Bill followed Ryuu to the screen where their movie was showing and smiled politely at some of the kids who were outside. He shifted closer to the older boy as he kissed his cheek. "And if I do?" he joked, grinning up at him.
Still smiling, he glanced around at all the people milling about. He wasn't sure why, but he was somewhat excited to be at the movies with Ryuu. It could almost be considered a date. However, the one part of his brain kept telling him not to get too excited about the whole thing; it was just two friends catching a movie together. Frowning slightly, he looked over to see Ryuu was lost in thought. He felt the older boy's arm slip from his waist and he raised an eyebrow. "Everything alright?" he asked, stepping closer to Ryuu, while pushing away the temptation to touch him somehow.

“If you do…hum…I’ll just have to shut you up,” he purred, and raised an eyebrow suggestively, but it got lost under his beanie.
Sighing, he shrugged and put his arm round him again as people started coming out. “Fine…just thinking,” he mumbled, still staring at the floor. With a jolt, he remembered the convocation he’d had on IM last night. That had been a ferocious shock, having Irja suddenly appear out the blue. Unfortunately, Ryuu had forgotten just how mad his family was at him. And that troubled him. Was he really that bad a person? Why would Kailie worry about him? Kailie was the one that started the fist fight, Ryuu had only been protecting himself…He closed his eyes for a moment, starting to get a headache. One of the cinema staff came and stood by the door to take tickets, and Ryuu pulled Bill over, smiling as best he could as he handed the tickets over and went into the dimly lit room.

Laughing, Bill pushed away the smartass comeback that was sitting on the tip of his tongue. However, his smile quickly faded as he watched Ryuu stare at the floor. He knew the older boy was lying, there had to be something on his mind, but he decided against pushing it.
“Okay..” he muttered, trailing off as he watched people pouring out of the theater. Taking note of the small smile he’d been given, Bill smiled back quickly as he was lead to the door. Once inside, he looked around; it had been quite a long time since he’d actually gone to a theatre to see a movie.

Ryuu let go of Bill and climbed the stairs, reading the number on his ticket. It was a row near the back, to the left. He reached their chairs, and groaned. It was right in the middle of a row, so there would possibly be people on either side of them. Turning to wait for Bill, he then clambered into his seat and popped open the minstrels. Setting the box of popcorn between his feet carefully, he put his head back, staring at the ceiling. When would Irja decide to call him? Did Irja even have his number? Surely he could find his dorm…what if they fought? What if Irja was only here to take him home? Millions of questions buzzed in his head, and he screwed his eyes shut, trying to block them out.

Bill slowly followed Ryuu up to their seats. He plopped himself down next to the older boy and watched as the theater filled up. He hoped that no one ended up next to them but knew it would be hard to avoid. Turning his head to look at Ryuu, he saw that he was staring at the ceiling and knew that something was definitely up with him. Despite the fact that he didn't know Ryuu all that well, he knew him enough to know that he wasn't acting like his usual self.
"You sure everything's alright?" he asked, hoping Ryuu wouldn't get angry over his prying, "Because you don't seem like.. you.." he muttered, not really sure how to word his thoughts.

Ryuu sat up again, and shook his head, handing Bill the minstrels. “Not really…my train of thought carried me the wrong way,” he frowned, biting his lip. He scooted as close as he could get, and casually put his arm round Bill’s shoulder. “I’ll live. I’m a big boy,” he grinned, “If you don’t like the film, we can leave, m’kay?” laughing slightly, he squeezed Bill’s shoulder. Someone in the row behind him complained to their friend that Bill’s hair was in the way, and Ryuu glared back at them. Smiling in satisfaction, Ryuu put his mouth near Bill’s ear as the adverts started to roll and the lights dimmed, “Next time we come to the theatre, make your hair extra poofy. No one can see behind you,” he chuckled softly, and turned his attention to a cleverly done but very pointless car advert.

Bill took the candy from Ryuu. He smiled as the older boy moved toward him and he shifted closer as well. Not sure how to respond to Ryuu's comment, he nodded his head before leaning over and pressing a light kiss to his lips. “If the movie sucks and we leave, I’ll be bored,” he grinned, “I’m sure I’ll be able to sit through it.”
"Yah, I'll do that," he laughed, glancing back at the guys who had been talking, “I’ll use so much hairspray it won’t move.”

Ryuu laughed, grinning when Bill kissed him, “Oui, but I won’t,” he snorted, his French accent heightened as he spoke it. The person behind grumbled and moved to the other side of their friend so that they could see. The adverts were so long and boring, Ryuu yawned, and stole a minstrel off of Bill. “I love these. They smell délicieux,” he said quietly, sucking on it so that it melted on his tongue. Having his arm around Bill reminded him painfully of the day before, when he’d had a little fling with Oli. It hadn’t been anything really…he just wanted to snog him but he couldn’t help but feel guilty. He didn’t even know if he and Bill were officially going out. Maybe he should ask…? Ryuu sighed, trying to concentrate on the adverts. The last one faded to darkness, and the screen burst into life again, warning against using cigarettes and mobiles, before the film finally began. The screen was dark, with a slightly green tinge. It showed a city, in the middle of a rain storm. A dark figure appeared to be walking towards the audience, and suddenly he fell back, a gunshot had been fired into his head. Blood poured everywhere (in impossibly copious amounts) and a second dark figure leapt on him, proceeding to disembowel the first person with a kitchen knife. Ryuu sank in his chair, a nasty memory projecting its self on the screen. Ryuu’s own version was of a play ground, bathed in warm summer sun. The figures weren’t dark; they were dressed in white tracksuits and grey sweaters. Ryuu had been holding a knife, and so had his friends. Ryuu hadn’t taken part in stabbing the boy, but he’d watched it all happen, and still remembered it in vivid detail. He paled, feeling a bit nauseous.

Rolling his eyes playfully, he sank lower in his seat, just incase there was anyone else behind him. He knew how frustrating it could be trying to see over people and he knew the fact the he was quite tall didn't help. He watched Ryuu take one of the candies and lifted the box to read the side. Minstrel's; he'd never actually heard of them before.. he liked gummy bears and that was about it for candy. "What exactly are these?" he questioned, giving the box a weird look.
Bill shifted again, trying to get closer to Ryuu before realizing it wasn't going to happen. Suddenly, the sound of a gunshot rang through the theater and he jumped lightly, eyes wide. As he watched the figure on screen being attacked, the only thought that entered his head was of how disgusting it was. Despite his love for horror films, he could never understand why he watched them, they always grossed him out completely. Glancing at Ryuu, he noticed that he looked off. He was tempted to, once again, ask if he was alright but decided that he'd already nagged him enough. Instead, he turned back to the screen.

Ryuu shrugged, not really sure how to describe the small chocolates. “Dunno…hard coated chocolates I guess,” he muttered, still staring pale facedly at the screen. It had switched to a stark white room, where a couple of very fit FBI members with movie star teeth were discussing this manic killer. Ryuu clenched his fist, like he was gripping his knife. His palm felt sweaty, and he glanced at the floor. He could have ended up in prison for years if he’d been caught…he didn’t realise how lucky he was. Noticing the popcorn, he picked it up and ate a few. He might need the bucket later…He rested his head on Bill’s shoulder, feeling guilty about the Oli thing. Maybe … “Hey…Bill?” he muttered quietly, the film was a slow starter, and he was already bored, “Would…If…If I said…I’d … I dunno … Hypothetically speaking, if I’d kissed someone else between the other night in my dorm and now, would you kill me?” he finally managed to word his sentence, and almost cringed at it’s hopelessness.

Bill shifted in his seat as he watched the movie on the screen. At this point he was really hoping it would get better. Every couple seconds he'd glance at Ryuu from the corner of his eyes and wondered if he was as bored as he was. Noticing the popcorn, he grinned and snatched a couple pieces, chewing happily as he gazed around the dark room. He felt Ryuu place his head on his shoulder and smiled. He was tempted to grab the older boy's hand, but the thought was quickly pushed aside.
Glancing down at Ryuu's beanie-covered head, he listened as he tried to spit out the sentence. Upon hearing the words, he rolled his eyes. Hypothetically speaking, my ass, he thought and shifted away from Ryuu slightly. He was upset, yes, but he wasn't all that surprised.. he should have seen it coming. He opened his mouth to speak, but the words refused to come out; he wasn't all that sure of what to say anyway.
Without meaning to he let out a loud sigh and glanced around the theater again while fidgeting. "No," he whispered, his voice was tainted with a mixture of disappointment and venom, "You can do whatever you want. It's not like we're together."

Ryuu opened his mouth to apologise, when a close up of a man’s chest being stabbed flashed up on the screen, blood pouring everywhere. “Fucks sake!” he whimpered, staring down at the box of popcorn. It wasn’t empty enough. He felt his stomach clench guiltily, and his skin felt clammy with a cold sweat. What the hell was wrong with him? He couldn’t understand for the life of him why he was reacting like this. Without realising, he put his other arm round Bill, hugging him for comfort. He remembered the times he’d filmed his gang beating up old ladies, and scaring young kids with their knifes, even his own brother. It sickened him, and his pale, green tinted face reflected that.

Bill felt Ryuu latch on to him and immediately tensed up, shuffling away. He glanced over at the older boy and noticed the look on his face. "You look like you're gonna be sick," he stated, smiling a bit to himself as it was the perfect reason for him to get away. Despite his earlier comment, he did care and wanted nothing more than to go back to his room and sulk, "Maybe we should leave.. and you should go home to rest."

Ryuu quickly let go when he felt Bill shuffle away, and sat up, leaning on the opposite arm rest. He nibbled at a few more bits of popcorn, not really feeling that unwell…it was just the guilty twisting of his stomach that had set off a wave of nausea. He shrugged, looking down at the popcorn. “N-no…Je vais bien,” he muttered, trying to concentrate on the screen. It showed the characters from the FBI again, a blonde woman with unthinkably huge breasts, and a very fit, masculine guy. They made out quite often, instead of trying to solve the mystery. Ryuu rolled his eyes, and glanced at Bill. Bill definitely wouldn’t want to even touch him after his little nausea moment. Frowning, he turned his attention back to the screen. To his horror, it was a playground. It wasn’t sunny though, it was dark as night like the rest of the film. He stiffened, watching as a young boy crossed the park. The killer leapt on him, and stabbed him to death. It was the final straw for Ryuu. He got up, and walked calmly out of the theatre.
Once outside, he felt better. He was leaning against the wall of the theatre, cigarette in hand with the late afternoon sun failing to the left of his sight. The sunset stained the white pavements and walls a pale orange, and the toxic smoke that curled up from his cigarette was tainted the same colour. It coiled up into the sky, uninterrupted by wind, before it dispersed over the top of the building. He closed his eyes, breathing deeply. ‘I knew it’d come back to haunt me some time soon…’ he thought dismally, and stared pacing, scuffing his shoes on the pavement thoughtfully.

Muttering under his breath, Bill rolled his eyes, not believing Ryuu. He watched him nibble on popcorn before turning his attention back to the screen, which was filled with the image of a playground. He watched a young boy get stabbed and turned again to glance at Ryuu, only to see him leaving the theatre. Sighing loudly, he remained in his seat for a moment before getting up, grabbing the almost forgotten bag and leaving as well.
As he looked around for Ryuu, he noticed him leaning against a wall, smoking. He stopped just a few steps in front of the older boy, his arms crossed over his chest. He knew he couldn't get angry over the 'hypothetical' kiss so he decided this was a good enough reason to let it out.
"What the fuck Ryuu? You say you're fine, which is a load of crap because you're obviously not, then get up and leave without a word? Seriously?" he rambled on, his anger showing as he used exaggerated arm movements, before sighing loudly and leaning himself against the wall, "It wasn't even that bad," he muttered as he stared at the ground.
