dance on her own. She looked around to the back of the club to see if she could spot anybody she knew from school, sher had to look twice. She had spotted Stephen who she had met a couple of times around the school and he was in some of her classes. She smiled and slowly walked over to the table he was sitting at, he didn't even seem to notice her yet, he seemed sad and Holly didn't like to see people unpset or sad when she wasn't.
"Hey Stephen!" she said happily

Stephen blinked as he heard a high pitched voice in his left ear. "Hey Stephen! What's up?"
Stephen glanced up and saw Holly standing beside him, how did she get over there so fast?
"Oh hey Holly, I'm not too bad, I've been better, how are you?" he asked her, watching her, she seemed in a happy mood. He took a puff from his cigerrate and took a gup of the drink, setting it down on the table once more.

Holly looked at Stephen and she knew that he didn't really seem himself, she would have to cheer him up somehow, she would make him dance with her, that was a good idea.
"I'm great Stephen, never been better actually" she said with a laugh
She pulled the chair out opposite stephen and she sat down. She placed her hand under her chin and her elbow on the table.
"So tell me, what's got you so down in the dumps?" she asked slowly but happily |

Stephen's eyes flicked towards her, he looked at her for a moment and then answered, "My girlfriend cheated on me a couple of days back, her name was Addie Donvan, do you know her?" he asked his new friend, for he was starting to feel he could trust Holly.
He sat back in his chair, staring up at the ceiling and blew smoke rings into the air, watching them float away into the air.

Holly felt sorry for Stephen after what he said, she would hate it if PJ cheated on her, she would never forgive him if he did that. She felt a certain sympathy for him and she smiled ackwardly, she had never heard of this Addie girl before.
"I can't say that I have heard of her Stephen, sorry. That totally sucks. I hope you dumped her skinny ass, you did right?"
It was not really like Holly to make fun of other people, but she couldn't condone cheating, although she did 'cheat' on Jay once, according to him, but she was drunk- there was not a lot she could have done.
"You're way too good for her anyway, you're probably better off without her, right?"
Holly liked Stephen's personality. He could be himself easily but he was quiet and shy, she thought it was cute. She had to think of a plan to get him more outgoing, at least in the club while they were there. |

Stephen shrugged, "Yeah, I sure hope so, she was all over me like two nights before she cheated, it was bloody annoying, I feel angry but I suppose I have to get on with it. he muttered, shrugging and smiling at Holly.
"What about you? Hows your love life going?" he asked smoking and taking a drink again, a smile spreading lightly across his face for a second then vanished as quickly as it had appeared.

She sat for a moment on hw she would get Stephen up to dance, he needed cheering up and Holly was the girl you came to if you needed cheering up, most of the time. She laughed silently at her own thoughts when she heard him say something.
"What about you? Hows your love life going?"
Holly smiled and thought of PJ, he was everything she wanted, he treated her like a princess and he respected her more than Jay did, all Jay did was use her as his own ragdoll.
"My love life is perfectly fine" she said happily with a girly smile
" PJ is the best guy I could ask for" she said with a giggle |

"Well thats good then." Stephen said smiling slightly but again the smile didn't last. He took another puff from the cigerrate, coughed as the smoke went to his lungs and had to take another sip of the drink beside him. He had been getting a slight cough over the last couple of days, probably because he had been smoking a bit too much because he was depressed so.
He looked at her, "where are your friends, I would thought that a person like you would have loads hanging around them? Not hanging around someone like me."

Holly thought about his question for a minute, she wondered why she could find many people around to come with her, if she had found some people she would have dragged them down. were all probably in class or doing homework or something.
"I don't really know Stephen..I couldn't really find anybody about to come with me..but Hey if you want to do something why should you need other people to do it with you" she said as she shrugged her shoulders
"and what do you mean, a guy like you?!, Stephen you're a great guy" she said as she reached her hand across the table. She wanted to grab his hands to pull him up to dance, she just wasn't sure how to go about it yet. |

Stephen shrugged, "I dunno, I was just saying..." he was depressed and liked saying bad insults to himself, it made him feel better.
"Are you trying to make me dance?" he asked her flatly as her hand went to grab his, "I suppose I could..." he trailed off.

Holly felt a bit happier for him, she knew it must had been a bit hard for him to say the things he said to her when he was feeling so down about it.
"Are you trying to make me dance?" "I suppose I could.."
Holly smiled and grabbed both of his hands as she got out of her chair to stand in front of him.
"yeah, come on" she said with a laugh
"It'll be fun, plus I think you need cheering up"
She smiled at him and leg go of one of his hand and dragged him to the dance floor. |

Stephen backed away slightly and then followed her onto the light of the dance floor. "I'm not that good." he muttered, bitting his lip, he grabbed her hand as the music changed to a faster dance then the one before. "I like this song." he muttered, smiling lightly.

" I don't care if your 'not that good' Mr, you'll get that butt on that dancefloor" she said as she laughed
She felt him grab her hand, she thought it was cute, It was just dancing, what was there to be scared of?, Holly usually didn't care how she danced she just went for it, dancing nicely or mosh dancing, although she kind of combined both styles into her own kind of dancing.
"yeah, I love this song too" she sais with a smile
She just stood and swayed holding onto his hand but she was too eager to dance so she let go of his hand and started to jump slightly on her tip toes and sway her hips. |
