Walking around aimlessly at the local Miami mall, was Chase Hill. All of his friends had plans, leaving poor Chase all alone. He had just gotten off from his shift from Abercrombie, so he was free like a bird. Chase still wasn't sure why he had taken the job at that preppy place filled with overpriced clothing. But he had, so end of story.
Chase strolled over to the smoothie stand, placed in the middle of the mall grounds. He ordered a strawberry smoothie, and waited for the girl to blend everything together. Looking across the way, he saw his reflection in a store's windows. Chase was still wearing his "preppy" Abercrombie clothing from earlier. A navy blue humor tee that said, "Save a cherry, pop a collar.", and dark blue jeans. On his feet were black and white Pumas. The only article of clothing that wasn't from the store he worked at.
The girl from the smoothie stand returned with his drink, and Chase handed her a five dollar bill. "Keep the change.." He told her, with a half smile on his face.

blah blah blah cute lyrics go hereValentines day was around the corner and, obviously, Avery couldn't be more excited. She had put on the cutest, most lovey, valentine-y type outfit she could find and headed out to the mall, alone. Boy scouting, possibly. She went to the local smoothis stand, she was such a smoothie snob. Every time she came to the mall she got one. And mostly the same thing too. She got to the counter, a fresh 5 in her hand. "My usual, tropical berry twistahhhhh!" She laughed at the farmiliar bargirl. She got the smoothie and took a sip. Ahhh sweet refreshment.
She put the bill on the counter and let them keep the change, like always. She turned around, smoothie in hand and took another sip of the purple-red concoction. She spotted an exceptionally cute boy and decided she would go work it out. Yep, flirting. She walked up and smiled her sweetest smile. "Wouldn't mind shopping around with you." She was so bad with lines. Hopefully he didn't think she was a total idiot.

Chase watched a girl with bright red sneakers approach the smoothie stand. She was not for sure an Abercrombie regular. This girl here had orginality. He chuckled quietly as the girl ordered. She was vibrant and cheerful, or so she seemed. Chase was quite surprised as that same girl striked up a conversation with him. As the girl talked, Chase was grinning. Like mad. Boy, was that boy easily moved. "Really?" He said, probably the most ridculous response possibly ever.. but he wasn't really thinking striaght either.

Avery watched the boy as she talked. No way he was grinning because... well for any reason besides her idiocy. She looked at him, an eyebrow raised as he talked. "You smile nice. And yes, really." She laughed through the last part. This boy was strange, not the type she was used to. Pushovers, that's what she was used to. He wasn't trying. Somehow, it was great. She smiled, her pearly whites showing in the goofy smirk. "I'm Avery Grace Parker, pleased to make your acquaintance. You are...?" She smiled still, she always introduced herself with her full name. It's how she was.
ooc; sorry its short and stupid. i cant think of anything at all.

Chase continued to smile, as the girl talked to him. "Oh thanks." Chase replied, as she complimented his smile. "Your's is nice too.." He sighed, returning the compliment. "Oh, I'm Chase Hill." He replied, while taking a sip of his strawberry smoothie. Chase was surprised that Avery talked to him. Girls usually either stared at him, or ignored him. It was the norm for poor Chase.
ooc; its okay, mine is sucky too.

Avery chuckled shortly, "Please." She rolled her eyes. She was surprised he hadn't laughed i her face and walked away yet. She still expected it a little but was starting not to. "Let's walk, Chase Hill." She started to herself, looking back to see if he wouldn't. She expected him not to. Most people had heard of her and steered clear although she didn't see why. She took a sip of smoothie as she just looked at him, one eyebrow raised.
ooc; this is just a festival of suck. the whole thread could be XD

This Avery Parker girl, she was quite interesting. With her off-beat style, that still looked pretty cool. And her ability to be incredibly flirty, but not in a dominate matter. He made a face at her, trying to decide if she was just joking around or being completely serious. Chase had nothing better to do, so he followed the girl. "Where are we going?" Chase asked, for he rarely took any risks what-so-ever. He was more into going with the flow, even if that meant traveling around the mall alone.
ooc; my attempt of making it "non-suckish" didnt work :/

Avery looked back at him and sipped at her smoothie, making that incredibly annoying noise that happens when theres none left but the drinker thinks there is. Yeah, that noise. She shrugged, removing her mouth from the bendy, blue straw. "I don't know. Is that going to be a problem?" She laughed. This was strange, just walking around with some random CUTE kid she never met before. This was unlike her in every aspect but it was proving to be fun. She waited until he caught up with her and turned to him like she was going to say something but just smiled, a glint in her eye, not saying a word.
ooc; i'm not even TRYING at this point kelsdarling

Mimicking Avery, Chase took a small sip out of his smoothie. It was good, and really cold. He watched Avery. She was so out-going, like she had no care in the world. After Avery stated to him that she didn't know where they would be heading he said, "Um, I guess not."
"Do you go to Watson?" Chase asked, smiling back at her. Trying to end the awkward silence between them.
ooc; your turn lusciousliz!

Avery laughed, why did he seem so nervous. It was horribly adorable. She nodded when he said he didn't think so. She sipped at her smoothie again and walked with the boy. "Yeah. Sophmore year's a killer. You?" she laughed, it wasn't really that bad but the drama surrounding her at school... well, that could kill...
ooc; sorry its short. i suck. your turn kelseykillah

"I'm a junior." Chase replied, listening to her talk. "Sophmore year wasn't that bad for me." He told her casually. "But I guess being a girl, and having all that drama and what not, must be hard." He told her, with a half smile on his face. Chase liked being with Avery, it was a change, that's for sure.
ooc; four lines! woohoo, go me! ha.

Avery grined like a fool. "I. Have. NO. Dramaaaaa." She laughed. It was true, no boys, no really good friends, no problems. Even though it was a little lonely. Hey, she still had her smoothies. And smoothies are life, as she took another sip. She flicked some of her hair out of her eye, pulling her Risky Business sunglasses off her head, folding them and draping one of the earpieces into her beltloop, exposing her brown eyes. Seriously, who doesn't love that movie. C'mon, 80s movies ROCK OUT HARD (:
ooc; if you havent seen 16 candles go watch it right now, the last scene is the only thing i want in life.

Chase responded to Avery's comment with a big smirk. Was it possible for any girl to live without drama? With shows like 'The Hills' and 'One Tree Hill', he thought it was impossible.
He chuckled as Avery took off her sunglasses and placed them on her belt buckle. "I never really see you around school.." Chase told her, out of the blue.

Avery laughed, almost horribly girlishly before she managed to stop herself, at Chase's smirk. How cute, how freakin cute! She could tell what he was thinking, heck anyone would if a girl in high school who was moderately good looking told someone they had no drama. How could you not? Well no boys and no real good friends to make up sh!t about the nonexistant boys, means no drama. Lonely explaination but it's real. He chuckled and she had to struggle to stand up straight, she was melting. He laughed cute too, this kid was going to kill her! "I never really see you around school or I would have walked up to you and acted like a moron much earlier than today!" She laughed, she was acting like a moron. Although she had only meant to say 'I would have done this a lot sooner'. You know, things slip out.
ooc; sorry i took forever to reply, wrong account and idc what color her speech was i dont remember XD

Chase watched Avery as she laughed. Was he that hilarious? Or was she just finding flirting with him some kind of evil joke? Chase was never the one all the ladies threw themselves at. It was always that popular, outgoing guy on the football and lacrosse teams. Not the shy boy sitting in the corner, avoiding eye contact.
"You're not a moron." He told her with a serious look on his face. "If anyone's a moron.. it's probably me." Chase laughed, "Serious, too."
