The day had been yet another boring day, but now, it was a Friday. Thank god!
Eddie walked through the club, getting stares by some of the girls. He wanted to drink and just be silly. It was a Friday, that was the reason, no school tommorrow so get pissed.
He grabbed a beer and sat down, taking a sip, it felt so nice, running down his throat.

Holly had been talking to Ryuu on the IM for w hile when she had said to him that she hadn't been to Sierra in ages, probably because everytime she usually went she would have a drink or two ..or three, she felt quite proud of herself though, that she managed to not have a drink since she found out she was going to be a mommy, not that she was an alcoholic or anthing, far from it. She felt like going to Sierra for a while since she hadn't been in a while, she wanted to go herself- she didn't want to drag Ryuu along like she usually would, she just wanted to be herself this time, nobody was going to bother her anyway, right? Adorned in her yellow summer dress and her favourite black high heeled shoes She walked from her dorm, closing her door gently behind her. She got halfway to the club when she realised that had forgotten her phone after finding it behind her wardrobe where it got lost during the sleepover. She figured that she wouldn't need it anyway, would she? She finally made her way into the club and wanted to see if she could spot somebody she knew. The hated the music they were playing, it was something pop-ish and she hated that type of music so she really wanted to find somebody she knew. She looked over to the bar where so noticed her favourite bronze haired best friend, Edward. She smiled as she walked quickly up to him and sat on the stool next to him at the bar. "Hey Edward" she smiled |

Edward felt a shadow drift over him, he stared up as he saw Holly...Holly... She was looking lovely, she was his best friend, but he loved her, and he now knew that she was pregant and expecting a baby any time soon, he still loved her.
"Heya Holly." he said, smiling at her, "How are you?" he asked, taking a sip of his drink and grinning.

Holly was glad that she found somebody that she knew. Edward wasn't just somebody she knew though, he was one of her best friends and had been for a long time. She thought it quite strange that, apart from Reagan, all of her best friends were boys but she loved them all and she wouldn't know what to do without any of them.
"Im fine Edward. Been better but, yeah, I'm good" she said with a girly smile
"What 'bout you, how are you?" she asked

Edward smiled, "Yeah, I'm good, glad it is a Friday I guess, no more school!" well, it was only for two days but still! He sat back in the chair, eyeing her, "I heard about PJ and you, congrats." he said, his voice turning slightly cold, he wasn't going to say plainly, I wish you wern't with him but with me, I wish I was PJ not who I am.. but of course he didn't.
He drunk the whole of the beer in one and ordered another, his head was starting to hurt but it didn't matter.

Holly smiled when he said he was good. She was glad that she could get out of her dorm for once, just to come to a place where she could relax and be herself, but she was always her usual giggly girly self around anybody.
She giggled shyly when he mentioned her and PJ and played with a bit of her blonde hair in a shy way.
"Yeah, thanks" she muttered shyly
She watched him as he downed his drink and then got another, she didn't think this was like Edward and she knew something must be wrong for him to be doing that.
"Something up?" she asked
"You seem a bit distracted" she asked with a concerned tone |

Edward's head was starting to spin, he didn't know what was wrong with himself. Without warning, he reached towards Holly and kissed her bang on the lips, it was because of his drunken state that he was like this, he didn't know what he was doing, his head hurt and he wanted to do something to drop the pain from his head.
He pulled away and stared at her, his mouth opened, what had he just done? God.."God.." he muttered.

Holly waited for an answer when she asked him if something was wrong. She knew he looked distracted or something, she knew that something was bothering him and she'd like to help out with waht his problem was. She just didn't realise that she would phsyically help out with his problem when he leaned forward and kissed her. She didn't know what to think. She never had anybody do that to her before, especially one of her best friends. She was speechless and no words came out out until she took a deep breath. She didn't know what to say but she had to say something.
"Edward?" she asked softly
"Why?" she asked
It was all she could get out. She didn't know what else to say and words usually came easy to her. |

Edward stared at her for a minute, "Oh my god." his hand went to his lips and he touched them and then his eyes flickered to Holly's, shock on his face. He stood up suddenly and started to walk away from her, towards the back of the club. His head spinning.
Why had he done that? Why!? What was the point in kissing his best friend...a friend he loved...
He moved towards a chair, the table in the corner was dusty and barely used. He sat down on the chair.

Holly was still speechless, she still did't know what to say to him, she knew that anything she might say could make the situation worse. She watched him with cautious eyes as he got up and walked away from her and to the other side of the bar, to the back corner where there wasn't so many people. She couldn't understand why he kissed her, she had no idea he felt that way. Sure she loved him, but it was a best friend love, a different kind of love, not like she shared with PJ.
She wanted to find out why he kissed her, she felt a bit confused right now and she got up from her chair at the bar, flattening out her dress as she stood up. She walked in the direction she saw him go in, up to the back of the club. She found him sitting in a chair at the back of an old table. She didn't know how to approach him though, should she be sympathetic about it or should she be angry at the fact that he had kissed her. She walked up to the table where he was sitting at and she just stood there, watching him.
"Edward?" she asked softly
"I don't get it...why?" |

Edward's face turned to face her, his eyes met hers, they were so lovely...but No! he mustn't say...what he wanted...to..."Holly, I've liked you since we first met." he muttered, trying to think of the right words to put next. "I havn't started getting different sort of feelings for you since a couple of weeks ago...its just I love you." he had said it, he had said that hatefully word...love....
"I know you have PJ, I know...its just, I can't stop thinking about you.." pause.."Shit!" he suddenly said and put his face in his hands, "I hate being so bloody confused!" it didn't help that he had a spliting head ache from the drink.

Holly was shocked at what Edward had said. This was something she had never expected from him. She knew that they were best friends and all but never ever did she expect this. She didn't know what to say to him, she was stunned.
"..y.you...love me?" she asked quietly
She wanted to laugh when he said that he couldn't stop thinking about her, but she didn't, she knew he would feel even worse if she did. She thought it was weird that anybody would think about her all the time, afterall she just saw herself a little Holly, she didn't see herself as anything special.
"Edward, please don't be confused" she said slowly as she sat down across from him.
She sat and looked at him for a moment, she didn't know what to do or say anymore. She reached out and grabbed his hand, her hands were so small compared to his.
"Edward, ..... im sorry you feel that way but you know im with PJ" she said as she squeezed his hand in comfort. |

Edward nodded, he knew that she was with PJ. "I know, I know you are with ruddy PJ but I will always love you, seriously Holly." he muttered and kissed her hand as she held it in his.
"Look, I'm sorry about the kissing, I didn't mean to...well..." he shrugged, "You are just lucky, thats all to have PJ." Eddie sat back in his chair, his eyes straining all around her body and then back to her face.

Holly began to get a bit annoyed with Edward, she knew this wasn't going very well. She felt self concious from the way he kept looking at her like she was a piece of meat. She hated it when people did that to her, it made her feel insecure and that was the last things she needed. She began to get more annoyed at him as he kissed her hand and she stood up quickly from her chair.
"well Edward, you need to un-love me!"
When he said he was sorry that he kissed her she felt like laughing sarcastically but she waited to hear what he would say next. When he added the 'well' part it seemed to her that he was taking back what he said and that he had meant to kiss her.
"I can't belive you Edward! she shouted exasperately
" and I know Im lucky to have PJ and he will always be with me for our little boy. So I'm sorry Edward but you can't replace him" she said a bit quicker than she planned to. She was surpsried that she wasn't having a panic attack or something. |

Edward was making a right fool, being a right fool...but his head hurt and the last thing he wanted was Holly to...and she was doing it...shouting at him.
When she said he needed to un love her, he laughed bitterly. "Alright, I'll go and un love you then." he said shrugging, "What ever you say." he muttered, leaning back in his chair and taking a sip of the beer.
"It was just a kiss..god, it wasn't like I had sex with you or anything, and I know you have your boy...I know about that, and good luck with that..." he trailed off, lost for words abit as he had no idea what to say anymore. But a smile lingered still on his face, a amused smile.
