ooc; haha i think you made a typo. you wrote "good friend" and i think you meant "WANNABE GIRLFRIEND<3" lmao i love these two
Avery smiled, she was good at getting random pictures of her friends when they didn't expect it... well, she had been when she hung around her friends all the time. She hadn't seen too much of them lately, they just hadn't been around. The last time that Avery had had a real boyfriend was also in eighth grade, and she never saw the guy. The one before that was a stupid middle school thing, and she hadn't even liked the boy. Then the third one was this guy, who was a really good friend, who her friends persuaded her to go out with. It was really awkward for both of them, so it ended. She hadn't had a boyfriend since over a year ago, and she didn't even know what it felt like anymore. She hadn't held hands or whatever in a really long. "I don't think you're pathetic. If I did, I wouldn't be here. I think you're pretty cool." She bit her lip, a little nervous that maybe he didn't like her the way she liked him... Maybe she had misunderstood. She couldn't not say it, it was the truth. Suddenly she remembered something. "You forgot to ask another question..."

"Yeah, being with you is pretty fun. Avery," Chase started to say, but then paused. And stopped what he was about to say. 'Avery, I kind of want to make-out with you'. Like those words would ever come out of his mouth! Chase wasn't that forward, you could say. "Oh yeah, oops. I forgot the next question. Sorry, Avery." He said, quickly. "The next question is, what's your favorite color. Mine is green. It reminds me of peace and happiness. That sounds pathetic too. Sorry." He said again, in a rushed tone. Chase was still a little nervous about what happened before with him starting to talk and then stopping.

Funny thing is that if he would have said that, she would have. She wouldn't have protested AT ALL. Who in their right mind WOULD?! I mean, c'mon, look at the kid. He was Avery's version of physical male perfection as it stood right now. She smiled as he got all nervous, blushing slightly herself. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes as he talked, a sparkle in her brown eyes. She was starting to really like this guy, normally that's where the trouble began. Hopefully Chase Oliver Hill would not lead to trouble. "Mine's green too. Green or yellow, it's a tie. They're really bright, they make me happier. Have you ever broken a bone? I broke my ankle three times when I was 7, 9 and 12. And I broke my collarbone when I was 13. I broke my wrist when I was 8, and I've broken too many fingers and toes to count." She just realized how many bones she had broken. Over five, that's a lot. More than most people break in their life, and it isn't that she had fragile bones or was clumsy or weak or anything, she ran around without shoes on in the wilderness of Maine as a kid. All the time. So she's destined to get her foot trapped in a rock, or fall off come stuff. It happens.

After Avery had explained how many times she broke her bones, Chase finally regained his normalness, you could say. "That's a lot!" Chase laughed, "You poor thing." Chase smiled wildly. She must have thought Chase was on crack or something. He was always smiling, and his face was always blushed when she was around. "I broke my arm in first grade on the monkey bars. I'm a dare devil." Chase looked into Avery's eyes. It was a good feeling to be around Avery like this. It was an amazing sensation, knowing someone was ready to listen. "Do you like to drink?" Chase asked, "I hate it. I never do it."

Avery chuckled as Chase "pitied" her. She knew he was sort of joking, although it was a lot, she could handle herself and she knew he knew that. "You are quite the dare devil." She laughed, she did that a lot around him. That and smile and wish that they were more than friends. He made her do that, he had that effect on her. Her eyes locked with his and she was sure her cheeks turned a very unpleasant shade of red. She but her lip and tried to smile back, he abseloutly made her breathless somtimes. "I drink water! Umm... What type of music do you listen to & whose your favorite artist?" She smiled, she liked music a lot.

"I meant beer and wine and stuff." Chase laughed, shaking his head at the girl. Sometimes she was so silly. But he couldn't deny it, Chase thought it was cute.
"I like country music." Chase chuckled, blushing slightly. He wondered if she hated country music. A lot of people did around here, in Miami. "What about you? What's your favorite?" Chase asked.

"To answer that last question of yours for real, on occasion but I don't get totally drunk. I hate drunk people..." Avery couldn't help but smile like mad, and even giggle a little, as Chase laughed. Everything about him just made her weak in the knees. And all she could manage in return was weak smiles and giggling. "I like a lot of Classic Rock and stuff. Like Rush and Tom Petty. He's not really classic rock, but Tom Petty owns all." She smiled, she thought it was adorable that Chase liked country music. That genre usually had the best love songs. She didn't listen to too much of it herself, but she listened sometimes. Mostly to crossover artists, like Taylor Swift. "Okay you forgot your question again but I have one so I'm skipping you. What were you like as a kid? Cause I think you would have been a really fun kid to hang out with..."

"Yes, me too. Drunk people are embarassing to be around." Chase replied, with a smile. This little 'date' of theirs was just filled with smiles. Which made Chase pretty happy.
"Classic rock is pretty cool, as well." Chase agreed, although he never really listend to it as much as country.
"Well I didn't ask a question because you didn't answer you own, Avery." He laughed. The way the name Avery came off his tongue felt cool. It was actually pretty undescribable.
"Me? As a child?" Chase asked, a broad smile upon his face. "Well I was the basic shy boy in the corner who hated getting called on. How about you?" He asked, fixing his tee shirt.

Smiles didn't make Avery pretty happy, but Chase Hill made her pretty damn ecstatic. As he reminded her that she hadn't answered her question, her eyes widened slightly. She bit the corner of her lip, thinking back to asking the music question. That's right! She hadn't answered it. Haha and so he called her out on it. But that's okay because she called him out twice on not asking one. "Well I answered it, but just at a later time. Ha. And as a kid, I was reeaaaaally tomboy-ish. I loved being outside and I loved animals. And you really do not come across as that type of kid, I was totally picturing a spaztic little kid running around and jumping off stuff." She laughed, he really, to someone who didn't think of him like she did, probably didn't come across as that type of kid. But something in his smile just made Avery think that there was something inside he was holding back, energy or experiences or words or whatever it may be. He wasn't totally letting go. She wasn't aware that he was holding back the urge to kiss her.

Chase smiled, "Oh, yeah I forgot. Whatever.."
"You kind of seem like the tom-boy type." Chase told her, "Just by the way you act, I don't know." He started to laugh. God, this girl had to think Chase was drunk, or just was really ditzy and laughed at anything. But hey, Avery was laughing too.
"Nah, I was the shy kid." Chase replied. "Alright, next question... Do you want something to drink? I forgot to ask." He laughed, and stood up. "We have water, uh all kinds of soda, milk, orange juice and I don't know." Chase said, "What do you want, if anything?"

"You seem the devilishly handsome, totally charming and compleatly amazing type. But that's just an observation." Avery smirked, winking at him. She was sure to score some points for that one. Hah probably not, he was a shy type of person. He'd probably be like "hah thanks but no you are" because that's what he did with compliments. Deflect them. But she didn't care, she thought it was cute either way. "Nah, I'm fine. I had a Diet Coke on the way here..."
ooc; hey if i'm not back when you get on later tonight, don't flip. i have a chorus concert, i'll get home around eight. same 8 for you and me cause we're in the same time zone. score.

“Ha, okay sure. That sounds more like you. But subtracting the words devilishly handsome and adding drop dead gorgeous and completely unlike the stuck up girls wearing Abercrombie and Fitch everyday. Just saying..” Chase told her, a cute smile crossing his face. “You’re different. I admire that. A lot actually.” He replied, to his first comment. Chase was stunned with himself. Not in a million years, would he think that he would say that to Avery. Sure he thought that stuff in his head, but he never did think it would come out of his mouth. “Okay, that’s fine.” He smirked, running his fingers through his brunette locks.

Avery compleatly and totally blushed like mad when he said this, she'd never been told something like that before. It made her feel really good... She was sure her smile was something different this time, and hoped it didn't look like the inside of her head. That would have been bad on the first date, which is usually not the place for a 'lets make out I like you a lot ahhhhhh' smile. She bit her lip, still blushing slightly. "You're the total opposite of every guy I've ever met... and I love that..."

Along with Avery, Chase blushed like a mad man as well. It wasn’t every day you confess to someone that they aren’t like the rest. You only say that to people really special. “Yeah…” Chase said, not being able to think of anything else. He was for a loss of words. At that exact moment, Chase was about ready to pounce on her, and start to kiss. But that’s not what gentleman do on the first date. So instead, Chase stood up, and sat on the floor next to his friend wannabee girlfriend, Avery. He looked her in the eyes and smiled. Something definitely special was going on here.

Avery giggled, trying desperately to hide it, as he blushed. How cute. Not like he wasn't cute all the time... he was, truly, one of the most good looking guys she'd seen in a long time. And she was at his house, shamelessly flirting with him. And he was flirting back. Hello twilight zone! She couldn't help but laugh as he talked, he was out of words and, to be honest, so was she. She bit her lip as he sat down with her. She couldn't have said anything right then if she tried. She couldn't nor did she want to HELLO look away from his eyes as they just sat there on the floor of his kitchen. She bit her lip still, hoping she wouldn't draw blood from biting it so hard. It isn't that she was nervous, because for some reason she wasn't. She was just... excited. No, just really happy. She hadn't been this happy in a long time.
