//- But my dreams they aren't as empty as my conscience seems to be -\\
Pulling up in the last space in the parking lot, Ryuu cut the engine of his battered white car and climbed out. It was rusty and had mud caked onto the bottom. He looked at the ‘now showing’ posters, and groaned. They were all sappy love films. Sighing, he guessed Bill would like at least one, and leant into the car to get his present. As soon as Ryuu set foot in the mall, he knew that finding something for Bill would be a nightmare. Girls were easy, they liked chocolates and perfume and stuff like that. Ryuu wasn’t sure if Bill would be too impressed with the latest CK for Her, or some floral granny scent and he didn’t even know where to begin when it came to men’s perfume. In the end, he found a nice studded belt that looked about the right size. It was wrapped in a paper bag, proudly proclaiming the item was from American Eagle. Ryuu was never one for wrapping paper. He always ended up wrapping up his hands, not the object in question. He went inside, and sat down in one of the metal, slightly padded chairs and waited for Bill to turn up.

Bill hurried across the street toward the theatre. He knew he should just fork out the money for driving school and get his liscence, but he didn't think him behind the wheel would be very safe. As he got closer ot the buliding, he took a second to look at the ad's for movies that were playing. he rolled his eyes at all the lovey-dovey ones; he'd been looking forward to a horror film. Shuffling inside, he looked around for Ryuu and noticed him sitting in one of the chairs, a bag in his hand. It was then that Bill remembered the older boy had mentioned something about having something for him. He slipped into the seat next to Ryuu. "Hey!" he said, grinning.

Ryuu was tapping his hands, oblivious to everything around him (even the girls staring at him rather indiscreetly) and only looked up when Bill spoke. Well, not so much looked up as jumped out of his skin. “Agh! Ce que sur Terre?!” he exclaimed, and then broke into a grin. “Hey gorgeous,” he purred, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek, and pressing the bag into his lap. “You’re really hard to buy for, you know,” he complained, hoping Bill wasn’t the kind of guy who had a studded belt for every day of the week.

Bill smirked as Ryuu jumped, "Sorry," he laughed.
Feeling himself blush as the older boy kissed his cheek, he looked down at the bag that had been placed in his lap. He opened it quickly and his face lit up when he saw what was inside. He pulled out the belt and turned it around in his hands. It was perfect, he was in desperate need of a new studded belt. The one he’d had before had somehow ripped in half and after trying to duct-tape it back together, he decided maybe it was time to throw it out. Glancing at Ryuu, he raised an eyebrow. “Thanks,” he smiled, leaning over to press his lips to Ryuu’s quickly; “What’s it for though?” he asked, genuinely confused as to why he’d been given a gift.

//- Wake up and see the places, all you got and all you take. You don't have to fall to pieces -\\
Ryuu shrugged, not really sure why he’d bought anything, he just wanted to. He was known to be a chronic impulse buyer, and he had lots of junk he never uses because he thought it’d be cool at the time. “Nothing, really. I was hoping you’d decipher some innuendo, but that’s not happening so…let’s go!” he grinned, and leant over to kiss him back, cupping his face and pulling it into his. He gazed into Bill’s eyes, his own bright green ones were alive with excitement, and he wasn’t sure how the hell he was going to sit still through a whole movie, he was so hyper.

He rolled his eyes at the comment and sighed lighly. However, he couldn't stop the smile that formed when Ryuu kissed him back. Pulling away, he placed the bag on the floor in front of him as he glanced around the room. His mind filled with thoughts that had been bothering him for the past couple of days. He wanted to know what exactly was going on between him and Ryuu. He'd made the mistake of sleeping with him, without being in a relationship; something he felt awful about and yet he continued to hang out with the boy. They'd gone to the valentines dance together and now they were at the movies where he'd been given a gift. Rubbing his head lightly, he forced the thoughts away.
"What movie are we seeing?" he asked, turning his attention back toward Ryuu and pouting, "I was hoping for a horror one.."

Ryuu watched him as he seemed to get lost in his thoughts, and he idly reached up and ran his fingers through Bill’s hair. It seemed odd that for someone who cared so much for their hair, they’d make it look so frizzy… Ryuu frowned, his brow creasing in curiosity. “Your hair was much nicer down,” he mused, not really meaning to say it out loud. There weren’t many people around, so they wouldn’t have to wait long to get a seat in any of the ten theatres. He noticed Bill rubbing his head, and tipped his head on one side, “Got a head ache?” he asked, for once concerned about someone other than himself. It actually felt pretty nice. “Horror is good. Especially if you’re the kind of person who clings to the guy next to him,” he grinned, pushing his beanie back, because it was sliding over his eyes which, although looked very cute, made it impossible to see.

Bill stared at Ryuu for a moment; many people told him his hair looked better down, but he'd never listened to them. Hearing it come from Ryuu, however, made him wonder if maybe it was true. "Yah? Maybe I'll wear it down more.. would be easier," he mumbled before shaking his head, "No headache, just kinda tired."
Smirking, he laughed a little. Although he loved his horror films, he was definitely the type of person to cling. Whenever he watched one, no matter who he was with, he would cling, wide eyed and bury his face where ever possible. The last time he'd watched one it had been with Tom and he'd gotten so scared he'd shuffled across the couch and clung for his life on his brothers arm. "That's definitely me," he laughed nervously, hoping Ryuu didn't make fun of him for it.

“Hum…Horror movies…” he muttered to himself, picking up a film guide that was on the floor. He checked the date, and it was this months. Flicking through page after page of romances, he found one that caught his eye. “Here’s one! Untraceable...‘this is the story of a technology-savvy serial killer who displays his graphic murders on his own website. The FBI Internet Crimes division must work quickly to track him down’,” he read out of the book, and his green eyes lit up. “Sounds perfect! Let’s go!” he grinned, jumping up, and stuffing his hands in his pockets. Walking bouncily over to the ticket counter, he turned to beckon Bill, still grinning. As long as it was something that would make Bill cling to him, he didn’t really care. Ryuu was all for crappy films.

Bill watched in silence as Ryuu flipped through a movie guide. He jerked his attention back toward gim when he mentioned a film. When he finished describing it, he laughed lightly. It sounded alright but kinda lame at the same time.
"Alright," he muttered and laughed at Ryuu's excitement. Watching him bounce over to the counter, he stood up quickly grabbing the bag and follwed the older boy. Once beside him, he reached into his pocket, pulling out his wallet and counting his money to make sure he had enough.

The girl at the counter was very pretty, and Ryuu was tempted to flirt his way into two tickets, but then mentally chided himself. He must stop getting free stuff just because he was hot. He looked at Bill, and he gawped. “No way, man! Put it away,” he complained, getting out his own wallet. He had just enough for two tickets and a small box of popcorn, and maybe a drink if he was lucky. “Two tickets for Untracked,” he said, and the woman tapped the computer, which spat out two tickets, and handed them to him. He paid her before Bill could, and dragged him towards the refreshments. “My treat, alright? If you want to pay, you invite me,” he grinned, kissing him on the cheek again.
[Ryuu, you're so cute x3]

Bill glanced down at his wallet and ignored Ryuu, he was about to ask for his ticket when the older boy beat him to it. Sighing, he stuffed it all back in his pocket. "Thanks," he said as Ryuu pulled him over to the snacks, grinning when he kissed him again. "At least let me pay for food," he muttered, glancing at the older boy.

Fishing in his back pocket, he found another $5 dollar note, and smiled. He had plenty now. “For God’s sake!” he laughed, putting an arm round his waist, “I already told you, it’s my treat, alright,” he smiled and let go of him to grab a packet of minstrels. He loved them, especially when they melted on the inside before you ate them. Plus, chocolate breath was very sexy…Ryuu thought anyway. He put them on the counter, and the zity guy working his lunch shift between classes asked what else he wanted in a nasally tone. “Erm…What popcorn do you like, Bill?” he turned to ask, and the guy behind the counter sighed and rolled his eyes. He felt a long discussion of ‘I don’t mind, what do you want’, ‘no, I’m asking you’, ‘no! Have what you want,’ coming on. And frankly, so did Ryuu.

"Okay, fine," he smiled and thanked Ryuu again, watching him place a pack of candy on the counter. Hearing Ryuu ask him what kind of popcorn he liked, he shrugged and looked to see what they had. He hadn't been paying much attention to anything like that, he'd assumed the older boy would just choose. He glared at the boy behind the counter when he rolled his eyes. "Uhm.. whatever's cheapest it fine," he shrugged again, looking back toward Ryuu. He really just wanted to get in to watch the movie.

Ryuu shrugged, and turned back to the guy at the counter, “Just salted,” he said, putting the money on the desk. Once he’d gotten his change, he grabbed the snacks, and Bill’s waist, and headed towards the screen they were showing it on.
A couple of other people from Watson were hanging around outside, waiting for the last film to finish, but Ryuu didn’t really know any of them well enough to bother speaking to them. Some smiled in recognition, but he just ignored them. “You better not squeal,” he smirked, kissing Bill on the cheek. Ryuu had never been a fan of scary movies. They didn’t move him at all; it was just like … Woo, fake blood. Excellent. And he hated gangster movies, because he got a bit of a guilt trip. Back in Dijon he’d been in a knife gang, and he’d been in quite a lot of trouble, but luckily never got into Juvenile. Ryuu’s reminiscing showed on his face, and his grip loosened on Bill’s waist as he stared at the floor, lost in thought.
