Dakota looked at her phone to check the time. 5:30. Time to go meet Alex at the beach. Dakota put on a pair of jeans, a plain white tank top, her black hoodie, and her black Converse. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and walked out to the parking garage. She climbed into her car and turned on the radio. She backed out of the parking garage and drove quickly to the beach. It was like 6:00 before she got there. She parked her car and climbed out. Walking to the beach, she sighed and looked around for Alex. He wasn't here yet so she just sat down in the sand. She pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on the top of her knees.

Alex was running late, it was five past six by the time he had jumped into his silver Audi TT.
It had taken him ages to find his keys, and he was certain that someone had deliberately hidden them in his old vans.
He pulled up by the side of the beach and got out of the car, his black hair messy due to the wind.
He zipped up his jacket and hurried over to where he noticed Dakota.
Sitting beside her, he wrapped an arm around her waist, and kissing her on the cheek. "Hey" He said slowly.

Dakota jumped slightly when someone put thier arm around her, but she noticed it was Alex and grinned. "Hey." She kissed his lips lightly and said "I misseded you." She wrapped her arms around him and leaned on him. :]

Alex laughed as he made her jump, and hugged her tighter.
He sighed and looked up at the sky, "I've missed you too" He said quietly, thinking about how much he hated having detention. "Fucking detention" He muttered.
He gave her a small smile, it was his fault that he was in detention so he couldn't really complain. "You been okay?" He asked.

Alex frowned slightly, not really understanding her.
His heart skipped a beat suddenly, but he remained calm. It couldn't be about Ryuu or anything, because they were drunk and it didn't mean anything.
He snuggled closer to her, "What kind of things?" He asked, quite eager to know.

"That some girl has a crush on you." She kissed him lightly and said "Doesn't bother me though." She snuggled at close as she could to him, her face buried in his chest.
"Hmmm.. Besides you getting girls all over you what have you been up to?" She said, grinning.

Alex shrugged, he didn't know who she meant, he was going to say something along the lines of 'Well who doesn't' but he though he would sound like a vain prick so he kept shut.
"Who?" He asked with a laugh, trying to think his way through the enrolled students, he kissed her head softly, "Your hair smells nice" He said with a smile.
He thought for a moment, he hadn't actually been doing anything. "Got double detention" He said quietly.

Alex went through a list of names in his head, trying to think of a name to match the description. He couldn't think, so he shrugged the thoughts away, "Well I'm happy with the prettiest girl in school" He said with a smile, meaning dakota.
"Feel asleep in History" He mumbled, it wasn't a good move. "Worst hang over ever" He explained with a laugh.

She heard what he said after that and blushed "No. You're not allowed to sayy thatt."
She laughed and said "Yeah, I know what you mean.. I didn't even wake up for school."

A name suddenly clicked in Alex' head; she must mean Holly, but that couldn't be true.
"Why not?" He laughed, "Because it is so totally true!" He said with his eyes wide, his normal aqua brightness shown instead of his recent misty looking eyes.
"That could have worked!" He said after Dakota had told him she'd missed school. "I wouldn't have earned another hour after school" He sighed, and shrugged, realising he couldn't change anything now.

Dakota shook her head and said "Butt it'll make me blush." She kissed him quickly and grinned.
Dakota laughed and said "Yeah. You should really be smarter next time." She tapped his head with her finger and laughed.

Alex laughed, kissing her back, "Well that just proves my point then" He said with a smile.
Alex grabbed her finger playfully, and wouldn't let go, although he was deliberate not to hurt her.
"I should indeed, then I wouldn't have to limit my time with you"

"Noo." Dakota said, frowning. "I don't like blushing. What if I made you blush? How would you like that?" She grinned at him.
Dakota pouted and tried to pull her finger from Alex's grasp. She knew he wouldn't hurt her so she said "Oww." To try to mkae him let though, but he wasn't really hurting her. "Mmm.. I'd like unlimited time with my little Alex." |
