[avery&chase] a little run-in at the mall..

Avery grinned up at him, "Thanks. You have a cute everything." She listened as he talked about movies. Awe he was a gentleman. How cute... she was almost a little worried, she was falling for him. "Well I'll probably end up picking a Will Ferrel movie. I love him he's so funny!" She just kept looking up at him, he had this smile on his face, this twinkle in his eye. He was just so... she didn't even know. So unlikely to be found by her, that's for sure.

"Do I?" Chase asked, wondering if he really did have a cute 'everything'. Of course when he was little, his grandmother told him so, but not really but a girl around his age. It never appeared to Chase that girls actually liked him. Maybe because he was too absent minded to realize anything.

"That sounds good to me. I'm always up for a good laugh." He told her, a broad smile on his face. "All his movies are good." Chase said, "Even Elf."

Avery nodded as he asked if she was serious. She was, how could he not know he was hot. HELLO!? Anyway, she let it go and listened to him talk about movies. "Oh come on! Elf is the best Christmas movie everrr! You know it is! I love that movie. And Anchorman. That's awesome. Wedding Crashers, Blades of Glory, both good." She laughed through the first part then started thinking of movies. Heck she was probably rambling. Who cared, not Chase she hoped.

"Elf is a good movie." Chase said, agreeing with Avery. "But it's not the best. You know what I mean? I personally love Blades of Glory and Anchorman. Those are pretty sweet." He smiled, looking down at her. "I think we should watch one of those." Chase nodded his head and thought for a second, if he had those movies in his collection. "Yeah, come to think of it, I have both those movies. So if you want to watch those, that's cool. So we don't have to rent, you know." Chase informed her, a grin still placed on his face.

Avery tucked her hair behind her ear, and nodded at the Elf comment. It wasn't his best, but it was a pretty darn good christmas movie if you asked her. She smiled as he said they could watch Anchorman or Blades of Glory. "Yessss. I love those. I'm super excited now." She smiled really wide, matching only his smile. This was great. She looked down at her wrist and gasped slightly. "I didn't realize how long we'd been here. It's been an hour and a half. I really didn't plan on spending this much time here. Um. I have homework..."

"Okay, good." Chase smiled, as Avery looked down at her watch.

"An hour and half? Holy crap." He laughed, "Time flies when you're having fun." Chase smirked at his rather 'witty' comment, while checking out the time for himself. "Well, I guess I'll see you soon." The boy told her, the smile still on his face.

Avery's smile lay frozen as well, she couldn't make it go away even if she wanted to. She bit the inside of her lip and looked up at him. This was the downside of being short, piggyback rides from friends were the upside of it. She grinned as he made his cute little witty remark. "Ha ha. How cute. Chase made a funny." She said jokingly. She leaned up and pressed a small kiss to his cheek again before saying "Later gator." And walking away.
